Just finished watching the Seeker series via NetFlix… It was awesome!! I couldn’t wait to get home from work to watch the next several episodes… Was checking to see when I could see the next season only to discover that there is no next season… I’m devastated to find it didn’t continue. Didn’t even know it was on TV until I saw it on NetFlix. Certainly wasn’t advertised to pick up interest. Would love to see more seasons… I agree with other comments… there is so much on TV that is boring and uninteresting beginning with all the “reality TV” shows. The Seeker was such a change of pace…

They have Merlin which is a wonderful show. We no longer have Hercules & Zena the Warrior Princess so losing Legend of the Seeker really hits hard. If many come together they might consider this worth while. Which it is. Ask they to pls help save such a great show that could be included with their great show “Merlin” What do we have to lose at this point. So many other stations are picking up show that didnt do well with other stations, but the love of the fans brought it back on another station. Get as many people as you can to make a stand because as “many” we can make a difference. Good luck to us all. I have sent mine. Please send yours. Thanks!

I love this show, I watched Merlin and then it moved to syfy which I don’t have, I love watching these two shows with my grandkids The time slot was hard to stop for the day and watch but we managed to do it wish it was brought back to Tv

I myself just found this series through NETFLIX. It is definately different than what is on PRIMETIME now, that is exactly why it NEEDS to continue. Syfy would be a GREAT home and give it a good time to show. The acting is great, getting tired of all the fight scenes, after two seasons I just fast forward through them. Love the Characters they really make the show. If it doesn’t continue, I would love to see these actors go on to do something else, and I will definately be buying the books to get some sort of closure.

OMG, I just got turned on to this series thru my NetFlix channel. I absolutely love it. The station here in Texas must have had this on at a weird time. I wish they’d make a season #3, but I know that will never happen. Whoever produced this series needs to make a new series…something mystical like this one. I think we all are tired of watching the junk that is on TV now-a-days.

We loved watching the seeker together. BRING it back . it was on at a bad time slot. Put it on at a time people would watch. like at night around 8 or 9 instead of moving it to a 4:00 time slot. Dumb move. WE loved the show. Merlin is ok. but my husband had read all the books, I was getting to experience what he was telling me about thru the show after he read the books. PLEASE BRING it back. Just let us know the time slot . IT will get the ratings if put on at a time when people are home.

I LOVE the Legend of Seeker! And I was very very sad to her that it was not going to continue with a 3rd season. I think if you continue it, it may have the fans(viewers) you are looking for. There is a lot of people who are begging for it to continue. Please don’t let it discontinue because of a few lost ratings, which I’m sure will raise after all this uproar.

I didn’t realize until now that there was a chance that LOS would not be back. It is the only reason I turned the TV on, on Sundays. I worked my dinner and schedule around being free to watch it. What are they thinking, this is the kind of show that has a dedicated following. Many people don’t know about it; if the networks would advertise the show they would get a whole new group of loyal fans.
Please, at least give us a concluding episode!!

I think this was one of the best shows that has ever aired and strongly suggest that the producers and whoever else is involved in making sure the show has not only a season 3, but many, many more, get on the ball and make sure this show continues. I Just read some of the articles of The Seeker now coming back.I really think The writers
Should have the chance to complete a finale.Even though I’m a grown adult man,I like watching the weeking mystery about the program.
I also think as for the younger children living in the world of today this was a very good
program to view.My Saturdays or Sunday evenings just won’t be the same.
I will miss the show greatly.Hopefully the matter will be considered

After Zena and Hercules, Legends of the Seeker was my favorite syndicated series. I agree that it was difficult to find since it was pre-empted so many times on Fox network (go figure) which probably gave it the kiss of death. Wish the series another season but not holding my breath.

I caught this show by chance one day and began to watch it, as it was interesting.
I love the show and I wish it went on forever. I wish it was the only thing on television. How the show didn’t survive is beyond me but it is my favorite show and
I miss it already and I haven’ been this happy with a show in a long time.

This has been a wonderful series with good wirtting, great actors and some interesting plot developments and twists.
It would be a shame to see this series go because some people lost faith with it. I will be the first to admit that it has been a chore keeping up with the ever-changing time slots and channel changes.
If anyone wants to complain about something, it should be the fact that the stations always, without fail, take an interesting or exciting show and juggle it around on timeslots and channels. They will always place such a show opposite another equally good show in the same timeslot, this always results in frustration and anger. that coupled with the before mentioned juggling, is bound to leave the viewer dismayed.
Most of the viewers I know have given up on chasing the programs around the clock and started renting movies. (at least they don’t have to put up with commercials that are so loud that they HAVE TO mute the tv because of the excessive difference in volume)

Cancel the Seeker???? I will be upset beyond belief. This is one of the best shows on tv. I started watching it during Season 1 and was hooked. Like the others have said, there is not very many good shows to watch. Out of all the shows that are on, this is the ONLY ONE that I look forward to watching. It is real shame that another great show like: eastwick, sg-atlantis, melrose place, and angel and buffy a few years ago is also cancelled. Presently, it appears that there are going to be more fashion influenced and gossip /rumor inspired shows that to me are uninteresting. When this show is becoming interesting and after so much has happened it ends. No one will know if the seeker and the mother confessor will wed or darken rahl will return to his former evil ways now that he is alive again. Weekends will be boring without The legend of the seeker.

“Michelle”, thanks for your comment about The Office. Gawd, I thought I was the only one who couldn’t stomach that show. I love a good parody, but these people are so mind-numbingly stupid it kinda hurts to watch. By comparison, LOS is an extremely intelligent show. It surprises me how much I like it, because before this I though Terry Goodkind was something of a no-talent hack, after “The Sword of Shanarra” many years ago. But LOS shows maturity, and thoughtfulness, and a willingness to shake up the Sword and Sorcery genre a bit. I LOVE the fact that–although the hero and the chief antagonist are both men–they would be entirely ineffective without the KICK-ASS women who support and protect and fight for them. With the addition of Sister Nicci as a sort of “wild card” antagonist, things were looking pretty interesting for the third season. Would the reborn Darken Rahl be able to reclaim the throne? Or would Sister Nicci try for it? Or perhaps they would form an uneasy alliance? Will Richard and Kahlen EVER be able to be together? What will Shota do next? Heck, might not Shota ally herself with Sr. Nicci? Now THAT would be a bad-ass alliance! Anyways, television glows a little less brightly now with the cancellation of such a superior series.

I haven’t read the books and don’t care that the TV series doesn’t follow it exactly. That was never the point when Goodkind gave the green light to make the series. The actors are great, the action is very cool and the plot lines have so many twists and turns that you can’t predict what’s going to happen. I like that very much. I’m appalled that ABC and Tribune canceled the show citing low ratings as the reason. I live in Seattle and couldn’t find the show on TV to save my soul. I had to watch in on Hulu. How the hell can people watch a show when you can’t even find when it’s playing. The low viewership is the network’s fault, not the fans. The show is good. With all the crap on TV these days this show is one of the bright lights in the morass. Don’t cancel it. Make Season 3 and air in a way that people know when the show is on so they can watch it. I hope they either change their minds or SyFy decides to pick it up. That would be a smart move, I think.

It would be a terrible loss to cancel this very creative program. I look forward to watching Legend of the Seeker every week, and when I heard it was to be cancelled, I was truly shocked.
It is a very well acted, imaginative program and there are so few shows that have the artistry of LOS. I hope that the producers of the program and I really hope the suits at the CW reconsider. LOS is getting very popular and it would be a terrible mistake to cancel such a show.

I have only recently discovered Legend of the Seeker on Netflix. I am hooked and would be very disheartened to see the series end. I was planning to set my DVR to record it for the 3rd season. I can’t believe it! They cancelled Legend of the Seeker just when it was getting good. Season 2 and the last few episodes of Season 1 were finally starting to become cool and like the books although they took parts from all 11 novels. I didn’t like that; nor did I like how they changed so much. Especially about the part with Richard Rahl being the brother of Darken Rahl. He was supposed to be the SON of Darken Rahl and not the brother. Nevertheless, the second season was awesome!!! They so better make a season 3.

Like one of the previous posts pretty much all that is on is horrible reality programs …I call them garbage! Finally they come up with a great fantasy action series and for sure the dumb crowd would rather watch some stupid biggest loser or idiot housewives from some county. I think that most of the people I know watch LOS on netflix .They should count all those people too.They would find a much larger following of the series then.
I found LOS online and have been a fan from the beginning. I don’t watch TV as most of the programming is so bad. I also miss LEXX.

I agree w/ the viewers comments! How many shows on U.S. television have the qualities of LOS? I believe there is not a show that delivers compassion w/ a touch of honest adventure! Why does rating play should a key role in deciding a shows fate. If Disney (ABC) really wanted to promote its long and distinguished standing of 75 years of peace, happiness and all things of good report, continue LOS for the 3rd season. I’m probably insane to talk of good television before the all might $ and the bottom-line.

I am very disappointed at the cancellation of this show. I liked the characters and the intricate story line, I was also pleased with the addition of Cara and I would have enjoyed seeing her character grow. The end was too abrupt and the future of Richard, Kahlan and Cara was left too our imaginations. However, for me, it left me with an empty feeling.

The legend of the seeker is one of the best tv shows I,ve seen in a long time. I still can’t believe they are cancelling it. Please do not kill off a GREAT TV show. PLEASE! I look foward to watching my favorite show every week , because all they have on tv nowdays is pure garbage!!! REALITY SHOWS are the worst. The hills?? I mean come on , why are they’re lives so important?? People deal with problems and situations like in those shows all the time. Everyday, so why would i wanna watch theyre lives .. Its dumb. Its all GOSSIP and about BETRAYAL and bad examples for teens. The seeker however is A GREAT SHOW. SAVE OUR SEEKER!!!!!!!!!

I hate to see the show come to an end. There are so many garbage shows on TV that go on and on.

I like the cast, I like the story, and it could have done a lot more with the characters.

Really, really depressing.

I will be very disappointed if LOS is cancelled. My husband and I look forward to it every week. I think there are a lot more fans of this show out there than the network thinks. Too bad only the folks who are chosen by Nielson are counted for the ratings — there’s got to be a better way to evaluate how many folks are watching programs.

I can’t believe it will not have a third season!!! This is one of the best shows in years. My wife and family look forward to it each week when it pops up on netflix. Fir us it started out slow the first season, but we stuck with it and then around episode 6-7 of the first season each episode gets better. Originally we started watching it the same day after we watched the last season one episode of Spartacus which is another great show so that is why it probably seemed slow. However now we love LOS so much better and are devastated to here it is going to be cancelled. Hopefully ABC will change there mind or another channel pick it up. Please somebody pick it up because tons of people deserve a good show not another reality show….Enough of shows like American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. Please we are oversaturated with reality TV. Please more LOS please..
