I really enjoyed watching the series of the seeker. I would be most hopeful of a renewal.

I just recently read the two novels sword of truth and blood of the fold. I could not put them down.

I really hope that the series comes back on the air. I am not happy the way it ended.

its the network’s fault that the show is not attracting any viewers. i guess they have underestimated the power of advertising. my suggestion for the new networks is to make a movie script then show it to the world, then make the season 3 that way for those who has not seen the series will pick up the track.

This show is like Roar, starring Heath Ledger. It had a wonderful story line and characters and actors. It had a lot to offer, but because of the late time slot and the minimal advertising for it the show ran its small course and ended with everyone still wanting more. It was a wonderful show and now they are doing the same thing with Seeker. Bad time slots and minimal advertising gets the show low ratings, what do they expect. Tired of executives who don’t really no the true audience and rely on out dated reporting to make decisions. Nielson families don’t represent the norm any more, not by a long shot. AND With the new Sy Fy channel executive they think wrestling is Sy Fy too. I am sick of people who run stations that don’t understand the entire concept of Sy Fy. AND I am tired of the trash they put on in their like their 50 dollar movies. Yes they have some good series and put good money into some movies, but we need more meat on the Sy Fy channel. Oops sorry for the rant LOL

I daresay agree. The show must go on. It is not everyday that a gem like this – though a little rough but edgy – can be found amongst the heap of digital/analog show dung pile. I am a connoisseur of TV series, and I only watch a handful including this one. I hope they resurrect this show that has enraptured so many a viewer’s fancy.

As usual, they draw us in and get us hooked and dump the show. Hummm this maybe WHY I don’t have dish, cable,or anything any more.. I started watching the show on Netflix…I love the adventure and that it isn’t some dumb sitcom with different people, but same old jokes. I truly enjoyed watching it and would love for them to continue on.

Hey, how about an update???

Here it is a year after this article was posted and still no word yet as to the final status of LOTS.

I can understand some reluctance about renewing, however, the most common complaint I’ve read is that LOTS was shown at 5PM on Saturdays; or 6PM Sundays; or some other weird time. And, I understand their concerns about ratings, but it’s entirely the fault of Tribune Media for running the show in non-primetime hours.

So, update us already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope the show continues. I love a good fantasy show and this one has it all. It would really be a shame to see another good show get cancelled due to inaccurate polls and ratings. More than likely the drop in score has nothing to do with the quality of the show but other factors that are not being considered, like people having to take 2-3 jobs just to make it in todays economy. I really loved the show. I loved looking forward to having something to watch on saturday’s. I wish that some other channel could pick up the show, truely I do. I am there were a lot of issues in the show that was not explained. I mean is that what a show suppose to do is have you on the edge of your seat? All in all I will always be a fan and hope that they would find another producer, but if not good luck to all the cast members with the best of luck!

I just found the legend of the seeker on netflix and i LOVE it!!!! i was mad when i heard they canceled. they should really keep into mind that not everyone has the time to watch it every day. i know i can. but at 11pm when im just setteling down. thats when i would watch untill 3 am. they should keep doing it and make dvd’s they would probly do alot better with it. and yes i know alot of misspelling, but i dont care

in my opinion, legend of the seeker is one of the best tv shows i’ve ever watched. it is aired all over the world (i would know as i am watching it from Jordan–> in the middle east) and it would be a worldwide disappointment if it was cancelled. the fact that they tried to cancel it and the fans rioted is proof of that. this legend should be carried on for more seasons, the story hasn’t ended and the fans will not stop rioting until they get more seeker episodes.
come on everyone, worse shows than this are being renewed so what’s up with this one now? why not make a third season?

I would love to see a third season of Ledgend Of The Seeker. The characters are just begining to blossom into the kind of heroes you could relate to. I would love to see Kara find love and redemption for her past. Richard and Kaylin find a way to be together with out losing their powers, and Zed find a long lost wife and seattle down in his final days. Something along those lines. In SciFi you eventually have to blend the fantacy with reality in a way that allows the story to continue. That is the trick, and the trick to that, is haveing really good writers who do not go too far out their. That way the average American can relate to it and say, yeh that could happen. Or I wish that would happen.

I would like to start out by saying that ” This is a Big Mistake ” not to air the 3rd season of ” THE SEEKER ” . This movie is shared by millions of viewers who look forward to this show for family reason’s !!! The unity that this show display’s is unique in it’s self. Adult’s and children alike share in the respect and love that this show display’s through it’s character’s ! The things that are displayed are : Honesty, Trust, Love, Respect, Loyalty, and Morals that can be instilled in our children, and adult’s alike. Example : ( I have actually heard a family getting on a bus and separating, for work and school this family talking about one of the episodes that displayed Honesty and Love. This whole situation while I was going to work was so dramatic that part of the whole bus became involved with the little girl’s ideas about one of the episodes ) The Seeker has a ” POSITIVE IMPACT ON PEOPLE YOUNG AND OLD ” !!!!! The moralistic values that have been displayed in the past and present by ” THE SEEKER ” should be Highlighted and by all means the series must continue !!! We as a people and parent’s need more pictures like this series to continue to run ” INFINITELY ” !!!

Legend of the Seeker is the best show I’ve ever seen. Its sad that it ended with just 2 seasons. If any show deserves another chance, its this one. It beats the hell out of whats on tv right now. To everyone who really loves this show; read the books. And most likely if you had read the books first you’d not have liked the show near as much. For this show to have done well it would have needed to be more like the Lord of the Rings trilogy and less like the Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess tv series’. Why will no one make a serious fantasy tv series?

I notice a few younger kids posting here who loved this show and that makes sense. It was definitely aimed at a younger crowd. If I were 15 years yonger I’m sure it’d be my favorite show as well. It sort of reminded me of Star Wars I-III. Too much silliness for us 20+ year old folks to really love and get into. Make a fantasy tv series that’s more serious and has better special effects and a better storyline and it’ll be a success.

Legend of the Seeker should definitely continue it is one of the greatest series of all time! What more could you want from a show. It has a hero who chooses between right and wrong, and always fights for justice no matter what others think. There is adventure, true love, great fight scenes and so much great entertainment I can’t possibly imagine why they would not want to continue. This is a show that everyone enjoys, I watch it with my 16 year old son and we can’t get enough of it. There is so much junk on TV, please let us keep some good entertainment!!

legend of the seeker is the best show on TV especially since it relates to real life situation which both kids & grownups can learn good lessons from.legend of the seeker has adventure,true love,true friendship,romance,morals,magic & much more.other shows just have to much junk in these days & bad on kids while legend of the seeker does the opposite it has those good lessons to learn from.I love the show more than any show on TV today.the show has the most superb actors & actresses I have ever seen like Bridget Regan,Craig Horner,Tabrett Bethell,Bruce Spence who are all superb role models for kids.I love watching it on saturday in Fargo ND.not many shows have good lessons for both kids teens,& grownups alike but legend of the seeker is a superb show with superb lessons for all people of all ages.so please renew it for at least a 3rd season I am sure if you pick it up the show will take off & do great & more & likely go to even a 4th or even a 5 th season.

Firefly, The Pretender, Sarah Connor, Space Above and Beyond, Dead Like Me, and the granddaddy of them all, which thanks in part to syndication, proved to the world that the television program executives are not as savvy as they would like others believe becoming the biggest of all franchises ever on television.
Star Trek!

Seems that when a show does not meet the biased programmers and bean counters ideas of what a show is or should be according to their limited imagination of true viability for a television show, it gets cancelled. Then the ones that cancelled the show try to throw up all sorts of logical explanations, and statistical figures to throw the scent of the fact that in reality, they have no clue of what they are doing. Some of the best shows take a while to get people worked up into frenzy about them.

Legend of the Seeker was a show that I watched religiously not on a television, but on a computer monitor several days after it had aired. I did so at my convenience. There is still no accurate means of measuring the impact and audience for a television show watched on computers, but still programming “gurus”…yeah…right! Still manage to get it wrong. Yes, I want more of the show to watch, appreciate, enjoy, get worked up about, and just let my dreams of fantasy and carefree abandon take flight when I watched the show. Now the studios are being coy about offering DVD’s of the shows, and I believe more for the reason to see if their decision to say that it was over was the right one.

I want more of the show, which means likewise more DVD’s with more episodes and more money for the studio. Why should many of us buy a television show that was cut off at the knees by the studios. I would not buy any DVD’s until I would be able to get a solid 4 to 5 seasons. One of the television shows that I loved most of all was “Babylon 5”, and not just because it was entertaining and fun, but because it gave all of us a solid 5 years of shows, and most important of all………………..it gave us closure on the series.
We are not satisfied with just a pittance of 2 seasons. I want more.

I just saw the first series 2 days ago on netflix. It was just by chance that I saw it in the list for TV shows and figured ehh why not. For me it was an instant hit. I watched all 22 episodes ofthe first season in 2 days. I just started the second season today, but want to spread ot out so i don’t run through it so quickly. I even went out and picked up The Wizards First Rule, which is the first book in the 10 book series that the TV series is based off of. Like I said, I found out abot this series just off sear luck scanning netflix and I think it is well done. I would definatly tune in each week to watch it if it continued to air. Just like others have mentioned, if ABC did some advertising for this, I think others would tune in as well.
I am ssooooooo tired of the mindles dribble of these reality shows they try to pawn off as entertainment now a days. If they should pull anything, it hould be shows like big brother, the batchlor / batchloret (god please these first) and all the other reality crap.
I say advertise more and bring on another season, you can count me in to watch, and spread the word. Plus Bridget Regan is HHOOOTTT!!! I’d tune in just for her

Please bring back the legend of the seeker. I found it very entertaining and I would have loved to see what would become of Kahlan and Richard. I also would have loved to see cara get to have a life and love, because she obviously was changing due to the impact that Richard, Kahlan and Zedd Had on her. She began to care about people and other living things. Cara was hurt when she thought the Nightwisp had died and was happy to see that the babies had indeed survied. This is why I would love to see what was going to happen next. I am somewhat ofa romantic, and even thought there was a lot of bloodshed it still was a romantic tale of the the Seeker and the Mother Confessor.

PLEAS BRING THE SHOW BACK ON THE AIR WITH A RENEWAL OF A THIRD SEASON.

I know they have to make ‘some’ changes, but to change it radically is a big mistake, and makes fans of Terry Goodkind’s masterpiece alittle upset. However, the casting and acting is superb. I had bought season 1, but I was so upset with the changes that were made to the storyline, that I just gave it away as a Christmas present. I was thinking about buying season 1 again and also buying season 2, because the acting is right on. But, if the show is cancelled I will not be buying.

hopefully some one will realize the with the right marketing this show could have a wide range of audiences and it so much better then most things that are on tv
it is a vey well done show maybe even HBO or SHOWTIME could pick it up

Please dont cancel.This show is very good. My whole family felt like they are part of our family already. We always wait for the weekend to watch it.And we really love to watch a season 3. They should do some advertisement about this show because i just accidentally turn on the tv one time when it is on and we fell in love with the show already and become a fan

common ABC you all have trouble recognizing good shows with large audiences..First Kyle XY on ABC Family now The Seeker as well as many more. Are you worried that a few good shows might make you look good or what.. Get with it start listening to your viewers

I just discovered “Legend of the Seeker” on Netflix a couple of weeks ago. I’ve already watched season 1, just ordered it on DVD, and am planning to purchase season 2 when it comes out on DVD in September. Please ABC — give us a season 3 of this excellent show!
