I'm sure of that. But I only saw two shows and that was when it was on in prime time. At that time all the audience saw was an old woman trying to maybe recap her I Love Lucy days. I am such a fan of the whole Arnaz family, Desilu Studios and all that and wish I could have known them. I had mixed feelings when this show came on and is one reason I didn't make it a point to watch. I thought then it was a little sad. But anyway, they pioneered so much as far as television and that fact he wanted to film his shows is the reason we can enjoy them today in the quality we have and not fuzzy kinescopes.

@Edward Bowmaker: I think the show holds up much better as a rerun. If you look at it as a simple old-fashioned sitcom from another time, it's quite enjoyable.

Yes, it was very sad in that Lucy felt the public no longer "accepted" her as the character "Lucy". Let's face it, whether as Lucy Ricardo, Lucy Carmichael, Lucy Carter or Lucy Barker, The character was STILL Lucy and once the public no longer accepted her as that character, she felt her life was over and shortly after, ironically it was. I wish I had had the forsight to tape these when they were on, as it was I only saw one or two episodes. With the popularity in putting her other shows on DVD it will be interesting to see if this one makes it.

I OWN ALL OF THE 13 AIRED EPISODES OF THIS LONG FORGOTTON SERIES-LUCY'S LAST. SHE FELT THAT THE PUBLIC DID NOT LOVE HER ANYMORE,BUT LUCY WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED. SHE PASSED AWAY 3 YEARS AFTER THIS SHORT LIVES SERIES WENT OFF THE AIR IN 1986.
