Life was a great show, quirky plot and dialog, likeable characters, good acting. I would love it brought it back and make more episodes. Enough of the idiotic fill-in-the-blank-CIS, xxPD, predictable sex-blood-gore formulaic shows. Kudos to the writers and actors of LIFE.

BRING BACK THIS SHOW. NBC DOESN’T HAVE VERY MANY SHOWS WORTH WATCHING. IT SEEMS AS IF YOU KEEP GETTING RID OF THE ONES THAT PEOPLE LIKE AND KEEP THE ONES THAT AREN’T WORTH CRAP. THAT’S WHY YOUR STATION IS IN THE TOILET NOW. BRING THE SHOW BACK FIND A GOOD TIME SLOT FOR IT! DON’T PUT IT UP AGAINST A SHOW THAT YOU KNOW HAS A STRONG FAN BASE UNTIL LIFE CAN GET IT’S OWN FAN BASE BACK AND GET NEW ONES IN. MY SON LOVED THE SHOW AND ASKED ME TO GET THE SECOND SEASON ON DVD. LISTEN, YOU DIDN’T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHEN IT CAME TO CONAN & LENO, AT LEAST LISTEN TO THIS. PUT LIFE BACK ON TV AND BACK INTO YOUR DYING STATION.

This show should have never been cancelled, because of J Leno. find the actors and bring them back it was a good show. NBC made a big! big! mistake as they can see now.

Life was my favorite show on network TV! Whoever at NBC that put it at the same time slot as “Criminal Minds” was obviously out to lunch. TNT and USA networks have done very well in Primetime by offering alternatives to” Reality” TV . CBS picked up “Medium” and I was very happy. How bout someone picking up “Life” and putting it up against one of NBC’s shows to get get a true rating. hmmmm… let me see,” Life “or “The Biggest loser”??

Bring “LIFE” back please…. My Husband and I watched this together! I can honestly say that it was one of those shows that appealed to both men and woman and was not your cliche’ detective show. I can’t believe that a smart studio exec. that has seen this show isn’t bringing this gem back.

Parroting what many others have said…enjoyed the characters, plots/subplots…one of the few shows that my wife enjoyed watching together. These reality shows are such a bunch of crap but I know that they are cheap to produce. Life had the the characteristics that I look for in an entertaining show. The show was not jamming some political correctness or point of view down the viewer’s throat. Since Law and Order has become a propaganda tool for the left I don’t watch it or related programs any more.

Guys, in the final 2 episodes the answered all of the questions behind the framing and Charlie got the bad guy in the end! I really liked this show as well (Tivo’d it every week!!!). I just wonder how they could continue the story when all the questions had been answered.

Loved the show. Cruises character was intriguing and offbeat. Sarah Shihah was edgy, confident yet vunerable, not to mention extremelly sexy. The ongoing search for closure on the part of Cruise was believable and sustained audience interest.
So what’s my point?

COME ON!!!! As soon as we find a series that peaks mine and my husbands interests THEY CANCEL IT!!!! Whats up??? It had everything! Plot twists, drama, comedy! What more could they ask for? I don’t understand the thought process over at NBC. The overall ratings are in the toilet, and when they do get a program that so many people enjoy, they cancel it! Well, they brought back friday night lights… lets see if they will bring Life back too! I think its a much more dramatic show.

Wow!! One has to wonder who makes these decisions to cancel shows. Life was a great show from the first one I watched. Charlie Crews was so refreshing. He could be funny and cop-smart at the same time. And, yes the man is sexy! He and his partner had a chemistry. His buddy, the accountant was a great addition. This series could have been built on for years to come. It was a show I recommended to all my friends and co-workers. It wasn’t made of the same old dribble that you see so much of on the tube. I swear if they come out with another “REALITY” show, I think I’ll abandon television. It’s not a wonder other countries think America is such a brainless society. REALITY….what a laugh! PLEASE. bring back Life and put life back in television.

Life would be better off on USA. I really liked the characters and think they cut this show off way too early.

P.S. – UNLIKE CSI , Law & Orders, CSIs, NCIS the characters in Life were what made the series, not the cases.

GOOD! life sucked anyways, sarah is a horrible acress and frankly you Guys are the only ones who liked it, because it never got good ratings, there are too many law and detective shows anyways, law and order; svu is the only one worth watching. Niether actors from life fit the part and we knew it wouldnt last, no ones going to watch unless shes half naked.. THANK GOD!

I too was looking to see when it would be on this season and found out it was cancelled. I love this show. I’ve noticed when they bounce around their show times (you kind of expect it to stay in the same night/time- I know I’ve missed episodes of shows because of it) shows seem to get cancelled.
They cancelled “Life” but brought back “Parks and Recreation”. Gimme me a break. What a STUPID show!!! It’s apparent they don’t know a hit when they see it. I would love to see another network pick it up.

Un freeking believable! It was the best drama show on TV. It smoked CSI Miami by miles with its intelligence and humor and acting. You know that if they brought it back, they’d screw it up by trying to make it overly fake like CSI. They’d take the blood out of the acting and storylines because they think all TV viewers are idiots and can’t stand to think. It would be cool if a cable network brought it back, except for the fact that I don’t have cable! ARRRRGGGHHH!!!

I am so disappointed that NBC has failed to see the quality of this show. Surprise? NOPE – NBC does this all the time. I truly hope another network will pick this wonderful show up. AND the biggest LOSING move NBC could ever make – Putting Leno in 5 nights a week during prime time. Geesh someone with some brains PLEASE take over NBC programming!!

I am very sad. Life was the only television series that my wife and I followed together. The characters were outstanding, and will be missed.

I think they canceled the show however because they could not figure out how to keep the story going without it becoming another CSI type show. I loved the subplot and wish they would have given us some insight into how he was set up and what exactly happened.

I think that they should make a two hour farewell show for all these shows that they decide to cancel so that the viewers get some closure, lol .

I am not one to write comments but I have to say I am truly disappointed to hear Life is not going to make a Season 3. I did a search to see when it would be on and got this information instead. My fiancee and I fell in love with the show. I bought a previous season on DVD because it was such a good show. I encouraged friends and family to watch it even. There is no show like it and it will be sad to see it go. Would have been nice to see the rest of the series and to see what the future of the show would have brought. If you could reconsider I know it would be a HIT!

very very upset that life has been cancelled. Just like the rest of you I came online to see when the premiere would be only to find out it has been cancelled. I never missed an episode. I thought it was a truly amazing show with an amazing plot & interesting characters. I couldnt wait to find out who framed him. NBC used to be my favorite network but what is there really left to watch. I mean no more medium, life or er, all they have to do now is take away law & order svu & I have nothing to watch on their primetime schedule!

Once again, TV execs can’t seem to get is straight about people wanting intelligent, THOUGHTFUL, well-WRITTEN shows..no, they’d rather put garbage on….like…fat people falling in love….I am fat..I don’t care to see other fat people paw each other and act like they are into a permanent committment…nor do I care about the Barbies & Kens sucking face…WHO CARES!!! …and I am TIRED of TALK SHOWS…OMG! I don’t care to hear crap spewing out of people’s mouths about how they screwed up their lives, or want to screw up someone elses..yada yada yada…I DON’T CARE!!!! I hear it all day long…I want to come home from a long day at work…turn on the TV and see some WELL WRITTEN E N T E R T A I N M E N T!!!! Life was GREAT!!!!! I couldn’t wait for the next episode… Another show that got killed was Pushing Daisies!!! We are very disappointed in the cancelation of Life. I noticed lots of shows being renewed are lacking in depth and substance. It seems that the business of TV shows is declining farther and farther and the ability to sustain quality programing is sad. Too bad the public is so underestimated in our need for thoughtful programing, not everyone has an flash in the pan mentality. Give us something to chew on that is smart quirky and funny or just intelligent. Life was worthwhile.

Bring back the series Life. What is wrong with NBC… I have been watching the 3 major networks less each year. This past year there were only 5 shows I recorded from the big 3. I watch USA, Bravo, and TNT more and more. Now I am down to 4 shows to watch from NBC, CBS, and ABC…
I am not intereted in trying out your new comedys that are usually not funny, lack any plot, and will likely end the first season. I am tired of having good shows cancelled. The station said it had poor ratings but I see pages & pages of people complaining that you took this off the air. How many people do they need for their ratings?

I agree with Bruce, there was very poor promotion for this series especially after the whole Strike thing. It’s sad to see it end. Damian Lewis is phenomenal and cracked me up as Detective Cruz. Sad that another good show bites the dust.

I just found out about this show. Have watched the first 8 episodes on dvd and think its great. Really some interesting characters and I got hooked on the sub plot to find out who framed Crews. If this show wasn’t well received it was because there was no ( or maybe poor) supporting promotion. I am also sick of stupid reality shows. Never watch them. I am very disapointed in the people behind this decision.

Why did they have to cancel LIFE! We love this show! Why do these companies cancel good, quality shows! LIFE (NBC) and THE UNIT (CBS) have been cancelled and they are good shows! Then the’d replace it with the same old type…you know sort of ER type (they took out ER and yet to be replaced with another similar type of show), or some poor written show with actors not having the charisma!
