LOST is incredible and genius. I have come to love this show and all its believable characters. The honesty in the acting and the story lines are fabulous, and unique.
I have not missed an episode from the get go.
I have checked out ABC and watched and watched again and again, can't get enough of this wonderful story.
It would be a wonderful idea to bring it back after all is said and done, in May.
All the characters are superb.
Yes bring it back as an ongoing TV series each week, cause I don't believe all good things come to an end. Or even a 1/2 hr. show each night, all week long.
As I said can't get enough of this wonderful story.

Yo, Lost is the best show ever, besides The Shield, and it needs to go on FOREVER, only 2 more years sucks but atleast we know that it wont be cancelled with no chance of finding out what the hell is goin' down. And also, 'Monica Marciel', is a gay fag who has no idea what good television is and why would you be reading about Lost if you don't like the show? Is that how much of a loser you are? You don't have anything better to do? Douche Bag!

The outlook of the proposed ending of the series "Lost" is a further damnation of the American viewing public demenor... is says something when shows that have no connecting factor, like CSI, are winning the ratings. As i watch television critics, they complain that Lost is a series, for one, if you miss an episode that you, aswell, are lost! But I propose that isnt this the sign of a great series? If the critics are correct that just means that "Lost" doesnt indulge in "throw-away" episodes, which it doesnt - if you forgive the episode about the backstory of side charachters paulo and nikki and there rushed, subsequent deaths. - If each episode is completely pertanent to the next and the next then the show isnt wasting your time, it is a continous novel, not an empty fluff piece. I watch Smallville aswell, and I love the show and the advanced aspect they take on the superman character - I find it much superior to the far-stretched comics and movies - but I often find myself picking apart the episodes... the first season was plauged with, the much complained of, freaks of the week, but though the show responded with advancing a more character direct story line it is only through, mostly, one-shot villans that are proposed to the viewer only to perpetuate a five minute continuity of a season story. What is pertanent to the next episode is slim. Lost doesnt fool with us, it lets it be known that this is a series for those who value a quality story, that yearn for and end that they cant predict with any certainty. This brings me to the annouced ending of the show. Much has been mad that the writers\producers knew where they wanted this show to go before they pitched it, but after the successful pilot they were asked to stretch the middle to last the high ratings. This approach can possibly be blamed for the recent lag in the ratings, but the beauty and pain of the show is that although granted the knowledge that not each episode is truly pertenant to the conlusion, the viewer cant readily tell which episode is a throw-away, hence making each epi important in context to the next. Through the airing, of the series - and this is coming from a tele-junkie - "Lost" has never been anything other than the best show on television (in action\drama (comedy goes to Arrested Developement)) ...It bothers me that CBS has the best ratings on network television without having a single show that a care to tune in for weekly (King of queens is great but faces a bad timeslot and a not much adu finale approaching.) Its a shame that all of the best shows on TV are facing either, what they feel is, a forced end\cancelation or to anouce a future end date to ensure a trust in the story line... no one every suggested that Seinfeld announce a date because viewers were becoming compacent with the storyline, or Mash, or Friends! (tho, i cant say I ever enjoyed Mash or Friends) but the point is that TV shows that are considered great, that go into the Tele hall of fame do so when the character-actors on it refuse to go on and break-up like the Beatles over some reason or another *eheh! money desputes. ehem!* This al rings of a damn shame to me, right down the line... Arrested Development, BattleStar Galactica, Smallville, and Lost all announcing proposed (or in arrested's case, already) endings! Its a sad thing to me, I see the talk of dwindeling ad revenue and the debate of the threat of DVRs and Tivo, companies are looking to another medium, now beeing viral ads. If this trend is to continue it wil spell the end of either quality network programs or congressional outlawing of DVR systems... never before have networks thought it best to take there big shows and annouce a finalization date to boost already fair (to great ratings, i mention this because Lost has been noted as the most DVR'ed tv show, and companies dont count that in their ratings... though, i wonder how they differenciate given that they go off of detected tuned-in systems, which would includes cable and satalite DVRs- which must commit a tuner to record- and neilson fill-outs, which any loyal viewer would include a show that they taped but havent yet watched in their loggings... I dont know... Kudos to any who have read through this, but TV is hitting a major obsticle and milestone, a make or breaker. I feel with the desperation to take afformentioned shows and force them through to abbrieviated finales via annoucment, not through proper process, is a sign of extreme desparating, dooming desparation. a show like arrested, granted all of its awards and acclaimations would not have been shown the door so sson twenty years ago.. hell, ten years ago... but when an ad campaign decides a show's fate the road is clearly becoming far too narrow!
