Canceling the show would be a BAD idea lots of ppl like it and there
are not as many familey shows any more evry thing is either reality
or has bad morals and such but medium while a show about death
and such is a familey show. Pleas don’t cancel it I would cry

I love this show. It is one of the few family show’s on the air, not to mention
Extremely heart wrenching and entertaining. Please don’t take it off the air.
Atleast finish off another season so us loyal watchers can see how it ends.

NBC had to consult the public first. I never watched that channel, except for the times I watched Medium. I got hooked from the very first episode. I hope CBS is smart enough to keep doing the show and give it the place it deserves.

@Snoopy: The season opener picked up awhile after the finale. Allison had already awoken from her coma with some after effects from the stroke that occurred during her surgery.

I love Medium it is the best show ever with the best actors and great episodes. I am so glad CBS had the wisdom to buy it. I hope this show continues to run for at least another 5 years. I use to like Ghost Whisper the first two years were good. But too many cast changes and jumps in time and Ultra Secret books with Melinda’s name and it always in super crisis mode. It has become more like a scify soap opera my advice to Jennifer Love Hewitt is get better writers yours make the shows like a scify fantasy, next thing I know you will have real flying witches in your antique store. Come down to real metaphysics and not soap opera scify (Narania) Ghost Whisper, Medium is 10 times better than GH because a lot of it is based on facts and experiences or things that can happen. Patricia Arquette and all the other actors on Medium are NO.1!!!!

I love this show, which was the only reason I watched this channel. This show is very original and none of the other shows like this. This channel will loose a lot off viewers because of this bad decision.

Medium was always interesting and original. It was also one of the few shows with a ‘familiy ‘ setting. So many others shows are staged as “office, thirty something’–BOOORRRRIINGG.

CBS or some network>>>>pick it up please.

Patricia and the other actors are just excellent and deserve their pay and respect. I also must echo some of the other comments here–’reality ’shows suck and no one stays up in my house for Leno.

CBS would be using their intelligence to pick up Medium and put it between Ghost Whisperer and Numbers. What a great lineup! NBC isn’t using any decent logic to cancel Medium. Go CBS!

I am not surprised by NBC’s decision to cancel an intelligent; think out of the box; a show that casts excellent and talented actors; keep you on your seat story lines….after all “The Office” does that and more (not really)…. I sincerly hope that CBS will pick up the show – put the show where you want CBS, I’ll watch… and a final note for NBC Execs…you are the biggest losers….

If CBS does not pick up Medium, I swear I will be pissed off. I am already pissed off at NBC for canceling the damn show in the first place. They said they never got one fan letter???? I find that hard to believe, but either way, this is my fan letter now. I love medium, and it helps me with my struggling abilities. SO, please please, start a new season.

I think one facet of the show they dropped the ball on was young allison, those episodes when we saw a young allison hanging out with her friends and learning about how alcohol quietened the voices etc were really interesting and the actor that played the role did a really good job, i almost thought they could have a “young allison series” if not, i agree with another comment earlier about as the show gets along bring the daughters into it more, except marie, is there something wrong with her, how old is she now and she says like 1 word an episode if that, the olsen twins were carrying “full house” at a similar age

Friday’s would be great between Ghost Whisperer and Numbers……keep it going for at least 5 more years, what a story with the daughters coming into their own as well. It’s the best show going!!!!!

I really hope CBS takes this show on as it is FANTASTIC!! NBC has done nothing lately other than show the public it has no taste in good TV. Im sorry you can’t have a bazillion viewers every single week watching your shows, it’s just not plausible. Aside from that it seems as if after reading these blogs, and constant errors in judgment or just pure insanity, viewership for NBC is going down period!! Idiots.

I hope CBS picks up the show. It was the only NBC show I watched since Heroes went berserk.

I like Numbers so putting it before that is no problem. I generally watch on hulu anyway.

They can cancel Ghost Whisperer — that is a really dumb show.

This network is a joke. This was the only show we watched on this network.

The best thing for CBS to do is keep the show on the same schedule, day and time. The reason is that viewers that look at the schedules they will look for “Medium”, at the same schedule and will tune in. Many may not even look at the fact that it’s on a new Network. I think having it on the same time as Ghost Whisper is a mistake. So there is a two edge sword by doing it. Also Friday night generally is a bad day to have it on. Many many shows are cancelled when it’s changed to that night. program hnistory shows this.

I don’t get why any decent shows get canceled and replaced with reality crap and garbage like Prison Break. What a weird country we live in. Medium, Arrested Development, My Name is Earl…. all good shows. What’s the problem? Cool that CBS is going to pick Medium up but the Friday night slot is definitely going to hurt the show. Who sits in and watches TV religiously on a Friday night? Even the old folks occasionally hit the town. Bad slot for a great show.

It’s amazing that the Brits get away with stuff like The Mighty Boosh. American audiences would never get shows like that. I remember overhearing people at work discuss Arrested Development and how it “was stupid”. Once there are plots, any sort of character development or tricky humor it goes out the window here. What a sad lot.

It’s a phenomenal show, far too good to be taken off the air. The storylines are continually fresh, the acting is amazing, the cast are incredible. I would welcome a sixth season.

I have to agree with everyone that NBC is making a terrible mistake to cancel this show, its one of the few shows i watch on NBC, it really kills me to see these stations taking off good shows to put on lame non realistic reality television shows can we say boring?? *YAWN* i think they should be the ones getting the kicks, i really don’t know how people can watch that stuff i get enough reality in life..lol seriously NBC needs to keep medium or CBS should pick it up cause its a great show… i will miss it =( *sniffles*

CBS needs to pick up Medium. NBC’s move to more reality shows and Jay Leno at 9:00 pm is crazy. They’re about to loose a lot of viewers!

CBS once again will become the network of choice. NBC is making some terrible programming moves.

I can’t believe that this fantastic series has been canceled. I look forward to this every week. I love the characters and have watched since the very the beginning. When I found out that there was a real Allison Dubois it made the program even more intriguing. I agree with others this is a show that has great family values and wonderful story lines. Darn it anyway…….DON’T LET THIS SERIES GO.

It’s Monday night and I really want to turn on the TV to see Medium! It’s one of the very few shows on network TV that I watch. It’s so well done in terms of plot line, acting, and character development. It’s hard to believe that it was canceled, when there are so many other shows that are weak. Medium was at least intelligent! Maybe that’s the problem.
