I THINK THIS NEW SERIES OF MELROSE PLACE IS ABSOLUTLEY ON MARK. THE SHOW IS DEF CLASSY IN THE SENSE OF THE ORIGINAL AND KEEPS ON PAR WITH THE DRAMA. THE NEW CHARACTERS ARE A GOOD MATCH AND THE PERFORMERS ARE WATCHABLE. I DO HOPE THE CW KEEPS IT AROUND FOR A SECOND SEASON. KATIE CASSIDY IS BRILLIANT AS ELLA SIMMS AND THE ADDITION OF HEATHER LOCKLEAR WAS A MAJOR PLUS. I HAVE LITERALLY BECOME OBCESSED WITH THIS SHOW AND I WAIT IN ANTICIPATION FOR MARCH 9TH WHEN NEW EPISODES FINALLY RETURN TO THE CW!

if melrose place gets cancelled i will be SO F*CKING PISSED OFF!! When I first read about it returning back in january of 09 i was so extaticed and i watched it grow on the internet. Bringing back melrose and 90210 was one of the best ideas the cw has ever had. CW TAKE THIS FROM A TRUE MELROSE FAN! SCREW THE RATINGS!! KEEP MELROSE ON TV AND MAKE US FANS PROUD!!!!!!!

This show needs to be canceled! It is the worst piece of crap on TV! They took a classic TV show & ruined it! The new characters are lame & stupid. I can’t believe anyone thinks this is a good show. None of the people on it can act & the story lines are LAME! Worst of all is that plot about Jonah & his manish/drag queen girlfiend, Riley. The writers are trying so hard to make people believe that she is hot. Since when does fat, ugly, & manish equal model?!!? Get rid of those 2 characters & maybe, MAYBE the show will improve. Until then, it is UNWATCHABLE!!!!!!

amazing how CW struggles to save shows like Gossip Girl, Melrose Place, and 90210. yet won’t show that same energy when it comes to other shows that they just dumped like trash.

Why would u want to remake a show???? is there no ideas for shows anymore?? the show has already been done just like 90210, its just sad and a stupid idea to remake these shows, the cw is stupid for even putting these shows on the air!

I thought the episode was pretty good, and I think it’s only going to get better from here. I hope like hell that we’ll see a second season. Dawn seems to love this show. And I believe, as do many of the show’s fans, that if it was moved to a different time – say, its original Monday night slot – it would do much better.
