Men of a Certain Age: Season Two Returns in June, Will There Be Season Three?

Men of a Certain AgeWhile watching the second season of Men of a Certain Age in January, many viewers were dismayed to hear that TNT was calling the sixth episode the “season finale.” Had the show been cancelled?

Actually, TNT decided to cut the season into two parts. At some point, the cable channel increased the season order from 10 to 12 installments. The first six finished airing in January and now the second half dozen episodes are set to begin airing on Wednesday, June 1st at 10pm.

The first half of season two attracted a 0.5 rating in the all-important 18-49 demographic and an average of 2.16 million viewers each week. That’s a significant drop from season one which registered a 1.0 in the demo and an average of 3.19 million.

Will Men of a Certain Age be renewed for season three? That will likely have a lot to do with how well the remaining episodes perform in June. Unless the ratings pick up, it doesn’t look likely that we’ll see Ray Romano, Scott Bakula, and Andre Braugher on screen together after that.

What do you think? Are you glad to hear Men of a Certain Age is returning? Do you think it’ll get renewed for season three?

Why do they always cancel the good shows? Bring it back.

It’s terrible TNT has cancelled Men of A Certain Age. It’s great! So realistic and entertaining. I’m now watching it now on Netflix. Please bring it back. If TNT won’t do it, how about another channel? Friday Night Lights was picked up by Direct TV after it’s original network tried to cancel it. So was Damages. Southland also to went to another channel after it first aired. If that’s not possible, how about Netflix doing it just like they are currently doing A House OF Cards?
We need more show like Men OF A Certain Age on TV.

Bring it back! One of the very few shows worth watching. It was down to earth and real. Ray Romano and the cast did a great job. Why is it when there is finally a show worth watching, you cancel it???

what is wrong wtth the networks truly if it is not a kardashian or a bachelor pad you think it has no worth? I assure you YOU made a HUGE mistake cancelling Men Of A Certain Age. Who makes these decisions? Maybe you should advertise more and spend some time and money even letting the audience know about such a great show. I am so disappointed but what would one expect from a network of this caliber. They deserve a better network. Someone cancelled southland and a cable channel picked it up. I bet it wasn’t yours I hope I’m right.
What will you replace it with? Someone drinking all day and night and offering nothing to the human race? Thanks for listening Wish you would!

Just heard that the show was cancelled. It’s just another show that the baby boomers really enjoy and that the networks have cancelled . When will the networks learn that the baby boomers actually pay their bills and are finding less and less shows that we enjoy. My family and friends want it back!
