I liked the show, made me think that everything medical is not so black and white. Beats some of the other so called “comedy sitcoms” that are on tv now. Would like to see it come back pls.

My family and I love this show! My mother is Mentally ill and it was so comforting to have a television show that could somewhat explain what was going on. I am very sad to see this go and I hope Fox comes to their senses and puts the series back on!

too bad his show was cancelled. the main character actor was superb. the show actually had some content– as opposed to the IDIOTIC ‘reality’ & game shows. Bring it back!

you cancel it and did not hear people and put on other junk. I guess the
only good thing about that is that i will no longer rush home to watch the show

I just watched Mental in Malaysia on FX HD. I hope the producers of this show reconsider their decision to cancel this series. Mental ailments are getting more and more common these days and this series would just be perfect to show the people behind the scenes making the patients feel better and perhaps get cured.

I loved the show Mental, and was checking to see why a second season was not in the works. I wish the show “Mental” would come back this fall; it was refreshing! I’m tired of police/detective show overload on every channel!

I have commented on this program before. I simply don’t understand why there is such trash continuing on our major networks (not all, like Heroes, and Lost) and then to not even give Mental a second shot, when the ratings don’t show such bad numbers, there are plenty of shows that had lower numbers to start and came up in second and third seasons, why not give this much creative well deserved program another season. It’s both creative, and the ending was incredible! Bring this back, it deserves another shot! Get us out of reality hell!

This show is definately worth watching. I agree, I hate the fact that I look forward to watching a show and it is cancelled. I definately don’t miss an episode in the summer. I enjoy the show an will be extremely disappointed if it is cancelled

it’s so sad that there won’t be another season of “MENTAL”; it’s nice to have a show that discusses psychological problems that the world is suffering from these days. Jack was an example of the IDEAL psychiatrist that anyone would love to have as a therapist.

This show actually portrays mental health struggles as true to life as TV can be. Please continue this series. It’s informative, intellectual, imaginative, and thought-producing. There aren’t any other shows I know of which depict mental health in a decent light.

The series is great, it’s nice with a high level of professionalism and information. It should stay on. Chris Vance, Annabella Sciorra, Derek Webster, Jacqueline McKenzie, Marisa Ramirez and Nicholas Gonzalez are all doing a great job. It’s a great show, and the show should carry on with the second season. ‘Mental’ has a great future ahead, so much suspense!

Another show that I hope that they don’t cancel. Mental is one of a few this season that was unique, different and I LOVED but will probably be pulled. I think it wasn’t adverstized that well and I think it was different than other medical dramas. Just like Three Rivers had something special, Mental did too. I am so disappointed that these good shows don’t get a chance to catch on and they just cancel way too soon. I hope they will bring them back.

Loved the show! We are very upset that it may not be renewed. It was a hit from the very first episode! Once others get a chance to see it, they will be hooked also. I don’t think it was aired long enough for many people to see it. Please give other people the opportunity to experience this fantastic show. Love the chemistry between Jack and Becky!!!!

love, love love this show, why is it always the great shows are cancelled just as the population gets word about it, so give the people that missed it a chance to watch and ratings will jump! I sometimes think some shows are run at the wrong time, not allowing some or most to get a chance to watch it before its cancelled. This is a brilliant show, and should NOT be cancelled!

I think Fox needs to be challenged! Fox, I dare you to bring back Mental. I loved the ending you provided. You really tied up all the loose ends, and I loved the fact that the one doctor’s dirty little secret was brought out into the light and he got his. You left nothing undone, except where is our famous Dr. headed next? What hospital will he show up in and change the dynamics of mental health. C’mon, how many more posts do you need to realize you’ve got an absolute winner on your hands! Get writing, bring the series back. It seems to be loved by all. WHAT are you waiting for?

I enjoyed this show when it came out. It put a good insight on things that people may not know about facilities like that, but also making it something that was watchable.. taking some of the reality out of it. It was a great show, and I love the little bit of drama that was added into the show!

Mental was a GREAT new show that I was told about and watched it weekly until the season finale.
I was wondering when/if it was going to be returning, so went to the internet to see what comments were coming up.
I HOPE IT COMES BACK, as there is very fews on these days with a new concept that captures you attention thoughout the entire show.

I never missed an episode of Mental. I watched all 13, and was bummed when I had to tape two of the shows, to view them later than the night they were actually aired.

YES!!! Please bring back the show, it’s absolutely unlike any other series I’ve ever watched. I actually learned quite a lot about different mental conditions, and recently being diagnosed with bi-polar II, I appreciate the twist this show puts on mental health. It’s hopeful.

I hope they bring The Mental back! I enjoyed it very much and have been watching for it on the t.v. guide only to be disappointed its not airing. What I enjoyed about this show is that gives mental illness a face. So many people suffer from mental illness and are afraid of talking about it because of the stigma associated with it. We need this show with its fresh air approach to this problem in society.
