My family and I found this show on Netflix. I think that they should continue it. I think they may find they have a larger audience from viewers like me and my family that found it late. It’s a fun show, hope they reconsider. Look at Family Guy and its success after being canceled for a year. It’s now a top show around the world.

Rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. Lets just boycott the syfy channel until they bring merlin back.

I was very up set at the ending. Need to bring it back. Kids these days need stories to watch. Merlin was the best show I had the pleasure of watching.

That was literally the most disappointing and upsetting ending i have ever seen. Merlin’s entire purpose since season 1 was to keep Arthur alive. And everybody wanted to have Merlin reveal his magic from the beginning too. They gave us only the time while arthur was dying and then poof, The protagonist fails as the 5th season ends. No view of albien, no view of magic being legalized, no seeing arthur grown up to be the amazing loved king in a time of peace, no Merlin openly using magic, just them ripping any sense of theme from us with that damned truck. I literally layed in my bed for an hour just thinking how horrible that was because it was so upsetting.

STUPID.. I mean do we all just waste hours of our life? To watch 65 episodes!! When in the end Arther just dies and the whole plot is ruined!

I agree with Merriman. What could be in store for Merlin now? Helping Gwen and troops? Get the the ancient religion going again! Wow the ideas are endless. The only thing is are the actors bored with the series. So we move on and try to find another series to watch. To bad BBC is so short sighted.

I havent watched the last ep yet but from what ive heard it’s one of the worst endings ever. Why kill off the characters we love. Is death the only ending the writers could come up with in a world where magic can do the impossible. This seems cheap and careless. Why arent the writters fighting harder for the series? Why not go veronica mars and ask for donations? It’s sad and pointless to promise greatness and give us death. Anyway as you can see this has spoilt my week and left me feeling betrayed and resistant to start any new tv series should the same happen. I gues what the fans want doesnt matter.

I was expecting and knew that king Arthur was to die. The writers of Merlin could had carried the plot out longer before allowing king Arthur’s death. Now that King Arthur is dead why does the series have to end? The title is “The Adventures of Merlin” or “Merlin” Are we to believe Merlin has no life of his own. I feel the writers of Merlin has robbed theirselves and their audience of a good family saga. I will miss Merlin, and hope the writers change their minds that season five is to be the last of “Merlin”.

My heart breaks… I absolutely loved this show. I was swept into this world of fantasy and legends every week. I looked forward to it and I enjoyed it. Now that Arthur finally knows Merlin has magic, it’s a shame we can’t continue to enjoy the show with Merlin’s secret out in the open. Isn’t that what we have been waiting for???

Exactly my feelings. Just watched the final episode and felt disappointed they would show Merlin later in the future but not what happens when he returns to Camelot . So what was the point of calling the show Merlin only to stop at Aurthurs death.
I’m confused.

They could also bring Aurthur back because the dragon said he would rise again when Albion needs him he is the once and FUTURE king

I don’t even need another season, maybe one more episode… Authur returns to Camelot, ALLOWS magic to be practiced, makes Merlin the castle mage and peace throughout all the lands….

I’m so disappointed that there will not be a sixth season of Merlin. It was one of the few TV series that I kept up with and truly enjoyed.

I am truly disappointed that Merlin has been cancelled. It is a rare mix and one of the best programs available in the realm of true fantasy and legend. As I was watching the finale I had no idea that it was truly the final ending of the series. I empathized with Merlin letting go of Arthur. This show will be missed.
