I honestly didn’t expect much but after watching the first four episodes I believe the show is absolutely amazing. It should continue on. If NBC doesn’t keep it I most certainly hope that BBC keeps producing it. It is worth paying the extra money to get the imported DVDs from the UK.

On a side note. I thought they could have picked a prettier actress for Gwenhwyfar. Morgana is gorgeous.

Great show. Keep it up BBC. It is like a Harry Potter that doesn’t suck.

You should not cancel Merlin!! The show was great and every one i knew loved it when they watched it. You probably don’t get that many viewers, because I and a TON of people couldn’t find it and what time it was on. i didn’t even know the second season was on until i went on the web site!!!!!!SO THANKS A LOT !!!!!Advertise more and you will get more viewers – I guaranty it!!!!

Keep this show on..What a relief to watch something other than reality shows and crime dramas…This was a keeper and I cant believe these networks when they dont get the high ratings at first…I agree with some other viewers…Your time slots were changing and no one knew where or when it was on…Dont blame the show..The show was entertaining and I looked forward to watching it every week…Kill the reality shows and crime dramas make me sick…this was great family entertainment…BRING IT BACK

Please keep this show. my sister and i love watching it. I think one of the reasons that they dont have many viewers is no one knows when it is on. i have been trying to find when it is one for a while know. We had to watch the whole first season on Youtube and the second one on some other website. if you tell people when it is on i guarantee more people will watch it.
Please keep this show, it is such a pleasure wathing it with family.

If anyone connected with NBC is reading this, pay attention. Obviously, Merlin had its followers. And I, my husband, my sister, her husband, my friends and their husbands all watched it faithfully. A lot of programs had a slow start in the beginning and went on to be award-winning and very popular shows. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, NBC??? HOW COULD YOU CANCEL THIS ENTERTAINING PROGRAM WITHOUT GIVING IT A FAIR CHANCE??

if you cancel this show i swear i will never watch another nbc show in my life. i love this show so much! and its fun to curl up on the couch with my dog and cat and watch this show, great story lines and good plot, keeps the audience coming back for more, the writers did a lot of research on Arthurian legend (which i study) to come this far please keep this show on!

Please do not cancel Merlin. This show is exactly the escape everyone needs. Everything on TV now days is far to serious and depressing. I don’t want to watch people stressed over the day to day issues we all face. Merlin is the perfect escape from the norm. It does exactly what TV is should do, entertain and transport you somewhere else. NBC bring Merlin back.

This is one show I looked forward to this past summer. It had intrigue, passion, fun, tragedy, loyalty and mystery. The special effects were better than good, and I have grown attached to the characters. Kudos to the BBC! I sincerely hope a US network will wake up and bring good, clean TV back to those of us who are starving for change.

merlin is very refreshing from the humdrum shows. given half a chance on primetime it is a sleeper that will perform better than some of the best out there now. try it on prime time. give it a chance to prove itself. nbc will be glad it did.airing it in the summer was not a great time. I hit on it by accident and loved every episode. the characters are great. don’t give up after a summer showing. It is a show for everyone .

DO NOT CANCEL MERLIN!!! In case you haven’t noticed, all the comments are from parents who are having a hard time finding good, clean, quality programming for their kids and thenselves to watch. We are all getting sick of the ‘reality’ programs! They are no more ‘reality’ than the man in the moon! And not at all appropriate for children to watch. No wonder NBC is the only channel that I only watch just ONE show- Merlin! Listen to your viewers for once–we are tired of sex, violence, vulgar lnguage, crime, etc. You used to have more family oriented fare… I’ll bet you had a lot more viewers!

I would love to see more of this show. I caught it for the first time while vacationing in Ireland this summer and absolutely fell in love with the show! The witty banter between Merlin and pretty much everyone is awesome. We also don’t have too many period shows in primetime. I really want to see this show take off…with so much potential, please give it a chance!

Please please please don’t cancel Merlin. I love it. It’s a wonderful show. Even though they’ve done some interesting changes with the original characters of Camelot…
We need a touch of Fantasy SOMEWHERE, I didn’t even know about it before it aired. Maybe if you advertised it a little more, people would watch!
And the show itself is delightful. Merlin’s character and the other main characters, are just becoming truly three dimensional. Please give it more time!!!

Merlin is a terrific, wholesome, quality show that definitely deserves to be brought back! I was immediately riveted to the intriguing plot and the adorable characters! I adore the hints of relationships and I love the drama and suspense it has! Each episode is a brilliant excuse to duck out of reality, even if just for a little while. I recommended this to my friends and they instantly became hooked! BRING BACK MERLIN!

Merlin is a fantastic show. I reccomeded it my grandchildren and friends children. It is the basis for humanity and civilization. I like the way it the program depicts the stuggle between Christianity and the Druids. There are so many life lessons for the kids. This programing is refreshing, educational, whimsey and so far from the cheap (morally and financially) reality shows today.
PLEASE KEEP THIS PROGRAM! I watch it faithfully and it is Not on tonight, which is why I am on this web site.

Merlin was one of those shows I stumbled over on a Sunday night. What a pleasnt surprise to see a quality show on a Sunday night. With all the reality shows crammed down out throat we finally get to view a realy great series. I do hope that others will take the time to see what this series is all about. Creative stories and exceptional acting roles. I give the series season one an A+ and hope season 2 will be aired here in the fall also.

@mary: I think you’re referring to a UK article that incorrectly reports that the show will begin airing in the US this Fall. As you know, it’s already aired here. NBC hasn’t announced any plans to bring it back for season two thus far.

I found out yesterday that Merlin will be returning in the fall. It had never occured to me that it would’nt. Then it dawned on me that it might not. I searched for the website in a panic and was relieved to find out it would be back after football season. I’m sure all the fantasy lovers out there are watching or soon will be. Merlin is such an imaginative show. I love the twist on the whole story line and the characters. I find myself riveted to the stories week after week. Now there is nothing to watch on Sunday night except reality shows. It is becoming rediculous that is why Merlin was such a breath of fresh air. Hope to be watching it again soon.

Merlin is the best show I watch now. Special the story. It explain how things the way they were comparing to his future adult life when he become who he was. And the people in the show are also doing an excellent job. NBC should put that $$ on the side and threat this show as long term investment. The rating METER is not always right. There are many stupid shows that they kept for some stupid reasons. Give this show a chance to mature.
