It was an okay start for Ashley Judd and company. Former occupant Wipeout had been attracting a 1.5 in the demo and it’s of course important to remember that the debut was opposite American Idol. In the fall, Charlie’s Angels also debuted in the 8pm timeslot with a 2.1 in the demo and was cancelled not too long afterward because the numbers dwindled downward. Will the same happen to Missing? Stay tuned.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I have never so committed to a TV series as Missing….I truly hope the network reconsiders…such a bummer…especially with some of the other TV shows on the air that should be cancelled..
This show was fast paced and exciting I hope you change your mind.
I truly hope ABC will reconsider or another network will pick this show up. It has been a long time since a show has come along that grabs you like Missing. It was way better than any reality TV show. And if ABC doesn’t reconsider or another network doesn’t pick it up, then that was terrible writing for the last scene of the Series…. We don’t know whether she is alive or dead. Even other shows that ran for several seasons didn’t end in a cliff hanger…. Please reconsider!
A lot of people thought it was a movie not a tv series when they were advertising the show. I think they should air it over the summer. I am sure you will pick up a bigger audience. That is how I discovered LOST and look how that turned out
I loved Missing it was the only show I looked forward to watching each week please I want another station to pick up this show it is amazing I want to know what happens next so upset
Great show. Do the ratings count those of us that watch on I Pads using the ABC app?
Any way another channel could pick it up? Or ABC reconsider? I want to see Season 2!

Missing is a great show. I have not scene a new show that caught my interest like missing in a long time. I believe the second season will show a significant jump in ratings.
I can’t believe this show is being cancelled. It was the best show ever. I watched it every week. And now with the finale episode – we won’t know what happened. Very bad decision to cancel.
I cannot believe this series is cancelled. Do the ratings take into account people that DVR the program? My kids and I LOVE this show and I haven’t even told them yet it is cancelled! My son just watched the last episode and we said we can’t wait until season two. I was googling to find out when it would air and I saw this. VERY disappointing. I really hope another station picks it up!
I loved this show and the season finale leaves you with Mom missing!! And we do not get to find out what happened. That just stinks!! But so typical of network TV. It just makes me wonder how long people will put up with this?! Harry’s Law was cancelled not because of ratings they had great ratings but because the demographics where not young enough. REALLY?! OH my!! Guess it truly is time for me to start using my time more wisely and not including TV as part of that entertainment. I loved Missing! Hate to see it go! All the actors and actresses on the show were amazing!
I finally found a show that is worth watching & it’s cancelled. I’m soooo very disappointed in the shows that people watch & the networks keep. Missing is by far one of the BEST shows written. It deserves another chance so please bring it back. All the actors in the series were GREAT!!!!
Ashley Judd did a fantastic job in her roll as ex-agent and mother trying to find her son. If this was the ending of the series, I loved it. I was amazed as she fought, as any mother would, only with more strength (even with stunt doubles) than I ever could. If this was a mini-series, it was well-written, concise and very exciting.
Please do not cancel the show Missing, it is by far one of the great shows on TV.
Move the night or time 8pm is early to watch.
I can’t believe Missing is cancelled. Please reinstate this wonderful show. I looked forward to watching this show every week.
i loved missing and cant believe that it is cancelled. Please reinstate this series.
Thanks
Agree with all yhe comments above. This was a fantastic series and well written. The locales and actors were great. Please bring it back for another season and give it another chance . . . Really wantvto see whatbhappened to Becca. It really was quality television. Far better than all the reality crap shows that are on these days and it gets cancelled. What a bone headed decision.
