It was an okay start for Ashley Judd and company. Former occupant Wipeout had been attracting a 1.5 in the demo and it’s of course important to remember that the debut was opposite American Idol. In the fall, Charlie’s Angels also debuted in the 8pm timeslot with a 2.1 in the demo and was cancelled not too long afterward because the numbers dwindled downward. Will the same happen to Missing? Stay tuned.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Missing TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

ABC never gives their new shows a chance to gain an audience. I liked Life On Mars, Detroit 187 & Missing all cancelled in1st season. I will not watch another new show that they put on, because they will just cancell it. I hope that another network will pick it up. Shame on you ABC!! If I knew how to start a FB campaign to save the show I would.

Why are you cancelling Missing and Ringer, the only good programs you had on your network. The next thing you’ll be doing is cancelling the news. Maybe you ought to think about cancelling some of those ridiculous ads that you have on TV.

Why are you cancelling all the good programs next season and bringing back all the ones that nobody watches. You could at least renew Ringer and Missing.

PLEASE don’t cancel this show! It reminds be a little bit of “Alias” in that there is always a twist…it keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I find myself yelling at the TV! Keep “Missing” on the air!!

I thing this is a great show. Exceptionally acting and well written. I would be very upset if this show is not renewed. Ashley Judd should be nominated for a Emmy

I think that the show is very good. They can only have her “barely miss” getting her son so many times before it gets silly. They will have to change the plot alittle.

There are few shows that have a intellectual
concept. Please leave a few shows for the one’s
that injoy the talents of professional actors and
writers. I have had it up to all of my senses with
ghost hunting, paranormal dogs, cats and kids.
Also reality shows are about as unreal as you can
plainly observe. It is all about following the money.
Cheap actors equal big profits. Do you not have any
moral civilities at all?

Unfortunately, networks do not do a great job of keeping shows on long enough for them to be “found” or in advertising them well enough to be “found”. We were excited about the show and waited for it’s arrival. On the night it was suppose to “premier” in our area, we turned on the TV and it was not on. We thought “oh, well, guess it’s not coming on after all”. Then 4 shows into the season, I hear by accident from a friend “Oh, did you catch the great new show “Missing”". “Well. I tried to” I told her “when is it on”. Same night as advertised but a different time slot. Okay, who has time for this, really? So, my advice to network execs is this “Do what you say you are going to do when you say you are going to do it? Okay?”

We have really enjoyed this challenging series. In a way, its like a good Robert Ludlum book, only the protagonist is female. It has kept us guessing ( who is behind the kidnapping?), surprised us ( so, her husband IS alive), shocked us( he shot his mother!!!!???!!). It is an intelligently well written show that showcases places around the world. We feel like world travelers as we watch..seeing places we will probably never visit. Ashley Judd is fierce as a mom trying to save her child. All of the cast portrays their characters with strong conviction and we love watching the well developed plot lines. The writers of this show are fantastic. We love the mystery of it and would really appreciate it if it is renewed so we can continue to come home from our hard day of work and then realize its Thursday and Missing is on. What a great way to end a day! please keep Missing on TV. Please renew. Thank you

Please renew Missing. My husband and I sit glued and transfixed to the tv watching the excellent performances by all on the show. We don’t like the bad guys(or women) but the story is exceptionally well written and riveting. We moved here from England and are familiar with the different locales, so we enjoy the scenery from our own experiences, while we were living abroad.
We would feel a great loss in our viewing scedule if we could not enjoy watching Missing.
We are planning to buy the DVD so we can sit and watch the entire 10 episodes again.
PLEASE RENEW MISSING !!!!
