This was not a good start for Monday Mornings. It was the lowest TNT scripted debut in more than a year and lost 40% of lead-in Dallas’ audience.

Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.

I love Monday Mornings and hope it is renewed for another season. My sister-in-law also watches it and is hoping for a renewal. I think it needs better, not necessarily more, promotion to reach a larger audience and at least one more season so it can spread by word of mouth. I normally don’t watch medical shows but this one caught my attention (because it was on after my favorite, Dallas) so I tuned in. The title of the show is not that catchy. Most people dread Monday a.m. so I get the reasoning for the title, their meeting takes place Monday Morning (dread the meeting which would make their Monday a.m.’s even worse) but the title isn’t that catchy.

Have to agree with you Pauline. This is simply one of the best new shows on television. But you have a definite point with regard to the title. In addition, it’s time slot make for difficult viewing, at least here on the west coast, but once people get to know the show they will make accommodations like I did. I can’t see this on a CBS or NBC but could fit quite nicely on ABC or Fox. However, if TNT puts in the work they can find a way to better get the word out. I missed the first episode only because I hadn’t heard about it and when I did the title, “Monday Mornings” didn’t grab me. Fortunately, my sister recorded it and later raved about it. I saw the recording and haven’t missed an episode since. I think this is typical or close to typical and TNT would be wise to consider it when considering advertising for this show. They have a winner but only if enough people know about it. I’ve done my share by spreading the word. Most people I know, who’ve actually seen the show, are doing the same. Here’s another problem, Pauline, the season is over and unfortunately out of sight out of mind. TNT should rerun the show now and try to build audience in the off season.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this television series!
It touches something in the human psyche that allows us
to see doctors and hospital staff as being more human,
more relatable to, and takes them off the ‘pedestal’ that we
put them on. The characters on this series are real, and
the actors who portray them are outstanding!
Ving Ramsay is absolutely fantastic! Every hospital should
have a gentle giant like him!!
I look forward to my Monday Morning episodes!
    WHY only 10 episodes though?
PLEASE bring Monday Mornings back for another season!
It should be on a major network however as it has real *STAR*
    power to attract fans!

OMG – this show has the fastest growing audience – I told 3 people about it at work – my whole office is hooked on it! 60+ people are talking Monday Mornings every Tuesday – we love this show – We even started texting 311. . . . . to call a meeting hahah give it one more season at least!

First I want to state that I have never been a fan of medical shows, but that has changed since the airing of Monday Mornings. Recently I had back surgery, and I do understand the show is just that a show that entertains as well as radiates compassion!! I wish the neurosurgeon who performed my procedure was half as informative and compassionate as are members of Monday Mornings!! So if my opinion counts for something please do not cancel the show, because it lifts my spirits when I watch it. And lastly it allows me to find hope in that there are some in the medical field who do really care!! Yes I know its just a show as stated earlier, but in my view it is what I call GOOD CLEAN TV.

A really good show, excellent cast it should be renew and maybe given a different slot in the week. I personally watch Monday Mornings on demand (I do not miss one) because I watch a network series Monday at 10:00pm.

  7. Jody says

One of the best medical shows I’ve ever seen. I work in surgery in a hospital and find it very realistic and entertaining – not like most medical shows. Don’t cancel.

  8. Jim Brai says

Monday Mornings is one of the best shows on television right now. I REALLY like this show. The writing and acting is top notch and I would be supremely disappointed to see this show cancelled. We wouldn’t even be thinking such thoughts if this show was on a major network. I’m wondering if Kelly even tried to pitch it to the top three networks.

  9. Shirley Smith says

Please, please keep this show on. It is really good and has improved the medical show above all. Renew!!!!!

  10. peggy says

Monday Mornings should not be cancelled. It is one of the best TV dramas on the air. The problem is the network did not promote the show so no one new about it. I happen to see it after seeing something about it on a talk show. I mentioned it to all my friends who had not heard of it. Possible because it was not on one of the major networks where I believe it would have taken off. Most of us are sick of reality TV and need a show with excellent actors like those found on Monday Morning. Please save this show it is a dying breed.
