Get ready for more stories from the other side. ABC Family announced today that they have renewed their reality series Monica the Medium for a second season.
The show, which premiered on August 25 of this year, follows Monica Ten-Kate, a Penn State student who is also a medium. The series’ first season was ordered for 10 episodes and its season finale will air on October 27.

ABC Family today announced the network has picked up a second season of its original reality series “Monica the Medium,” produced by Dave Caplan’s Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate TV. The first season finale, where Monica does her first group reading with mothers who have lost their children, airs tomorrow Tuesday, October 27th at 8:00PM ET/PT on ABC Family. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016.
“Monica has changed lives for the better and given comfort and closure to family members while exploring her unique ability,” said Karey Burke, Executive Vice President Programming and Development, ABC Family. “She connects as well with our audience as she does with Spirit.”
