I have 118 episodes on DVR and watch one of them almost every day. In the Monk finale, Randy left for a new job in New Jersey and to live with Sharona. I think the most natural event to bring the cast back together and to spark a feature movie would be the news that Randy and Sharona are getting married. Monk and the rest would travel to New Jersey, and there they could get involved in a case that Randy is working on or that happens after they arrive. Just my thought.

Monk was a really great show and one of the funniest and most intelligent shows ever! The cast didn’t just work well together they fit each other perfectly even after the change from Sharona to Natalie. The show actually made you use your brain to think about the clues. I would love to see the show come back or a movie made. I don’t feel that a new show or a movie if handled correctly would hurt the series finally, I also think the new series would get great ratings. Any network would be doing a smart thing if it brought back Monk as a new series that picked up from the finally of the original series. A great twist for a new Monk series would be Sharona and Natalie becoming detectives, working together and, using Adrian Monk as a consultant. A new series would make a lot of people very happy and it would make any studio and network A LOT OF MONEY!!!!!

I would love to see another Monk flick just as though Sharona is there. Letting her go was a mistake and shortly after I quit watching. I just don’t like Traylor Howard as Natalie. The show wasn’t originally written with her in it and it didn’t feel as relaxed as it was before. Bitty asked for more money and she was let go instead of paying her for a hit show at the time. The rattings went down after Bitty left and went back up for the last show when she came back.

Would love to see the cast together again. Particularly Monk and Natalie and Julie interacting – Monk’s reaction to Julie was invariably hilarious! Rest of cast Captain, Lt. Disher were also just great. Not sure how to get them all back together tho’, not with Randy leaving with Sharona… but heck, they got the x-file’s folks together again, so somebody’s probably got a good idea… hoping.

One of my favorite shows ever. My girlfriend and I would look forward to every friday, not because we were done with classes for the week and to go out, but to watch Monk. Even though I would love to see a comback, I think this was one of those shows that ended perfectly and had closure. I don’t want them to ruin a perfect finish.

I miss this show so much. Nothing else on TV even begins to compare with the writing of Monk. My 16 year old daughter and I would watch it together – it’s one of the few shows we can watch and enjoy. It was witty, sad, clever… Is there any chance this show could come back?

A “MONK” MOVIE?… ABSOLUTELY “YES!”

The two-part finale of the 125-episode run of the MONK TV series was, in a word, brilliant!

The unexpected poignant twist in the final scenes certainly should be perceived as an invitation to a follow-up movie… or two… or…

If this is a poll to be submitted to the USA Network, or to Universal, or to Touchtone… please cast the votes of my wife and myself as a resounding YES!

Congratulations to the actors, the writers, and everyone who was associated with the creation of what will almost certainly be regarded as a true classic among television programs, and will be seen by generations to come!

I agree about Natalie’s boyfriend (but, he was kind of a unrequited love, and if you like men in uniforms …).

I didn’t like the way it ended for Ted Levine (Cpt. Stottlemeyer). Maybe in the movie he can be divorced once again an d “looking for love”. She will not be a good policeman’s wife. He’s much sexier when he’s love-lorn. Can’t wait to see him in Shutter Island. I wonder if he’ll have the mustache (which I love)!

I loved Monk and was very sorry to see it go! USA has some great shows but aside from Burn Notice, this one is my favorite!!!

It was a very unusual show and it always kept my interest, and I am still watching reruns.

I didn’t like Natalie’s bf either. They could give her a good one when they make their movie. I loved that Sharona & Disher paired up. They could make a series of that, since he became chief of police in NJ. It would be great to see him be his own boss, and have his crazy theories actually work out.

Monk is the greatest show in the history of television.
It is very unique and intriguing. I started watching in the beginning
of season 3 and since then I haven’t missed an episode! I miss the show
and this may sound crazy, but last night I had a dream I saw a preview
for a monk movie and it was awesome!!!! Then I woke up………/=
Seriously, they need to make a movie, with all the original characters!
That would make the world a better place. I don’t like Natalie’s “boyfriend”
he just seems cheesy and fake, sorry!

Thank goodness for SLEUTH network. They are showing the Monk series reruns. And plenty of them. Now I can get them on the DVD recorder I didn’t have during the first seasons of Monk. Still, I’d like to see Monk run as long as some old series such as Gunsmoke, Hee Haw, etc. did. Over ten years I believe. I’d watch it for 100 more years. I just love every single regular character on the show. I especially love how they kept the same young lady to play Natalie’s daughter clear to the end of the show, and had her become a really great adult instead of having her “rebel” as a lot of series have done with the kids in their shows.

Sadly I only came upon it recently online and was sorry to learn that the series had ended especially as it was the kind of program that both entertained and engaged its audience. I hope at the very least they will make a feature movie and then perhaps ressurect the series again

Traylor was in a series a few years ago that started out as “Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place” then later was shortened to “Two Guys and a Girl.” It was really funny.

This tv show is one of the fiew best shows ever, i sow in my life. Monk arrived Portugal, more than a year ago, by cable, and it made me very happy. In spite of smiles and tears, i learn alot with the diferent cases and situations related to OCD, that i didn´t know about. Personally, i think show must go on till season 10, ( to be even, like Monk would`ve wanted )! Deap down, i think that cast and crew are dying to be together again. GO FOR IT! I loved the entire cast! Tony is a gentleman and Traylor is not just only a beautiful and interesting woman, but, she can and she knows how to do much more and better as an actriss!

Monk was one of the few shows on TV that a family could watch. It was witty, heartwarming and a great who-done-it. Yes, make movies. I prefer movies to a series. They have a begining and an end. They don’t leave off in the middle of a story when accountants decide a show is not making enough money.

From concept to cast, I don’t know of any other show that rivals Monk, and I have enjoyed watching the series so much, that I think it would be kind of a challenge to cram it up in 90minutes or so. I think it would be best to have a series of movies like x-files maybe. but certainly whatever works would be more than welcome, … I already miss the cast and especially Tony.

I was really unprepared for the impressive ending to Monk. I love the fact that the show doesn’t end with us finding who killed Trudy, rather that took a bit of a back seat to the second story line, which is a surprise to us all, but a heartwarming ending.
I liked Traylor alot, but I miss Sharona. Thank you for bringing her back and renewing the “love” interest.
We love you and miss you take care until next time, and there is ALWAYS A NEXT TIME!!!

We have been watching Monk from day one and it is one of very few TV shows our family watches. Our son, 5 years, has also watched Monk which is another great thing about it – you can watch it and be on pins and needles but you kid can watch it too – it isn’t too violent. I cried at the closure of the last episode. We vote for more Monk and it would be nice if it were on regular TV for those of us who don’t watch cable TV anymore.

I expected to be disappointed in the final episodes…..was gratefully surprised. This cast captured my heart; I would be grateful for periodic (annual) updates in the form of a Monk single episode to to give us a (hopefully) upbeat peak at the unfolding of Monk and “family)’s unfolding lives.

Of course I’d love a movies! Monk is a so complex and amazing character and all the cast were always so great in terms of interaction to each other that I’m sure it would be easy to make a great success. And a possible plot for it could be one of Lee Goldberg’s books. He’s been doing an excellent job creating intriguing stories for these wonderful characters. I vote for a movies or at least some TV reunions, maybe in one year. Monk has turned into a classic, so all the fans like really expect a return soon.

My whole family would LOVE it if there was a movie!!!

This was just about the Only show that my 9 year old could watch with me. I didn’t have to worry about covering her ears or her eyes. She was so sad tonight that it was over!!

I reassured her that with 125 espisodes I’m sure she could rewatch them and still be entertained!

I would of course love a movie, however, I would also like to see the show continue on weekly tv. There is nothing wrong with continuing the show now that we know how Trudy died and what happened to cause her death. Monk could keep some of his OCD traits to continue the comedy of his Monk character. This is a really GOOD weekly show, most of the characters have decent personal morals; the show is not trashy like House… I would love to see Monk become another M.A.S.H. and stay around longer than its already 8 years, and I would also love to see it become a household show for decades after it is really over as M.A.S.H. Eight years is a long time I understand, but it could be longer. Just keep it as clean as you have and have good writers as you have had thus far. The finale opened up the plot so Monk doesn’t have to be in each show, but let’s keep remembering it is his character that keeps people coming back each week!

I enjoy watching Monk. His quarkiness is just one reason to love it. All the cast are fun to watch also. A very good family show to tune into every week. My husband and I will miss it. Thanks for the great entertainment!
