Moonlight ain’t cheese, it’s utterly brilliant and shows a true vampire in the modern age! Sure it might not be graphic like True Blood but the depth of story and the characters are 100% better! There has to be a second season. Why do these networks always cancel good shows? Firefly, Enterprise, Moonlight, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Rome and many many more!

Blood was boiling when the show was cancelled. If anyone at CBS is smart enough to capitalise on the momentum of vampire shows,movies etc..they will gain more if they continue on with season 2. After Moonlight, can’t even compare True Blood or Twilight. Mick and Beth-best chemistry on screen. That should be enough for season 2.

Moonlight was an awesome show. I agree with everyone else…no one watches CBS..get real. Moonlight is about Vampires. A show more suitable to be aired on SYFY. Im sure that is the real reason for the poor audience. Please bring it back.

Hi,

Im based in the UK and we always get the US shows after they have been aired in the US. I think it is a little short sighted for TV companies to ignore the international ratings for their shows.

Its a real shame that this program has been axed- this has been the best TV show for a very long time- it is absolutely capitivating. This show obviously has a market and could have been huge- it should never have been cut down in its infancy!

I think this show is far better that rival True Blood, yet this show continued to subsequent series, which I struggle to understand. Not that i’m saying True Blood is a bad show, far from it, but it does lack the supreme quality of Moonlight.

Bring back Moonlight!

Kept looking and looking for this to return. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED that CBS chose to take it off. SO TIRED OF all the same old same old. Sitcoms aren’t my bag and never have been. Syfy is BIG and it seems like all we get is crime scene dramas and reality crap. I’m so sick of them. Guess we could boycott and get on the internet and just play games?

Moonlight…is probably the best tv series that i have ever watched…it kept me interested and i love watching the episodes over and over again…would you please consider bringing moonlight back onto air? it was pretty much amazing…and i am very disappointed that it had to be canceled. i really loved it and always looked forward to it. I think they should bring back Moonlight! I mean it was a great show I loved it, and i would watch it no matter what channel it came on,but I never could keep track of what channel it was on…no one watches CBS anymore, or at least i dont. CW would have been a good channel for it to air on or TNT? I dont think i have seen a show like this on TBS? that would have been a different Style of show for them. Sci Fi would be good also…But none the less its an amazeing show that should have a second season

I agree….my wife and I watch this whenever it has come on syfy…lately with the all day’er on SyFy…anxious for the next season…just did a search and found out it was canceled! WE DON’T WATCH CBS!! No wonder ratings are so low……Syfy is big….it’s on satellite….CBS represents the old days of 3 or 4 channels to watch….so don’t judge the ratings just because nobody wants to watch to good old channels of 2, 6, 8 or 12……

I never even heard of moonlight until syfy showed it today! And I’m like OMG I MUST HAVE season 2! But now I see they canceled it! I watch ALOT of t.v and have never seen one commercial for this series. Then they want to know why they didn’t have tons of ratings! Meanwhile all I hear all day is “Ghost whisperere” (no i don’t watch it…. Medium was okay but got boring so imo this show is a similar type.) Anyway, PLEASE bring back moonlight I beg you!

I waited each week for Moonlight, over here in Australia. I am so annoyed that other crap drama’s were behind some of the reasons for its cancellation. Now that the whole “Vampire” Craze is out.. CBS should reconsider it. Imagine – multi-million dollar franchise for Twilight – and it was pathetic. It causes a revolution though – vampires are now so cool. So bring it back, imagine the ratings.. but I suppose the advertisement needs to be strong because it has been so long since the last season.

If I was CBS I would bring it back.

Everyone DO NOT FRET – There may be a movie that encompasses the whole second season on the rise to the cinemas. Fingers CROSSED!!

No more “Moonlight”, no more decent T.V. to watch! . “Moonlight” just oozes quality. It’s intelligently crafted, has end of your seat excitement, great plot lines, sublime acting from it’s three leads, and searing romantic tension in every episode – TV for grown ups. This show got me straight onto the net to buy the DVD as I couldn’t wait ’til the end of the series to find out what was going to happen next – and I still watch the episodes as they come on t.v! Glanced at the vastly inferior “TrueBlood” and just can’t see what the big deal is when compared to “Moonlight”, and yet this crass, smutty vampire saga gets the works, in your face publicity , chat show promotion. If someone had deigned to actually publicise “Moonlight” on UK t.v. then maybe the ratings would have gone through the roof, and this stupidity would never have ocurred. JUST BRING IT BACK!

After catching it for the first time on a re-run I’m now totally addicted and it’s over, just like that. This can’t be happening!!! The developing saga and vampire love story running through it has so much milage and Mick and Beth’s on screen chemistry is totally addictive.

It’s one of those shows that needs to be watched from the start, but with all the reruns since 2007 the audience will be even bigger than it was originally. This show is now back on Sky in the UK so thousands more addicts are being born. Once you’re hooked then it’s impossible to stop watching – Season 2 will be huge. Cancelling this for ever makes no sense.

Moonlight is amazing. This was a really good show, a detective vampire was genius! CBS please rethink your decision to cancel this show and bring Moonlight back. This is a really good show that you didn’t give a chance. I find it rather disappointing that networks like CBS would rather cut good dramas like Moonlight, the Unit, et all and instead continue to show sorry, lame and FAKE reality shows.

I looked forward to both shows mentioned above, only now to find out they will not be back, yet they show the Medium…

It is a sad sad state in society when people would rather WATCH fake reality rather than LIVE it.

Come on networks, wake up and smell the coffee, get rid of all the fake crap and put some good shows back on!

Moonlight season 1 is showin now in the uk for the 2nd time on virgin1 so why show the 1st season again if they are not following it with season 2 thats stupid !!!!!! i have been waiting for what seems like forever for season 2 and am absolutely gutted its been cancelled!!!!!!! Are you stubbing or is it that you just don’t bouther reading these emails I know you care alot about the rateings but we don’t what we do care about is Moonlight or you care about is money if you care that much about money you should make an new season because what I think is that people don’t look at every tv channel so their have’nt seen it yet I’m sure if you make one or two more seasons lots of people will notice and show and start to get hocked on Moonlight just like we are that way you will get much more people watching Moonlight and an lot more money of the show. Trust me I did’nt notice their was an show called Moonlight untill it was repeated on the tv this year 2009 thats 2 years after it first apeared on tv I have the DVD now. I have also watched it every day on the internet since then I have spent time watching Moonlight for weeks and have also spent time writing 5 emails to you all for nothing couse you don’t give an dam.
