Moonlight is one of the best shows that has kept my interest. When you think you have figured it out, somthing changes and there is a different outcome. It is the most up to date vampire show to come out. I looked forward to Friday night to come so that I could wach it.

I agree with alot of other fans, BRING MOONLIGHT BACK. It’s not because of the vampire craze that it should be brought back, it’s because of how different the show is even though it is a vampire show. It had a great story line and I’m glad that it is aimed more for adults instead of young teens like some of the other vampires shows are. But, of course the main reason is because of Alex O’Loughlin.

I wonder how much business is not measured in a series that leaves itself only in re-runs or YouTube episodes uploaded by the faithful? I’ve only recently seen episodes of Moonlight. First, on a network called Chiller that ran about 8 hours worth of episodes. (I really did have to go to bed after falling off the couch onto the carpet and the dog did mouth to mouth.) Second, I looked it up on You Tube as a search and discovered several people had faithfully uploaded a great deal of the series. I found my self addicted, and, apparently, so did about 25,000 other viewers. Surely, Moonlight benefits the many advertising and marketing tools You Tube offers. And, I wonder if producers count the faithful viewers on You Tube or TV.com in their numbers games?

I’m from Asia and they just started showing Moonlight here through the Sci-fi channel. I love this show and so do a lot of my co-workers. I’m sure more people from this part of the world will come to love Moonlight, only to be disappointed by its cancellation. I feel it’s unfair. The show had a relatively good and steady following in the US, and it’s a wonder why they canceled such a great show. I do hope that they will reconsider and produce at least a second season or a movie to tie up all the loose ends of the show. For the old fans and for the new ones like me who are just discovering the magic of Moonlight.

I can not believe Moonlight will not be back. What was the network thinking! The actors are now in other series so getting them back is impossible. But with creative writers they can save Moonlight with Nick had to leave the city and replace him with another vamp and keep all the other orginal cast. Lets see how smart the network is and the writers. Time wil tell.

I had turned on all of my friends to the show, and they were equally addicted and excited about watching a show that intriqued us all ! There’s nothing else of interest or close to comparison in a great story line as Moonlight meant to all of us. We’re not giving up on hope! It seems like my husband and I start to like a program and cbs cancels it. Between you and syfy, we have lost all our favorite programs. Whats with this? We have even lost Harpers Island. I love this show, i hope cbs reconsiders and brings this back again! With the hit of Twilight which in some ways the love story of Mick & Beth is similar to that of Edward and Bella. CBS should take its cue that this is one great story and needs full support.

I agree with amy from may 8th. i didnt know about moonlight and if i did i definately would have watched it. it was just lack of advertising in my case because i watch things on that channel all the time. my grandma let me borrow the first season and i couldnt stop watchin it. please bring it back, me and the other fans were left without a lot of answers and we are dying!!!!! you need to bring it back sooner than later.

I just found out about this show 2 weeks ago. I looked up the episodes and from the first one, I was hooked. I found myself staying up into the wee hours of the morning(and with three kids, between 6months and 4 1/2 yrs that is no small feat!) simply because I was too hooked to stop watching. I began ravenously searching for information on the second season the moment I finished episode 16, and was devestated to find that the show had been canceled! Atleast it ended on a happy note, BUT still, there are so many unanswered questions, and they finally end up together, just for the show to end! You dont get to see their relaitonship when they finally get together. From what I hear the ratings were good before, already. BUT I think the show simply did not get enough advertising. I just barely heard about it for goodness sakes! I think if you brought it back, and put out more advertising, it would be through the roof of ratings. Especially with the Twilight series uprising, the vampire effect is coming back into play, and popularity is returning in full force. Give it another try, just one season, I bet you wouldnt be sorry! Your fans definitely wouldnt!

It’d be hard to believe that someone wouldn’t bring back moonlight aftere all the hard work the fans have been doing. I think it’d be worth it to just make a second season, at the very (VERY) Least to use that second season to end the series. But it would be just…Horrible to just end it like that with all those die-hard fans trying so hard to bring it back. There really isn’t any justice in the world if it doesn’t come back on the air with a second season. MOONLIGHT is the best show that has happened to TV in many years. There are only a few good shows on tv today and Moonlight is at the top of the list. You need to think that Mick and Beth had the chemistry that viewers love it…CBS should BRING it back the moonlight another sesson because we viewers keep on imaging what happened to thier realtionship if Mick will turn Beth to his wolrd or he will continue looking the way how to be a human or he will just stay vampire to protect Beth and those people asking his help….It’s a nice good story, nice actor and actress i wish CBS read all the comments to this shows and figure it out to return it to air or some channel pick this shows as one of the great TV series… WE VIEWERS REALLY LOVE THIS “MOONLIGHT”

Please -Please-Please bring the Moonlight series back again!!! This is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched – the vampire theme always extremely popular – even more so now with the outstanding success of the ‘Twilight’ book series and most recently the Movie/s based on these books.
There continues to be an amazing fan base for ‘Moonlight’ – just on myspace alone there are countless Moonlight tribute and fan pages – and what we all want is to see this series brought back again and given a fair chance to prove itself to be a success.-Until then – we fans will have to try and make do with watcihng thie on’ine episodes and the numerous you tube videos for the show. Please bring back the tv show moonlight . It wasn’t given a fair chance. The way the show ended left us hanging with wanting more now that Mick and Beth have found each other. The chemistry between those two is amazing. This show even got an award for new drama in 2008. I believe the show would be even stronger, now that other vampire movies have come out . What a bloody mistake to cancel Moonlight.

From reading the critics reviews Moonlight didn’t have much of a chance.

I wonder if we compare the critic’s reviews of the first season of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” how similar and unflattering the comments would be.

Really, the first season of Buffy was pretty shaky, and didn’t start to flow until mid to late second season. But it was given a chance at life and look at the global monster that show became. Not to mention the dollars it made for the network!

Moonlight was an interesting concept (certainly for the millions of viewers who watched it) and the show could have gone in any direction it writers wanted it to.

Reminds me of other BAD decisions by Network executives that canceled shows that had a HUGH potential e.g. Firefly was one I couldn’t believe, and what was the other little show from the late 60’s Star something, Star… oh yeah Star trek, wow what loser exec would back a dead-end show like that.

Bring back Moonlight it deserves better treatment.

I am so with all of you. Although I am a new fan of Moonlight, I watched all of the first season so that I could catch up for Season 2. Only to find out that it was cancelled! No way….bring it back. It is my favorite show. This show was different. We all want different. CBS said this show wouldn’t draw new fans. Hello? I am one! How can you NOT believe that CBS took this great show off the air??? First they canceled Close To Home, #1 in the 9pm time slot because too many older people [over 25 that is] were watching. Then they took off Moonlight for the same reason. What did we get instead? Reruns and that god awful stupid show that replaced Moonlight-it was so great I cant even remember its name nor watched after 2 episodes. Thanks to my Dish DVR I could watch Numbers another time and not stay up.
Remember over the years ABC was #1 on Friday, then CBS. Both networks killed off their ratings with moving good shows, canceling others, and replacing them with junk.

Je ne peux pas croire que vous ne continuez pas cette émission. Nous n’avons pas beaucoup d’émissions en commun mon mari et moi mais celle-ci en faisait partie. Now that the book Twilight came out and the movie more preteens and teens are into Vampire Romance and of the mystery between the main characters. The series Moonlight was about the same and alot of my friends watched it and what you take it off! Please I’m begging please put Moonlight back on air!

Bring back the show or at least make a movie to have a happy closure. I think the show will bring more viewers this season because of Twilight the movie. Twilight fans are hungry for shows like this. Lots of people like me on the web are desperately searching for something like Twilight. I loved the first series, please bring a second series with more intense love scenes. Don’t leave us hanging give us closure……………

ARE YOUR FREAKING KIDDING ME MAN!!! u can not cancel this show omg this is like the bomb hello u see how well twilight done in the movie theaters everyone loves a great vampire human love story and i gotta see if they get backtogether for god sake peeps get rid of all these reality tv shows who cares bout dancing with the stars and super nanny and all this other crap u put on tv give these shows a fighting chance peeps its not our fault the writers went on strike and the good shows might not of done well all i got to say is you can not cancel this show beth and mick st john need to hook it up BRING IT BACK!!!!

Moonlight was a fresh idea. I’m so sick of all the TV reality shows, after all thats all we have in real life. We watch tv on occasion to escape reality for a short time. We have all other types of shows on tv and when this one came along, I was so excited because it was different. I was very disappointed when the show was cancelled. I thought it had lots of potential. I would very much like to see it come back

I agree. Discontinue some of the reality and game shows and bring Moonlight back. It was an exceptional show and we looked forward to it each week over anything else we watched and we are 69 & 70 years old. Thank you.

I am so tired of POLICE shows. NCIS, CSI (3 OF THEM–ENOUGH ALREADY), LAW AND ORDER, LAW AND ORDER SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, LOST, BOSTON LEGAL, AND I’M SURE I HAVE FORGOTTEN MANY OF THEM.

IF YOU WOULD BRING BACK MOONLIGHT IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL. IT MADE MY WEEK. MEDIUM WAS CANCELED. WOMEN’S MURDER CLUB, CANCELED. OCTOBER ROAD, CANCELED–CAN’T YOU AT LEAST TELL US IF NICK IS THE FATHER?
