Oh Moonlight MUST be back with the SAME actors, especially Alex. SOO many fans would have their hearts torn if he isn’t back. He captures his audience with all his features. His eyes especially. It MUST be back. Moonlight shall go on. I don’t have one doubt in my mind. This is one vampire show that REALLY captures the fans and gives them the edge to want ot watch more. It’s like they purposefully made every episode like its last, with mystery and an edge that is exciting. You can’t have just one season of it. WE NEED MORE!

If no other company wants to produce this show, why not ask The SyFy Channel to do it. Seems to me it would be right at home there, because that is where I found the show. I didn’t even realize that CBS was the intial producers of this show. SyFy does a great job of advertising There have been many shows on this channel that began life elsewhere to only end up on SyFy where it gets new life. Moonlight has a hugh fan base on this channel. Would love to see it come back. It needs the story continued.

I’ve just stayed up for two days watching the entire first season of Moonlight and loved it. I’m begging whoever has the power to bring back the show, please do. I would definitly buy the seasons and watch them on tv, not matter the time. Twilight has made vampires big. So if you bring out Moonlight for its second season and even third I’m sure that the rating will go up. I’m not sure how it works in Hollywood but please bring back Moonlight. Please bring Alex back into the show too. He is hot and I love the couple between Mick and Beth, they are perfect for each other. Season 1 is cliff hanger and a tease. I am so ready for the next season of Moonlight. I’m so sure that Moonlight next few seasons would go far that Alex would be covered for his paycheck as well as the rest of the cast

Moon Light was a awsome series. I think that it was right up there with Twilight and Buffy. I think that Alex O’ Laughlin is a wonderful actor and that the series needs to continue. His fan base comes from my mother who is 65 , me who is 44 and my daughter who is 24. This is a great time to bring the series back but I would bring it back on a different night, like on a Monday or Tuesday…..again please bring the show back.

I wished I had written right after I heard this show was being taken off.
It was one of my favorites of course because of Alex O’Laughlin playing a
vampire. He was sooo handsome and played a wonderful vampire. It would have
been successful because of the Twilight Series. We needed a show like this on TV.
Well, I read where you were keeping him under contract, of course you cancel show,but
keep the cutie actor. Oh, well guess you can’t please everyone.

Well it is now 5/26/2009. Moonlight is on DVD since January 2009. Alex O’Loughlin did a turn on Criminal Minds back in April, did a wonderful job as an OCD killer, a role so different from Mick St. John. Alex is now filming a movie with Jennifer Lopez – pictures and video available online on various fan and tv websites. The movie The Back-Up Plan will be out in theatres January 2010. Alex looks hot. Also, his show is on the CBS lineup in the fall called Three Rivers, he plays a doctor. See CBS website and click on Three Rivers, view it and leave a comment. Hope that CBS treats him better this time around than with Moonlight – it deserved a second season. Also, his movie with Beckinsale is slated for September 2009.

Ok, I just barely found out about this tv series, two weeks ago. I got online, searched out the episodes, and from the very first epi, I was hooked! I found myself staying up into the wee hours of the morning, too hooked to turn off the episodes(which seeings as I have 3 children under 5, one of which is only 6 months, that is quite a feat!). I am devestated that the show is now canceled! Atleast it left off on a happy note, but I still want more! I hope someone will bring it back. but now that Alex is doing a new show, would he do moonlight still? I dont think it would be the same with a new Mick. *sobs in moonlight withdrawl tantrum*

I have watched a lot of vampire movies and tv shows, moonlight is by far the best one i have seen. I loved from the first episode. Alex O’Loughlin was the PERFECT choice for the roll and it’s not just because he’s Australian, although Australia grows some good looking BLOKES, mate. All I have to say is MOONLIGHT! MOONLIGHT! If they did bring back Moonlight with a new Alex, i probably wouldn’t watch it. I can’t believe anyone would say that he didn’t fit the role. From the very first episode you could easily tell he was perfect, and would be in bigger productions after moonlight was over. But i hope he wont leave it, even though it’s stressfull. Moonlight is just amazingly done. Though i thought that if it wasn’t Alex playing Mick, and Sophia playing Beth, that the series would have been boring and corny. Alex really is a great actor, i hope he keeps up the good work!! (even if he’s working on something besides moonlight!)

i pray that alex o’loughlin would return to moonlight if it does find a new network to be on. but, he’s an actor and he’s really good, no, he’s really a great actor. therefore, i can see all the great new job offers that most likely are coming his way. the show would not work without him and the rest of the same great cast. with all he has been through with the show problems, i would understand if he decided to not rejoin the show. cbs was bitten by a good thing and they didn’t know what to do with it. well, in my household cbs has bit the dust. no more cbs for us. alex and the rest of the cast should have much success in their future career opportunties. i will miss them all and the wonder work that they preformed on moonlight. “MOONLIGHT” was and still is the best new show that has graced televison in a very long time. donna gilliam

both my sister and I have enjoyed the series Moonlight in particular watching Mick St john alias Alex O’Loughlin we lived for Tues nights to see him, and thought that this was one of the best Vampire series / tv series for a long time we reate it up there with Lost, Heroes, Supernatural and the rest of the series we have watched from USA, it would be great if there was to be a season 2 or more, i know for one we would be glued to the tv watching it again.

Finally a show that has good storylines and good drama without being overly bloody or stupid. I would not be the same show without O’ Loughlin in the title role. I the show does return and he is not in it I don’t think I’ll ever watch it or let my 6year old daughter continue to watch it. She enjoys watching to see when they change into vampires, it makes her giggle. I hope the show does return and that O’ Loughlin returns with it.

Years ago we had Beauty and the Beast. I have every season on dvd. I sooooo miss the romance. I finally found it again in Moonlight. The humor, the drama, the fantasy, but mostly…the romance. Personally, I’m done watching any new series that are developed.. I see no point in watching and getting hooked only to see something I truly enjoy be cancelled. Seems like if it doesn’t contain back-biting, humiliation, or stupidity it isn’t considered worthy to remain. I don’t want that programming…and I certainly don’t need it. Wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of people started deciding that they just don’t need what the networks are offering nowadays. After all, CBS certainly doesn’t seem to to be listening to what so many viewers WANT, as evidenced by Moonlight having received the People’s Choice award and being cancelled anyhow. Thanks for nothing CBS…that’s just how much viewing I’ll be doing this fall.

During the past couple of seasons, the networks have created new sci-fi shows which they cancelled after one or two seasons, or even after just part of one season. When they did that to Journeyman, it was the last straw. I will never again take the time and effort, to even attempt to watch any new sci-fi offerings on network TV, no matter how tempting they may be. I will not be part of that target audience for big business to pitch their products to.

If I do not watch any of the shows to begin with, and when they yank them off the air, then I can never be disappointed, let down and upset.

Sci-fi shows have a dedicated and intelligent audience, and shows of that type, without huge campaign and advertising blitzes (like Heroes), do not do well in a network TV environment. Haven’t they learned that by now? Does anyone seriously think that Battlestar Galactica would have survived on Fox, CBS, ABC, CW, or NBC?

Until Sci-fi becomes more widely accepted, and the general public can broaden their horizons beyond mindless reality TV (not to include legitimate talent competition shows, which are done a disservice by being labeled as “reality”), these shows belong on the Sci-fi Channel (which we all know is owned by the network NBC), on other cable channels, and in syndication where everyone is much less worried about their shows being in the top 20 or so.

If those who do not want to see any newly created classy sci-fi shows suffer the same fate as Jericho, Journeyman, and the like; then you need to do as I plan to do, and to post that intention on every related forum/discussion board you can think of. If enough of us do this, maybe future sci-fi show creators and producers, will get the message and avoid network TV all together.

In this manner, massive campaign drives to save shows by signing petitions, writing letters, sending Rice-a-Roni to production companies and network offices, and other related efforts, will became mostly unnecessary and rare events. I am thinking however, of starting one on-line petition, aimed at production companies, for those of us to sign who have the same desires and intention. Hopefully that will be the only petition we will ever again need.

If any new sci-fi shows, no matter where they are aired, do not meet our standards, then the powers that be will know, and they will be phased out or canceled. In this way, shows that are so well written, produced and which have so much potential, like Journeyman, will not go down the network drain, while they experiment and search for the biggest corporate bucks. We, as a dedicated and knowledgeable audience, enjoy watching science do the experiments, not at us being the corporate experiment.

I suggest that all sci-fi fans who care about what’s presented to them, and who want to see quality prevail; get started on this venture, and don’t let up. It’s the only weapon we have to wield, in the quest for quality Sci-fi programming.

May quality science fiction television, live long and prosper.

Unfortunately Moonlight would not be Moonlight without Alex, Sophia, and Jason, but thousands and thousands of fans are fighting for its return on another network. The three on this show are dynamite together which I am sure is thanks to the writers as well as the incredible actors. I would watch any of them in another show, but losing Mick, Beth, and Josef, they would never be the same again.

If Alex doesn’t want to do Moonlight it’s over for me with the show. I will follow Alex where ever he goes. Moonlight won’t be the same with out the entire cast…Alex, Sophia, Jason. It’s the chemistry between them that works. Alex is great in anything he does and no matter what it is I will follow. I won’t follow Moonlight however, without him. He is the only Mick, Sophia is the only Beth and Jason is the only Josef. I think I can speak for many if not all Moonlight fans that Alex, Sophia and Jason are so impressed upon us as Moonlight that any one taking their places would not work.
