TV show description:
Marcus Jackson (Bill Bellamy) is a movie star who gets in an altercation with the paparazzi and punches a photographer. As a result, he’s sentenced to perform community service and must put his film career on hold.

He initially aspired to be a teacher and still has his teacher’s license so the judge presiding over his case orders him to work for six months as a teacher for underprivileged high school kids in Los Angeles’ South Central neighborhood.

Marcus eventually decides that he wants to continue working at the school and to try to help improve the lives of his students — much to the chagrin of his sleazy and scheming agent, Bobby Gold (Jon Lovitz).

On top of that, Marcus must deal with the exploits of his best friends and roommates, Tony “The Tiger” (Tony T. Roberts) and Jamal Tayor (Alex Thomas).

Mr. Box Office is a surprising turd considering the named talent involved. Worse than “Enlisted” and I couldn’t watch that one, either.

This should continue or say be renewed. It’s very funny, amazing, and something new to enjoy. Thumbs Up.
