I think that fox or whatever network cancelled it will put it back on eventualy. Just like they cancelled family guy and replaced it with shows that are as good as poo on a burning stick. who would watch horrible shows like the cleveland show when you could watch new episodes of my name is earl. I am glad TBS will air it soon.

I watch “My Name is Earl” all the time and really think it’s a funny show. I hope that the show finds a way to continue because it would be a disappointment to its fans if it ends.

i am a huge fan of Earl (although i never watched it when it started), and at the time of writing this i am halfway through season 3, and i am really enjoying it. i may be wrong, but, all sitcoms that do well seem to be about middle to upper class people (30 rock, scrubs, frasier, two and a half men, raymond and sex and the city all had good innings) my point is this- do networks in the states or anywhere for that matter, want us the viewers to look upon earl and trailer dwelling friends with ant kind of affection? I think the show may have been cancelled for political reasons….6 million viewers in season four does not warrent cancellation.
look, its just a thought not an invitation to proove me wrong, having said that i would welcome a response.

Come on! Please bring back Earl! It was the greatest show and a lot of people can really truly relate to it. You don’t find TV sitcoms out there that can truly reach the hearts of millions. Just please, bring back Earl. I don’t care who takes it. This show was truly amazing.

This show needs to do more seasons!!! i just started getting into it and i have ALL the episodes that are playing on TBS dvr’d for the next two weeks!!! i’ve seen almost all of them out of order, and i have no idea why they got cancelled!!! someone needs to pick the show up! it can’t end the way it did! why would they do that?!?!

The show has to return for season 5. I work in mexico and have all the mexican natives hooked on the other seasons ( I have them on DVD). It comes down to the money for the networks. With some advertisement it would be a GREAT SUCCESS (that means lots of money….for the TV personal)

I damn hope that my name is earl airs a fifth season or i’ll be disapointed as hell. And as everybody knows a disapointed german can be pretty dangerous. If the guys accountable for the decision to air it or not do the wrong thing, i see myself accountable of blowing them away with a termonuclear device. Though some people might think that crazy germans aren’t able to construct strategic nuclear weapons, i’m willing to prove that they are wrong, if it’s for the cause of saving a brilliant TV show.

British comedy can be very funny, but it can also suck, just like american humor. I mean america brought us treasures like ‘friends’ and ‘my name is earl’, but it’s also responsible for intolerable drivel like ‘the war at home’ and ‘darma and greg’. every country who makes comedies has it’s highs and lows, so you can’t really make a blanket statement like “all british comedy sucks”. You should check out ‘peep show’ and ‘the IT crowd’, both british and both genius. But yeah, i have to concur about the overall point, ‘the office’ sucked major ass, american and british versions alike.

Very few programs deliver content with a message. Trek creator (Rodenberry) knew this and look at how his creation has delivered. NBC execs were foolish to cancel it. No surprise, considering the late night talk show crap going on. They don’t know their a-sses from elbows.
