Nashville: Season Two Ratings

Nashville season two ratingsLast season, it looked like Nashville might be cancelled but ABC decided to renew the show instead. Will the ratings rise in season two so its future is assured or will the numbers drop so it cancelled this time? We’ll have to wait and see.

The Nashville TV show revolves around a rising country star (Hayden Panettiere) and a legendary superstar (Connie Britton) whose fame is fading. Others in the cast are Charles Esten, Eric Close, Clare Bowen, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Chris Carmack, Lennon Stella, and Maisy Stella.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Nashville is the best show on television, hands down. I went through withdrawal this summer and watched another 7 rounds on hulu. I am nearly 40 and I have never quite felt this way about a TV show…except maybe 90210 when I was 16. I have stopped watching other TV shows because they just don’t compare. The same goes for the music. I wasn’t even a country fan before. But you know what? I see ads for other shows…never Nashville. Maybe teh show shoudl actually advertise and recruit some new fans, other than tweeting to the fans they already have? The world does not need more Reality TV or Redneck dynasties. Can the rest of us just have something good, with talented performers? I swear most of us will buy anything teh show advertises, whether it’s Neutrogena, Pond’s, BlueBird Cafe shirts at the Nashville airport, rhinestones, $600 cowboy boots. No reason to cancel this show!!

Nashville is by far my favorite show on any network. The characters have so much potential, there is so much room for development. There are still so many more stories to tell with each character and each relationship. I look forward to exploring those journeys in many seasons to come, so please don’t cancel Nashville!!!

Keep nashville. It is my fav show of the week. I mean that and east end and Big Bang theory. The other shows are corny. You are waiting for their punch line and actors over acting. Geez don’t make me replace my Wednesdays. If it was earlier you might get better views a lot of moms love it and by 11 it’s like crap gotta get to bed. Because kids tomorrow.

What I love about Nashville is the acting is so natural. They talk and act like real people, not like it’s scripted at all. I absolutely love this show and everything about it. I check every week to see how the ratings are b/c I will be heartbroken if it is cancelled. I have never done that for any other show. ABC please keep it going. Too much CSI stuff and reality junk is on tv now. This is so different and refreshing. It’s pure quality.

please don’t cancel nashville!it’s such a good show and the actors are all amazing and great singers!it’s so different too because there aren’t many shows that focus so much on music while still having interesting storylines and aren’t overly “soapy”.

No! Please do not cancel Nashville. It is unique and the actors especially Hayden are wonderful. There are a lot of Country Music Fans out there. Come on get together and then go out and tell your family and friends to watch it and give it a chance. You have to watch a few episodes before you make a choice to keep watching it and helping keep Nasville going on strong. We have so many people unemployed as it is. Don’t do that to all the employees of Nashville.
    Thank you.
