I’m horrified to hear that the Sing-off has been cancelled. The talent of the people you have found is unbelieveable. I can’t believe that you would cancel the most original music talent show on TV! That’s such a sad blow for the arts, especially the incredibly difficult and underappreciated art of A cappella singing (singing without accompaniment). There are only a few shows on NBC that I watch on a regular basis, and this was one of them, I’m sad to say that if NBC doesn’t come back to having good funny shows and great drama’s that aren’t Law & Order, (like you had in the 90′s), no one is going to be watching you soon. And now you’ve cut into your good reality shows too! Shame on you!

Cameron is right! Give quality a chance! The Sing-Off is QUALITY!! And there is way too little quality on TV. PLEASE renew it. That show showcases incredible talent!! I think it needs a little more time and a lot more promo so more could see how amazing it is. Give quality a chance!

Really disappointed “The Sing Off” is gone. That show gave me thrills and chills every week.

Hopefully someone will pick up the concept and run with it. Meanwhile, there are still a lot of clips on the internet; hope they don’t get taken down!

I’m so glad they are renewing The Office (even though it is not the same without Michael Scott) but I wish they wouldn’t show so many repeats in the middle of the season or just skip a week all together. I forget what happens from the last newest episode and lose interest. Surprised it’s being renewed!

No! I cannot believe they canceled the Sing-Off! That show featured more talented musicians and vocalists than any other singing show on air AND inspired new vocalists with something to shoot for! What a blow for the choral community. NBC, how could you?

I totally agree with you, it’s a tragedy that they cancelled the best singing competition on TV! SO SAD!!! Maybe we can all petition them to put it back on the air, it worked for King of Queens.

Agree with Ruth Dickens. Leave all the mindless shows on. Harry’s Law was funny, informative and thought provoking, especially the one that aired May 12 dealing with homosexuality. Come on guys, leave a decent show on. Whitney renewed?? What a farce!!!!. Kathy Bates is awesome. Pretty soon I will switch to anything than NBC

Love Harry’s Law and Awake. which was an especially fascinating concept. Funny– they were the only NBC shows I watched.

I was so disappointed that ‘Harry’s Law’ and ‘Prime Suspect’ were canceled. When I look at all the unbelievably inconsequential junk that has been renewed, I begin to ask myself why the two most interesting programs with the two most interesting characters, Kathy Bates and Maria Bello, didn’t make it. I finally figured it out. They weren’t written for the ‘GED’ audience you are pandering to. They were both about women who weren’t in the mold – didn’t have to go around in skin tight clothes and spike heels and way too much make-up, flipping their hair every few minutes. They were too ‘of the moment’, too ‘cutting edge’, too ‘relevant’ and too well written to make it in the audience you target.

Ruth, I agree with you on all counts. I just finished watching the latest episode and it was great. They take on issues in the news “Today” and this particular episode was very satisfying. Maybe some other “network” – maybe a cable network – will pick this show up. It seems that the so-called “big 3″ networks make sure certain shows fail by putting them on days of the week or switching them around so it is hard to find them. Since I’ve had a DVR, I no longer miss my favorites.

So, before long there will be another reality singing competition on every hour, an episode or more of survivor or amazing race on every day. I do not find these programs entertaining. I stopped watching American Idol when the audience began voting for the worst. It has gone down hill ever since. So, no doubt in the year to come we will have reality TV on every night in prime time. That’s when I will cut off my cable and save money.

I love Harry’s Law , Kathy Bates and all that are on the show. PLEASE don’t cancel it. I’m 60 years old and home bound. I’m on oxygen 24/7 so I do alot of sitting but I watch this show 5 or 6 timed a week. I could amost play the parts on some of them. There’s so much crap on tv that you could cancel ….please leave this alone. I love it. I know I’m just one person but I know there has to be other people who love Harry as much as I do. Thank you for letting me ramble but I do adore this show. Mardi Keener

Something tells me NBC is willing to take a risk with Awake. If the series hasn’t been cancelled or renewed after 13 episodes in, you have to wonder if the network still sees the potential in the show. Maybe it’s just my wishful thinking after watching tonight’s episode, but I have a feeling these last few episodes of Awake will stir some buzz; much like the pilot episode.

Grimm and Community are the only 2 shows worth watching on NBC and one is renewed.
I barely watch Grimm tho cause I’m so invest in Supernatural for the last 7 seasons . So I don’t watch Grimm as much as I would want to.

LOVE “Bent”! Dialogue is Sooo SMART and witty and the characters are great. I didn’t watch it until after it had aired and I discovered it On Demand and have sinced turned other friends onto it who also love it.

I was bitterly disappointed that “Prme Suspect” was cancelled. It was also very smart with good characters and clever dialogue.

I feel networks make decisions too quickly. Remember when “Hill Street Blues” was almost cancelled, but due to the demographics it was saved and then lasted for something like 13 years. Give quality a chance.
