Who Do You Think You Are? is one of the few shows I watch. I watch very little TV any more because most of it is not worth the time. This one is well worth my time and is very interesting and well put together. I hope another network sees it’s worth and continues to air it.

NBC has posted show after show with sitcoms and canned laughter. I went down the list of cancellations and there wasn’t a single show that I watched…..except WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!
AS a faithful viewer of this show, if I missed it I logged on to the NBC web site and watched it there. As a Family Tree researcher, I was able to pick up tips here and there. On the con side, let me say that it’s NOT THAT EASY unless you have lots of $$$$ you don’t just walk in and have a genealogist say “this is what we found”! Doing the research is a LOT of work. But the show did give examples of obtaining different types of court records, church records, land grants, voter’s records, Historical societies, Genealogy libraries and many many more. It mentioned experts whose name and location I quickly wrote down. Also, the show gave examples of people who really were novices and knew NOTHING about their family history but they came away from the experience with a sence of wonder and amazement at what had been found about THIER ANCESTRY.
What other show can say that????!
PLEASE continue this show!

I can’t believe that they are going to cancel Harry’s Law…A Gifted Man..Awake..and the finder which in the beginning I was leary of but grew to like…how can you keep shows like Parenthood…Fashion Star…the biggest looser….and Parks and Rec….Like one person said …how about listening to the older people who have supported tv for 40 yrs…I guess we don’t matter but we are the ones home at night who really watch these shows…and buy the stupid commercial products…we are the ones with the money…WHY NOT LISTEN TO WHAT WE WANT….No wonder nbc is the LAST on the watching view…they take all the good shows off…who ever is running the show for nbc should be fired..nbc has been last for the pasty few yrs now it will take a while before it ever gets top ratings ..who is running that show I could run it better…. and you are keeping that stupid show Whitney…and that stupid show Last man standing..Please listen to our cries…

NBC used to be the only channel that had shows I enjoyed. With the cancellation of Awake and Harry’s Law, the ONLY show left is Grimm.
With only one show worth watching, I may do better to cancel my satellite subscription and just catch up online.
Down to 4 shows TOTAL worth watching on all networks.
Not interested in watching people dance or sing. I prefer shows that don’t insult my intelligence.

Loved The Firm. It was in a bad time slot. It was one of the few good shows on Sat. Night.

I am very disapointed that you are cancelling “Who do you think you are”. This is a very interesting show and provides vital information on family research for the millions of people researching their family genealogy.

I can’t believe WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE is going off the air! Finally a good show and you’re taking it off the air. I thought it was rotten of you to take THE PLAYBOY CLUB off too. The only thing I now watch on NBC is my soap DAYS OF OUR LIVES which, by the way, I have been watching since it premiered. I was 12 years old! How soon will it be you take that off the air? Good grief!

The only shows I watch on NBC are Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Who Do You Think You Are?. I guess they don’t want to keep the few viewers they do have. Sure glad they did scrap some of the raunchy ones, though. The sitcoms seem to have canned laughter and are not funny at all. The channel is definitely not very family friendly. Hope Who Do You Think You Are? finds a new home and I will follow it.

I used to watch all nbc shows once upon a time then out came awake and who do you think you are…awake being so different I just love it and who do you think you are..not a sitcom with mouthy kids…I used to seriously believe NBC ruled the roost..sadly I was wrong..no wonder more of us have gone off to hobo and the like..cause they show different..I sure do hope those shows get picked up by other channels

I am very disappointed that Who Do You Think You Are? and The Sing-off have been cancelled. The upside is that now I’m not watching anything on NBC. I guess they’ll be thrilled. CBS is still the best.
I really hope that Who Do You Think You Are? will find a new home, because it’s something I look forward to all year.

PLEASE don’t cancel Who Do You Think You Are – we have enough sit-coms and news shows. This is something a little different and interesting plus it gives us genealogists new hope on finding more data on our family!

Awake is a stimulating, exceptionally well acted tv program with a plot that is intriguing.
And…oh here we go again….canceling a well written, well acted show. I was a Friday Night Lights addict; now I am addicted to AWAKE and that is on its way out. WHY????
Please listen to your middle aged, highly educated, entertainment savy population.
Keep AWAKE on another year.

Very sorry to see “Who Do You Think You Are?” taken off. I really looked forward to that show. I have been doing genealogy for 40 years but still learned something.

Every time there is a really good show on TV, it is cancelled. I hope someone at NBC is reading these comments. Harry’s Law is an excellent show that I don’t miss. I love Kathy Bates and the rest of the cast. I can’t believe it doesn’t have the viewership to be renewed.
Take off that horrible Celebrity Apprentice or one one or two of the ubiquitous reality shows (which are not reality at all). Who Do You Think You Are? is very interesting and well done. There are so many people interested in genealogy there should be a huge audience for that show. I never miss it, staying home every Friday night to watch. Shame on NBC! Who makes these decisions anyway? I agree with another comment that this is the dumbing down America. What happened to quality? I could go on and on, but I think it is useless.
