NCIS: Season 10 Ratings

NCIS ratingsLeroy Gibbs and his team are back for another season of NCIS and big ratings for CBS. It’s hard to imagine that this TV show will ever be cancelled but it has to happen sometime, doesn’t it? Keep watching!

The 10th season of NCIS typically airs on Tuesday nights at 8pm on the CBS network. The cast includes Mark Harmon, Brian Dietzen, Cote de Pablo, David McCallum, Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and Sean Murray.

Below are the TV show’s ratings for the 2012-13 season, the best way to tell if NCIS is going to be cancelled or renewed for season 11 (though cancellation certainly seems incredibly unlikely).

Year to year, NCIS was down by 5% in the demo and up by 3% in viewership. I seriously doubt anyone at CBS is complaining about these numbers.

Reference point: The ninth season of NCIS averaged a 3.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 19.22 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you still like the NCIS TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for an eleventh season?

this show was horrible in the beginning and seems to have sucked in millions, 10 seasons of the same crap and when it seems to get really crappy they kill off or exit a character, please cbs get rid of this dead horse, usa quit showing this crap, cloo quit showing this crap, cbs’ best shows are person of interest, blue bloods, ncis los angeles (least there is some originality, regular crappy ncis is not original) and the new hawaii five-o are the best cbs shows while the best show on tuesdays is actually on abc with marvels agents of shield and I have yet to watch michael j fox’s new show but pretty sure it will be better than ncis as well

Best show! I didn’t begin watching it until the 6th season. Immediately got hooked on NCIS and the cast. Drama and humor by means of bantering keeps that show popular. Thanks to the cast for renewing contracts, thanks to CBS for renewing the contract, continue the great story lines, looking forward to September!
By the way, is there a reason the ratings by age group aren’t widened? Perhaps they are and only one age group was reported in this report. But I guarantee there is a big following by 50+.
