Please bring October Road back!!! I don’t think I can stand the possibility of never knowing whats to come with the characters I have come to know and love. I’m really torn apart over this. We viewers deserve some closure!!

just started watching the show, and looked online to see there has been now season 3 this year! im going to wish for the best and hope than something gets sorted out and continue to watch the show considering im still on season 1! just think its a great show, as someone else wrote a show anybody can watch, absolutely gutted it has been cancelled and if its not going to go back on the air i agree bring it out on dvd so atleast fans can find out the whole story!

I liked the show. Acting was solid. I’ve seen a lot worse series last a lot longer. Glad to see the closing chapter on the DVD.

First and foremost ya all are making the wrong decision. Instead of the ridiculos reality shows and Jon and Kate plus 8 you get rid of a decent show. Seriously its not very often you get men and women, (husband and wife) to watch shows together. You hit the jackpot with October Road and then pull it away from us. THANKS!!!! Instead your going to show those stupid shows that have no meaning. I wonder about producers!
If they would get on with the show and start showing some results to who the father is. Maybe they would see some ratings:) Well, hopefully some minds are changed.

disappointing, fathful watcher . LIke everyone else I want to know who Sam’s dad is and which couples will make it. I would suggest if the writers can’t find another home on TV than they should record it for DVD. Let the viewers have the option to rent or purchase it.

I am vary upset about this I loved that show…Yes it was low rateings so fix the problem advertise it at the right time and maybe it shouldnt be on at 9pm earlier would have more viewers i know once more plp saw the show theyed be hooked just like i was..Then move the time back if you have to, I just hope someone see’s how good the show was and puts it back on because besides the soaps in the daytime ABC has no good shows most of the crap and I mean crap they have on now days is so dumb is everyone running out of ideas or what!!!!!!!

this is such disappointing news!! you know why ratings went down? because abc always aired October Road at the worst times!!! if they had moved some of their other more horrible shows around more people would have watched it! grrr!
now what are we supposed to do?

will ray and hannah actually get married?
what’s up with eddie and janet? (although i don’t think eddie should forgive her! )
what’s going to happen with ronnie and aubrey and nick?

PLEASE BRING OCTOBER ROAD BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Season 1 and 2 were heartwarming… and to wrap up the series finale in 15 MINUTES in a “Special Feature” on Season 2’s dvd was such a DISAPPOINTMENT The finale story lines were what we had all hoped for but everything seemed so RUSHED and not fully explained. What ever happened between Owen & his wife??? Or the Commander’s girlfriend??? Or the Rooster??? Or Big Cat??? Or Best Friend windows??? It’s a shame ABC cancelled such a great show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the point of bringing out all these new shows and getting the viewers so interested in them and then taking them off of the air? Especially this show. I was looking forward to another season of October Road, a show that is definitely better to watch then the dumb reality shows that are airing these days, like Rock of Love or The Bachelor. Bring out a show that actually has a story line and has some damn meaning behind it. That’s what great shows are all about, it’s about being able to relate to something and constantly wanting more. But instead you bring out pointless ass shows and keep them damn things on the air. I mean seriously coming soon, Daisy of Love, who the hell is she and what the hell do we care about her damn love life. She’s nobody important and just a waste of tv air time.

Wow, first Boston Legal, now October Road! This is a MAJOR disappointment to say the least…my family and some friends of ours had all been waiting to see some sort of preview that would indicate when the new season would finally begin, and now we come to find that its completely over! The other day, I was just commending ABC for being a minority amongst other networks in airing a few ‘TV shows’ with an actual plot and story line that wasn’t ridiculously outrageous and over the top. Sometimes the simplest story lines are a refreshing break from the excessively convoluted narratives often employed by desperate execs seeking immediate results. Well, lets hope they made the right decision, a mere 5 million viewers will surely miss the series…

It was stupid to cancel this show. Oh well, I don’t even watch ABC anymore cause none of my shows are on there anymore. Not my loss cause I’m sure I’m not the only one. ABC you screwed up between this show and Women’s Murder Club. FOX seems to be the network with the “have to watch” shows now. It’s a bad time in the economy for networks to be making stupid decisions and cancelling good shows. Hope you survive the recession ABC or actually I could care less if you survive cause I don’t watch you anyway.

ABC lets be serious now, are you really going to not end the story the correct way. I beleive its like some 10.2 million people who watched this show, on average. So that is 10.2 million people who still dont know sam’s biological father. Or what happens with my “MAIN MAN’ eddie. Or the commander. So lets at least get real and throw a round three in there to at least end the story the correct way.

October Road was a fantastic show, with a cast of characters that had the chance to blossem into a magnificant show. It is incredible sad when nonsesnse and reality tv; to which( someone could consider this low class understanding of reality),plays out ahead OF A DRAMA SERIES. Profits do need to exist and II believe I grasp the nettwrok decision as a business; but people need to be entertained. That concept is frequently lost to network exec’s. How can we obtain quality shows during this dredful period of time in history. We need, we want, we demand, to be entertained with a series tha may actually have a plot line and offers intellect to the viewer opposed to network’s lack of judgement. It seems to be the philosophy of spagetti. Throw enough, (*&*!) on the wall some are bound to stick, just as long as networks continue t have profits.

I don’t know why they cancelled the October Road show, I was so looking forward to finding out what happens with Eddie and Janet and there is just so much still to cover. I mean make a movie and tell us the ending or somthing… this is ridiculous. You all do this all the time, at least certain shows get a decent ending when they get cut off the air. You could have put it back on for half a season or somthing just to see what happens. I mean you get us all worked up waiting to see what is going to happen and now we are stuck wondering…. I hate wondering. So put the show back on or do somthing to let the viewers know what happens in the end.

Another big mistake by ABC October Road wasn’t given a fair chance-it needs another season to prove itself and gain more viewers Everyone that stayed with it throughout its short run is very disappointed about its cancellation. Give it another chance ABC you won’t be disappointed
