My husband and I are very disappointed that this show is not coming back on this season. We couldn’t wait each week to watch it. It was different than any other shows aired and was a nice change from the norm. You definitely should re-think bringing it back on.

Crazy, I just found this show on Hulu and thought it was great.

Too bad it ended, I watched both seasons this summer and just finished up the last episode. It’s sad to say but I actually held off watching the last few episodes because I’d already heard the show was canceled and didn’t want it to end so soon.

Came across this while surfing hulu and have been utterly enthralled with the show. Maybe the marketing was poor or I just havent followed tv lately, but dang this show rocked. Had all the music from the years when I was growing up, some of my favorite actors and actress and an amazingly down to earth story. Loved the show immensely and have been addicted ever since episode one left me hanging about Sam’s father.

Software developer in Washington hoping someone will pick this show up again and at least finish off the loose ends. Best show I have seen in 10 years.

i was recomended this tv series a couple weeks ago and fell in love with it. i found myself hooked from the opening scene in episode 1 and then to my disapointment found out that they cancelled it after 2 seasons boy does that suck, i hope another network picks this show up because it is truly the best on tv.

I stopped watching tv 4 years ago because of all of the garbage but just started watching movies on HULU. I found October Road and fell in love with it. There hasn’t been a cast that has interacted quite as well in such a long time. I am devastated to know that there is no 3rd season. PLEASE!!!! Please bring it back. Even if I have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

This is so heart breaking.
I loved it. They did very wrong.. October Road was where you can relate to the characters & understand what they felt , apparently the viewers only want gossip related programmes , atleast one should be there that makes sense & shows what kind of people there are.
I request each and everyone of the people to be requested.

This is so disheartening to learn that over & over again television no longer is worthwhile entertainment for any age group. If it hadn’t been for Hallmark this winter season we wouldn’t have bothered with the tv. Even the food channels, fix-it programs etc. repeat themselves into the ground. Its time for board games, cards, books and puzzles.
October Road had the feel of Ed Burns’ ” The Groomsmen” and “Beautiful Girls”. The critics should watch a few Irish/Scottish/ films etc. to learn how to engage all ages with chums, family, sentiment and humor.

OF COURSE. There’s finally something good to watch on tv, and it’s cancelled. I’m SOOOOOO sick of “reality” t.v. It’s become a real bore. And all these “talent’ shows….ENOUGH. This show had a great plot, awesome characters, and phenomal soundtrack…and it’s cancelled. Well, I guess that means I can spend more time reading books since there’s NOTHING on television these days! Someone with some intelligence…please pick this show up. The non-brain dead American viewers who are tired on dancing and singing shows really enjoyed watching it!

ABC get a grip this is a awsome show a true feel good that people can relate to. The show had a crappy time slot and a mid season showing. By the time people caught on toin those 6 episodes, it it was off again. The familys that would fall in love with this show are getting their kids prepared for baseball and other sports at this time of year. I would love to see the numbers if it had a fall viewing. Without Tivo I would have never seen the show myself . To think your going to wrap up all our answer in one finale episode is a joke somebody pick this show up before the ruin it for all the fans!

I remember when I saw the first episode, couldnt resist, I knew it was a good show right away. If ABC cancels October Road, there are some really dumb big shots at ABC. I have watched all of the episodes on the ABC web site as well, maybe they dont include those numbers in the viewership, or the people recording the show. I think things have changed, poeple have other entertainment. Iregardless, the networks have to give the shows a little more time to catch on. They cancelled Journeyman, which was a good show. If you like October Road, check out the movie Beautifull Girls, it was by the same writer as OR. Its a movie that nobody has seen, it came out and didnt do well. It has Matt Dillon, Uma Therman, Noah Emerich, Rosy O’Donnel (she is not bad in it), a young Natalie Portman, she is great in this, Tim Hutton, and a bunch of others that have made it big since the movie came out.

October Road is excellent. I loved it from the start. All the characters are real – excellent acting. When all the other shows were repeats due to the writer’s strike, October Road had all new material. Grey’s Anatomy has nothing on this show and in my opinion Grey’s should be cancelled.

I hope the network reconsiders and brings back October Road.

The cast did a great job and yes, there are TOO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS left hanging out there. We need answers and a good show to be continued. I’am very upset that October Road is not coming back . I ‘am 32 yrs old and I would get so excited for that week just to see October Road . It was like when I use to watch 90210 back in the day . I can not believe that this is the second time ABC has cancelled October Road! By changing the time slot the second season and then the writer’s strike October Road was never given a chance to blossom into the show that it could of been. Instead of having all these nonsense reality shows on the air go back to sensible television with shows that have good storylines and that are family oriented. ABC give October Road another chance and if it doesn’t work out then we will have to live by the old clice’, THREE STRIKES AND YOUR OUT!

I am really upset with ABC for taking off two of their best shows ever. Especially October Road. So many of us watch it. And Men in Trees, Also a wonderful show. Reality and violence is really not the way to go. Soooo Disappointed, as are all my friends.
