Once Upon a Time: Season Two Ratings

ABC ratings for Once Upon a TimeLast year, Once Upon a Time got off to a positive start in the ratings but then kept falling each week. I love this show. TV has really disappointed me in recent years but for very few shows and most are on cable so the seasons will have a year between them. I watch every week and it have gotten really good in the past two episodes. I am surprised the ratings are down. Is 7 Million on a Sunday really that low?

My husband and I love the show, however, we cannot get past Mary Margaret’s haircut.
It is a ridiculously short, way too boyish, makes-her-ears-stick out hair-style for a character which is supposed to be the epitome of beauty and femininity. It seems as though they try to make up for it by giving her extremely fake looking eyebrows.
The over-all effect greatly detracts from her character. Perhaps, as she does as Snow White, she should also wear a wig as Mary Magaret.

Maybe the show would have a bit higher ratings if they didn’t keep giving more importance to the action instead of the character development (only Regina’s one is satisfacting so far)… plus they keep adding new people and stories leaving open too many losen threads… another thing that bothers me is that MORE THAN OFTEN there are characters that act totally out of character just to keep a situation going in a certain way (example: HENRY being that surprised about finding his parents still in bed at noon… come on guys, the kid stole a card to get his way to Boston! He’s not stupid!) and the list is really long! Oh and there’s also AUGUST’s matter: did they just all deleted the fact he existed and actually lived there for a while… did really Emma and Henry forget their friend so easily??? I still LOVE the show but sometimes the quality of the writing is just too silly -.-

‘Once Upon a Time’ is a fantastic show for the whole family and worth keeping on Sunday nights! My 9-year old son loves this show and we watch it together. I know he would be extremely disappointed if this show was cancelled. I think it is fascinating how the writers are able to intertwine storybook fairytale stories into the writing to create a unique and interesting storyline. I personally really like the show and would hate to see it cancelled!

Get August back. It seems the episodes that had him in it were the highest rated one.

Once the magic curse was broken, so was the basic premise of the show and a lot of my interest. Perhaps they should have merged Once Upon A Time and Revenge into one show, that would have kept it interesting. You know they are hitting bottom when they start dredging up characters from any story ever told.

I have lost interest in this show. I really liked it last season, but it has lost something, I’m just not sure what.

I like the show but of course there’s nothing good opposite it. Only thing bugs me is the kid. Why don’t the adults keep him in line? Let it go-no he gets in the way. Go to school-no he does something else. I know he ties thing together but…
