Looks like Starz has passed. Deadline reports the network has dropped plans to air the new series The One Percent.
From Alejandro G. Iñárritu, the drama “follows a broken family struggling to keep their farm from financial ruin, until a bizarre twist of fate changes their lives forever.” The cast includes Greg Kinnear and Hilary Swank.
Starz originally ordered 10 episodes of The One Percent in 2014. However, due to production delays, the network has decided to drop the show. This doesn’t mean the series is completely scrapped. MRC, the show’s producer, is reportedly looking for a new distributor.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Iñárritu’s work? Would you watch The One Percent?
