Love this show. Where is it? Love all the characters. Like that there is an autistic son in the show and can kind of get an idea of what that disability is like, that the grandparents have their own rocky relationship, that one of the characters has infertility problems. Like that it’s set in Berkeley unlike other shows that are set in less interesting areas. When is it coming back???

As the mother of a child with Asperger’s, I decided to watch the show last season although my sons are grown and the title seemed uninteresting to an empty nester. WOW! Was I wrong. This is my favorite show of all the ones I watch.

The writing is superrb and accurate. The acting is phenomenal! The only reason this show is suffering in the ratings is because it is up against the strongest drama on TV…Good Wife, which I also watch. We usually TIVO Parenthood and I save to watch the next day with my son who has Aspergers. He is very high functioning and thinks the depiction is Right On.

Move the time to a less competititve slot and I am sure it will thrive.

Parenthood is a definite. I watched it in February for the first and have not missed an episode since. It is my favorite show. Real life situations that parents and family have to face has me in my mind wondering how I would handle situations and recieving insight on the way the shows portrays. The writing and acting is supurp! With so much sexual content and crass on the air today, I rarely ever turn my tv on. FINALLY a show with morals, insight, and consistency that I can count on.

Too much drama …get rid of the black and white couple…bring back John Corbett and Richard Dreyfuss..too many couples to keep track of. John Corbett would not have chosen that girl in the show as a girlfriend…yuck. This should would be nothing if it didn’t features guess stars.

Keep it!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s a great show. My husband and I and our adult kids love it. We’re just disappointed that it’s not more reliable. We gear up for it every Tues. and then it’s a re-run or not on at all. It’s very true to life and extremely well played out, so keep it coming. It’s one of our favorites.

Please DO NOT cancel this show! The writing is great, the acting is great, why is it that when a quality show comes along, the network cancels it? OK, there’s no violence, or car chase scenes, or vampires, but finally here’s a show with some substance, with well developed characters, etc.

This is a GREAT program. Come on …. please don’t cancel it. It is a program about REAL life and I find it very enjoyable as does my whole family. Right down to Grandma who is 87. Please, don’t take something good off.

Please don’t cancel Parenthood. I read somewhere else that the show is on hiatus for the month of December and I seriously hope that is true. Our family loves to sit down and watch it together (I DVR it because it’s on too late for the younger kids). The kids (who range in age between 14 and almost 4) love the show as well as my husband and I (ages 29 and 33-hope that helps your demographic). The show is realistic to what life is like as a parent. I can’t remember an episode that didn’t have me in hysterics either sobbing or laughing. So hurry up and bring back our show! Pretty please?

I am so sick and tired of these reality shows! “Parenthood” was a great “family” show. They have cancelled all the good shows like “Ghost Whispers,” “Who Do You Think You Are,” and “Being Erica”. These were good family shows. Who the heck wants to watch those stupid a$$ reality shows, there are so many of them on now. Heck, it isn’t even worth watching TV anymore.

Parenthood is a one of the best shows on television. It is the only show my husband and I make a point to watch. Good writing, storylines and perfomances are hard to come by in this climate of “reality” based television. NBC usually rises above the rabble with their programming choices. I hope they make a decision that is good for families and keep Parenthood. Sometimes you have to let a show grow into itself, give it a chance. It will find a strong bottom line if you let the show continue it’s growth.

I agree….where the heck did this show go? It just fell off the face of the earth. We LOVE this show in our house. My 16 year old daughter and I watch together and always turn to eachother and say “did they write this about us? Where are the hidden cameras??” or “Oh my God, that’s so us”. Why is it when a show is truly entertaining and worth watching that it is cancelled.
I LOVE the show “Parenthood”. Please do not take it off TV. It is about things that happen to families in real life. That’s right, FAMILIES……. we need more shows about family life. They seem to be fast disappearing from our view.
