One of the stars of Starz’s Party Down, Adam Scott, has posted an outtake from the cast’s fake Vanity Fair photo shoot.
As most fans are well aware, Starz cancelled the show last week after a second season of low ratings. Of the cancellation, Scott wrote, “RIP #partydown. Working with that cast and crew has been one of the great joys of my life. I was sick of Ken Marino anyway.”
Though Party Down is gone, viewers will be able to see Scott in season three of NBC’s Parks and Recreation. The sitcom’s been renewed but won’t return until mid-season — or sooner if one of NBC’s new sitcoms tanks early.

I loved party down there was not a show on tv funnier. Will really miss it.
It was canceled by Starz I thought not Showtime…or does it own both? I loved this show and am sad to see it go

I am now following Adam Scott anywhere he goes. Not physically, of course, but you know, on TV and stuff. LOVE the man, love his prosthetic penis.
Party Down belonged on a channel that’d take the time with it like an FX. Paired with “Always Sunny” it would of killed! Hell, even HBO would of given it time to develop…
I loved Party Down, sad it isn’t going to be returning. however, i am glad to hear that there will be more Adam Scott on Parks and Rec, definitely one of my faves.
I love this show!!! I don’t have Starz so I streamed it on Netflix. I was also a huge fan of Veronica Mars so that was the reason i started watching in the first place… another good cancelled show…
