that was a very very bad idea of moving passion to direct tv.I understand if you had change the timing it play but moving it is different didnt you think about how much fans you would lose when moving it. and there’s not that much rich ppl in this world to pay to watch shows online. that ridoulous. I can’t believe that you all are charging people to watch passions online that really doesn’t make any since it’s bad enough that you all charge so much for direct tv in now just to watch one show it cost 20.00 thats a shame in if anybody out there is stupid enough to pay for it you are crazy in I have a passions fan since the first episode but I refuse to pay that much money to watch for that I could just switch to Direct tv.

I don’t have cable and only pick up NBC and FOX where I live. I’m a huge Passions fan; it’s just so over the top crazy you can’t help but love it. I make a descent living and have a fair amount of discretionary income to throw away on guilty pleasures. But Direct TV is off its rocker if they think they can get me to shell out $20/month for Passions.

Look, this whole thing is simply a matter of money. A large portion of Passion fanatics who want to watch are NEVER going to get Direct TV. For many it is way out of their budget and the rest of us are not going to be bullied into subscribing. Unless I’m missing something here, doesn’t Direct TV stand to gain a large chunk of change through advertising dollars by streaming this show and requiring commercials be viewed before each segment? The technology is there to do this, they were doing it quite effectively when Passions was streamed on NBC. Get creative with your advertising, don’t forget we are viewing from a computer and are just a click away from spending.

I’m praying the geniuses at Direct TV will get their heads out of their collective rump and cash in on an incredibly loyal fan base just waiting to come back and view commercials every day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year.

p.s. I just watched a few clips on NBC.com and can’t believe Silvana Arias is no longer Paloma! I loved her she is adorable.

Passions is on the SuperChannel on Bell Express VU right now in Canada, channel 329. Right now us Bell customers are enjoying a free preview of the SuperChannel and watching Passions but after this Friday we will have to subscribe to it to continue viewing. I’m definitely subscribing because Passions is one of the few things I enjoy watching on TV.

Just want to say that I love passions and have watched since the beginning and miss it alot and the characters but will not pay to watch it as I live in Canada. My daughter was even starting to watch it and keeping up with the characters. NBC should have not let it go.

A lot of big mistakes were made by the “fat cats” at both NBC and DirecTV. Passions is a wonderfully unique show with plot twits left and right, ratings proved we as consumers were ready for something this forward thinking. I mean come on, a hermaphrodite? Lebianism and witch craft? And we ate it up!!
What they should really do is, if they want to maintain ratings, air the previous week’s episodes online for free. And they MUST sign a deal with SoapNet to air reruns. Now what am I going to watch while eatting my bon-bons? hehe

have Passions on SoapNet. $19.95 is too much for an online show. NBC should be have done a pole before taking it off air. That was the No.1 rating daytime soap opera.

I found a site where you can read daily what happens on Passions. It’s not as good as watching it but it will keep us up with the storyline until Direct changes their mind about charging for it. It’s alittle of what I found out. Someone killed Fox. Gwen brought a baby to Harmony claiming it’s Ethen’s and Vincent is alive. Please Diect, give us our Passions back

I go home for lunch every day and I used to watch Passions. I’m extremely disappointed that NBC let the show go to Direct TV. I will not pay to watch it on the internet and I will not join Direct TV just to see one show. I can’t believe we actually needed more of the Today show. Who has that kind of time to watch it and do we really care? Passions was a great show – I will miss it – sadly.

OKay I am huge fan of passions and am missing it terribly. Still hoping that would come back on regular T.V but iknow thats probably never going to happen. I am still very peeved how they left us all hangingat the end …but ther is is now way I am paying to watch it online…my net went down for a month and for sme maybe even many, i find vido dosnt always load rigt away, not everyone has a top of the line comp!!! I feel that it should be a free service.

C’mon guys! This is great news!! I am excited to see a show taking this route. Think about it. With traditional television networks, the shows are “free” because they are paid for by advertisers. Well, that fact puts all the control in the hands of the advertisers and leaves us fans at their mercy. In a structure where fans can pay for programming, we finally have a way to be in the drivers seat of what survives.

For shows like Passions and others, that may not have huge ratings but do have devoted fans, online life is a great solution. I hope more networks start to go this direction (hello CW? You should have done this with Veronica Mars!) and give us fans a way to have some control ourselves.

I’ve been watching Passions since it first aired. I am very disappointed with NBC, the Today Show was already on long enough and even if they wanted to make it longer there were alot of other shows they could have cancelled other than Passions. I love Passions but I won’t pay to watch it. I think I have a solution if we band together on it. Why doesn’t Soap Net show it? It shows all of the other soaps. I say we get together and write Direct TV and Soap Net.

We shouldn’t have to pay to to watch episodes that have been free for years. The parent company makes more then enough money to offer this service for free. I can’t afford Direct TV, not would it work at my house surrounded by trees that block the satellite signal.
I’m out from watching my favorit show and I can tell over the last 2 weeks how much I really miss it. It’s the comical relief for my stressful day and I love the sotry lines and actors.
If the execs heard us to have there episodes on-line, maybe there change their minds and let us see them for free!

I miss watching Passions and paying 19.95 a month is a bit to much, but i have come across a website that offers 3000 different shows and hopefully passions will be on that. The cost of that is 39.00 a year. The web site is Qualitytvtopc .com . I haven’t had a chance to look over the site to much yet like i said i’m not sure if passions is even there, if not i guess i’ll order this for a month on and a month off and catch up.

I am on disability, I cannot afford to pay for the show at all, I have been watching Passions since it’s first episode. I am very upset that it left NBC and it was free with my cable. I cannot switch to DirectTV and cannot afford anymore money than I already pay, it’s rediculous. You should consider the elderly and disabled people in society that cannot afford the little things in life that we enjoy.

I think it’s too much. but maybe you could subscribe for a month, watch thos episods, unsubscribe for a month or two and then catch up since theyre gonna keep the episodes online for 8 weeks. I could afford $10 a month.
