Just grea…I was wondering whay happened?? So, Passions is cancelled…Scrubs (my/my hubbys)FAVORITE show…last ‘season’ as well…I have cable! I’m not changing either. Not much incentive to even watch TV…it;s got so much thrash and junk now!!! We stopped watching ‘Earl’ because the content has brcome sooo raunchy! Seems astho every show on TV (main networks) has to have a ‘token’ homosexualand no I don’t ‘hate’ anybody…whay ever happened to ???

This is crap. You have to have a credit card to have Direct TV. If you don’t believe in credit cards you don’t watch your show. I feel that this is one more way of taking away any thing for free, and making us pay for it. And we think Russia, Iraq, Iran,etc. are the ones with the problems and we’re free? you know as if it wasnt bad enough having to wait in suspence and waiting for Terisa and Eathan to get back together, we then have to freak out on Gwean walking in with the baby who she sys belongs to her an Eathan. I am so disappointed in the fact that passions sold out to direct tv, ive been a life long fan and now i have to go out and pay out abunch of money just to keep watching. (by the way thats not going to happen) this is stupid. Your loosing alot of fans this way. We would host passion partys with a bunch of friends to watch and this is just stupid. Congradulations on the loss in your numbers for selling out. Look me up when you decide this wasnt such a good idea and you come back to nbc.

They could at least put it on soapnet since it is a soap. I am going to miss passions. I have dish tv I pay 60.00 a month and for me to get the same channels I would have to pay 99.99 to direct tv. there is no way.
why can’t they just put it back on NBC or put it on SoapNet. I am really upset. I am really starting to think it is all for the money not the fans……

Please put it on dish tv, Soap net PLEASEEEEEEE….

I am so pissing furious at NBC I will qwuit watching this awful network. This is the 3rd soap that I have gotten hooked on and the have cancelled it./ For what to put another hour of crap with Matt Lauer Please like we really needa nother hour of the same old crap. NBC is losing viewers asd they keep showing awful tv and cancel shows that already have millions ov VIEWERS. The poweres tha be need to be fired as they sure don’t care about that viewers. No the wonder I end up watching CBS, or the Fox channels. I was told by someone at Direct TV that it would be shown on soapnet I get soapnet but it’s not on there. Shame on NBC the only show I will watch is “Days Of Our Lives” and Montel when Sylvia Browne is on. Just like ABC when Rosie left I cannot stand The View. I weatch The 6 pm evening news on ABC and that’s it. I hope they show Passions online so at least we can watch what is happening becasue like most folks I have watched Passions from the beinnging and I cannot afford Direct TV. NBC YOU SUCK

I too, have watched Passions since the begining.Yes, there are a lot of greedy execs out there in la-la land because I’m not going to get Directtv for one show!If they had any brains they would run it on soapnet or online.I read where the cast members will be taking up to a 50% pay cut when it moves, so don’t expect too many of your beloved characters to stay the course anyway.I didn’t realize 9/7 was the last air date so I was pretty teed off at how up in the air things were left. Another World which was on the air for years at least had the good sense to tie up loose ends before signing off while still leaving the plot open enough for characters to continue on other soaps.SO I guess this is the end of the line for me, hopefully soap opera digest will continue to cover the show in their magizine or another savvy Passions fan will do a webpage with the daily blow-by-blow details!

I have been watching Passions 5 days a week since it started. Passions has strung us along for years so they could get us right were they wanted us and then switch it to Direct TV. I think that was the plan to begin with. It was a conspiracy the two have been plotting for a while. It’s all about the money $$$$$$$$. I have had Direct TV in the past and it’s crap! Not even my favorite soap could get me to change back. So to HELL with Direct TV and to HELL with Passions too! P.S.( NBC is a sell out too. They have no loyalty to their viewers.)

Well I watched passions and Days via NBC and yes I have direct Tv but I won’t be watching it because Days of Our lives is now going to be on at 2:00 PM as well so unless Direct Tv changes the time i will stick with Days although I’ve watched Passions since day one I have watched Days for 25 years so Bye Bye Passions guess I’ll have more free time now Sad to have to make a choice. NBC got us hooked then dumped Passions then when Direct Tv took it on NBC decided to move Days to the same time. I don’t think it will stand long because people have watched Days alot longer than Passions and personally this witch crap gets pretty annoying anyhow, I enjoy the rest but have started to tape Passions so I can fast forward through the witch part anyhow.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been watching Passions since it first aired. I was not sure about it at first, but have really grown to love it over the years. Actually, when I was working I made sure my tape was in the vcr every morning before I left and I watched it every night when I got home. I really hate to see it leave. I am glad to see Ethan and Theresa are finally together even though Alister has come back from the dead once again.

I really hate that Passions is being moved!!! I have a cable TV bundle package and switching to DirectTV would ruin the savings break that my family is currently getting through the bundle. Furthermore my fiance’ would have a fit if we moved from cable because there are certain channels we get through cable that he can’t live without. I really, seriously hope that NBC reconsiders their decision or at least offering it through cable somehow or the Soap Network channel (the one that shows re-runs of episodes on cable). At least then those who have regular TV could probably afford it by paying for that one channel or just that group of channels through cable. I am a working professional with a Master’s Degree whose only crazy and zaney outlet is to record and watch Passions in the evening. Sure the plot is crazy, sometimes unbelievable, can drag on but the characters are good actors, most are good to look at and the plot always comes around one way or another. I think the writers are genuis on how they continue and extend the love triangle theme throughout for everyone… I will surely miss the show and am terribly angry with NBC about this decision. I think all of us fans need to flood their offices with letters of complaint and boycot the station!!!!

NBC- i truely feel bad for you, to think you’re being smart you’re not you’re going to LOSE even more viewers because some of us only tune in for PASSIONS. i dont care who thinks the show is stupid i once did but you did get caught on certain story lines not that some of it isnt stupid but its funny either way. so to people who are hating on the show why are you wasting your flipping time writing? get a life idiot. go watch another hour of the today show. nbc i pity your soul.

I am extremely upset about Passions moving to Direct TV! I’ve been a fan since the show came to NBC. I’ll miss it like crazy because I am a huge soap opera fan and watching it everyday makes it seem as if I am a part of their lives! Okay, I’m addicted!! Since I only have antenna channels I will no longer be able to watch Passions..

I, like many of those here do not have directtv and cannot afford it…Passions is one of my favorite soaps and I hate the thought of it going off cable…you are doing an injustice to everyone…please make sure it is available online to view if you are thinking of taking it off cable.

I am heart sick that NBC will no longer carry Passions. I have watched it from the very beginning. I cannot afford Direct TV. I think this is so unfair to the faithful viewer’s to allow this program to leave.
I have a lot of health issues and TV is all I have.
Please NBC keep the program on.

this is bs to see passion leave nbc to direct tv i have watch passion from the very first show. if your going to put it on sattlelite at least put it on soap net where we all can watch it I hate direct tv it not as good as dish. also leave it on nbc for the poor people that cant afford it. no one want to watch paid programming on the regular tv for 2hours a day. and please nbc do not start another soap like sunset beach it really suck. passion is so much better

Passions is the worst soap opera ever to appear on day time television. I use to be a huge fan until I realized how BAD it is…there is no storyline, the actors cannot act, the magic stuff they try to stick in is so out of place and inappropriate!! I am glad its finding a ‘new home’; if only they had canceled it altogether.
For a real storyline and great acting watch General Hospital, One Life to Live, All My Children or Days of our Lives..

I am so happy to learn that Passions is not canceled and that i can wathc it on Directv. I record it every single day and watch it every night. I am very disappointed for the people who willnot be able to continue to watch, sorry. I am also disappointed to learn that it will only be on for 4 days a week, i need my 5 day a week Passions’ fix, please keep it on 5 days even bring it on over the weekend if you can. JUST SO HAPPY I CAN STILL WATCH MY FAVORITE TV SHOW, IT IS SILLY, BUT THIS IS WHAT MAKES MY LIFE SO NORMAL.

I have direct tv, but this website doesn’t mention what channel that it will air on. However, I am pretty upset that it changed, because I won’t be able to record both Days of Our Lives and Passions. I work during the day, so I have my vcr tape it and I watch it an the evening. I then tape back over it.
