TV show description:
This reality series follows Billy Mays and Anthony “Sully” Sullivan, two of the most famous and successful infomercial pitchmen in history. They travel the country in search of inventions that they believe they’ll be able to take to the big time.
In each episode, the odd couple of pitchmen become potential dream merchants for the inventors they discover — most of whom have staked everything they own on their inventions. For these lucky individuals, Billy and Sully falling in love with their products and deciding to pitch them to the masses could be the turning point that changes their lives forever.
Unusual products include acoustic shark repellant, a folding grill, odor-removing spray, heel-repairing balm, a shoe cushion, resistance bands, and manual-lifting straps.
Will the hopeful inventors fall short or, with Billy and Sully’s backing, run their gadgets all the way to glory?
Episode 22 — On a Wing and a Prayer
A fitness tool is pitched by a fighter pilot, a retired pitchman emerges with a new product, and Sully coaches three junior pitchmen.
First aired: March 8, 2011.
What do you think? Are you sorry to hear that Pitchmen was cancelled after two seasons?
