Farewell, Pivot. Today, the network posted a goodbye video to fans before it officially closes down at the end of October.
Earlier this year, Pivot announced they would be shutting down after only three years. The cable network aired programming aimed toward the young adult audience and included original series like Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s HitRecord on TV and Raising McCain, a talk show hosted by Meghan McCain.
Fans of the Pivot series Fortitude need not worry, though. The series will still air a second season on a U.S. network TBD. Pivot closes down on October 31st.

What do you think? Did you watch Pivot? Are you sad the network is shutting down?
I am so disappointed that pivot is gone. I am 51 years old and loved pivot. We need a channel that offers real documentaries. History, TLC, Discovery and others used to have shows that were meaningful, now it’s all reality crap. Too bad the higher ups can’t stick with something. It’s all about the money, Jerry!
Pivot offered innovative programming while bringing back some hidden nostalgic gems. This was a channel whose loss is a dire omen for any others seeking to innovate on dish or cable.
I am sad to see Pivot go. It was one of our favorite channels. I would say i spent 25% of our tv watching on this channel. 3 years isn’t enough time to gain traction. Heck, i didn’t discover the channel til about a year ago.
I am really disturbed to learn pivot hasgiven up and makes me wonder if they were pressured by the corporate giants who are destroyigour planet and life as we know it. I hopetheu change their mind and come back we NEED THEM and more programming like Pivot .
what a shame:) no other channels had the balls to show what PIVOT & aljezra did. sad day for truth & independence!
I am so saddened about this. I enjoyed this and it was my favorite go to station, Veronica Mars got my interest first. Then I started to get into it. I will miss PIVOT. This is a sad day for me.
