Prison Break: Petition to Continue the Cancelled TV Show

Prison BreakFOX’s president, Kevin Reilly, has announced that Prison Break is ending after four seasons on the air. The drama once attracted over 10 million viewers each week but the ratings have fallen to an average of 6.1 million. That’s a lot of people but fewer than the network wants to keep a show on the air.

It looks like the producers will be allowed to finish off the series but, with all of the many ongoing storylines, it seems highly unlikely that all of viewers’ questions will be answered. And what about being able to see the characters’ lives afterwards?

Would you like to see Prison Break continue – either for additional episodes or for a follow-up TV movie? Millions still watch the show every week and care about what happens to the characters.

If you’d like to see Prison Break continue in some form, there are a few things you can do:

Tell your friends and family members to tune in and watch the show on FOX. If that’s not possible, encourage them to watch online. Maybe one of them is secretly a “Nielsen family” or knows one.

Write to FOX and let the network know how you feel. Remember to keep it civil. Everyone responds best to courtesy.

Sign the petition below and let the network execs know that you’ve signed it. Spread the word and ask others to do the same. You can even tell your favorite falsely-accused felon.

We, the undersigned, consistently watch and enjoy Prison Break on FOX. This TV show has been an action-packed thrill ride, right from the very first episode. Though the story may have had a few missteps, we don’t want to see it end just yet.

We are truly upset to hear that it has been decided to end this show. Please consider continuing Prison Break in some way – either for more episodes or for follow-up TV movies. There are so many interesting characters and intriguing storylines that we don’t want to see the story end. We are just a few of this show’s millions and millions of fans who look forward to watching every week.

    Prison Break is a wonderful show that I ever see , I liked it , but I don't like Michael Scofield's death , it is unexpected for me . I like to see more seasons on Tv & internet.

    Please bring back Prison Break season 5 or even more than that!!! This is a great show and many of us love that show too! There has not been many shows that keep you glued to the TV wanting more and this is definately one that I could watch and keep watching over and over. The acting was great by all and the viewers love this show. Give us back what we want so much. The ratings would be great too I know it!!!

    Really hope these messages are read. We never saw Michaels body therefore I feel like he could be brought back easily! Best show I've seen and I don't think ill ever see a show like it, I've Referred it to countless people just in the last few days. Really wish I would have seen it a long time ago

    I just finished prison break 5 minutes ago, I just wish SOOOOOO much that it would continue, and maybe even break out of prison again, this has been my favorite show and it only took me a few months to finish. I was addicted to this and want to keep it on the air.

    Please bring back prison break this show was super awesome and intense. If you do bring it hopefully you can write in michael back into the story that he fake his death in order to free sara and save his family. BRING BACK PRISON BREAK! !!! :)

    Please bring back prison break!!!! You can say Michael faked his death and his son gets into some trouble so he has to help. He couldn't come back any sooner because there was another group of people that was watching him. That's why the guards at the prison where Michael supposedly "died" never found his body. I started watching prison break a couple months ago and I finished seasons 1-4 in about 3 weeks. It is honestly the best show I have ever seen!!!! PLEEAAASSSEEEEE BRING THE SHOW BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My brother told me about this show so I started watching it on Netflix. I have finished watching the seasons and I'm soooooo sad it's over. This is the greatest show EVER and I LOVE it. It can't end there. I really wish there was a season five coming out . Please please please make us all happy and make another season!!!! :)

    I just watched all 4 seasons of prison break over the last few weeks on Netflix. I can't believe it's over and that the show was cancelled. I loved the uniqueness of the show, the brains of Michael and the brawn of Lincoln. I want the story to continue. It can't just end like that it can't.
