i think there should be a season 5 not only that the final break was heartbreaking i thought you could have had a bit of good out of it, its not because the ratings went down that you thought enough is enough you fox cundt be A**ED carring on the story line and let all the public and FANS down, its not fair we should have the choice wether there is another season not fox..

i didn’t like series finale much
-from the 2nd to 21st episose of the 4th season the “equipe” had a lot of troubles but kellerman came suddenly and solved everything. quite “easy” ending
-i didn’t like the “4 years later” part. it should have ended on the day, or few days later than the beginning of the episode
-oh “the final break”, it was the worst thing about prison break. no revelations about nothing except one of the main characters’ fate (gretchen). another main character in prison, another prison escape planned by michael… boring

it was one of the few action-dramas i’ve ever watched but it ended very weak. i miss 2nd season where fugitives travelled inter-state, for their own dreams and sometimes their paths crossed.

The end leaves no hope for possibilities of season 5 in the future. The finality of Michael’s death leaves nothing to the imagination, of possible continuation of the series. Even if you have to end the show, atleast leave us with hope! The ending leaves nothing for us to think about or hope for. I wish I never even saw the last episode- pointless!!!!!!!!!!

I know the show has ended but it does have a lot more loose story lines, that the rest of the cast could finish up!!! I did love the show a lot I didn’t miss an episode! You guys could’ve showed a bit more of Sara’s and Micheal’s relationship towards the end. I mean about Sara carrying to term and Micheal being in the hospital for his problem. What did Micheal have Cancer?? Micheal’s son growing up instead of him being 2 or 3 at the grave site where Micheal was barried. The rest was an excellent ending to a perfect story, line!! You guys could’ve also, shown Linc’s relationship with his family as well…..didn’t he a wife??? I will be buying the whole series to see if I missed ANY THING AT ALL!!!

I am really bothered by the tombstone on the finally listing Michaels life as 10/74 to 11/05… It doesn’t fit. Earlier in the season, when Cristina leaves the doctored pic for LInc, he says thats a 78 car, Michael was born in 76… why didn’t the writers remember that. It really irks me. Other than that I loved the finale, but I hated that Michael died. I hope the movie gives a few more answers. I am really going to miss prixon break!

it was a LOUSY ENDING, with no regard for the fans feelings.. there are a thousand and one ways to offset Michael’s “guilt ” without killing him, but the producers rushed everything, in their hurry to get more money, insulting their viewers by having Michael suddenly turn stupid; by having the group escape to Costa Rica who has an Extradition Treaty with the US, therefore they can easily be brought back to the US.. the 4 of them, they’re all conspirators (for the escape of Sara), therefore they’re fugitives, and and we see them freely going around Costa Rica.. you’re insulting us Matt Olmstead and company. and you’d like to kiss the a.. of the director– during that scene, after Sara came out of the bldg. and no Michael followed, it was good the director didn’t make Sara, Lincoln, Sucre, and Mahone clap their hands. I wanted to throw my pc out the window and hope it will land all the way into Fox.!!

I expected to rewatch prison break many times on DVD….. But I will not be watching it again. Michael’s death (though not seen to give true finality) leaves a sour taste in the mouth after we the viewers have shared so much struggle with him. With the gloom and economic doom shrouding the world, was it too much to ask that Michael survives. Where’s the hope? The PB writers are hacks if they think there is any Karma in this ending. Karma would be them ending up as dung beetles in their next life rolling up the scraps of this horrible horrible ending they have contrived very lazily and with no care for the fans whatsoever.

Few shows are ever allowed a finale … and allot fewer ever make a truly memorable conclusion. Prison Break is unique in my opinion as having accomplished both. I’ll miss the characters and excitement the show presented from the start. Thank you, Olmstead and to the cast of Prison Break!!

I loved this show. i only started watching it a month ago and was able to catch up in time for the series finale. The finale was not great. After everything that michale and sara and everyone else went through, i just thought it would end better than that. Ok, if he dies then ok, but he had no time with sara or his child. He and sara were married for like 10 minutes and then she was taken off to jail. She was charged with killing michales mother, And i do beleive that she should have been exonerated along with everyone else. I think the producers were really reaching when they were trying to write a movie to “fill in the gaps”, but to me it let it made more than it filled. I think there could have been more things they could have done with the show, but it would have had to been really good to get the ratings back up. I seriously thought for a moment that michaels death had been faked to get away from the cops, but i guess i was way wrong. i hope the producers read these opinions from the fans and take every word into consideraton for possiably doing something else with the show.

It really doesn’t matter which ending they chose for the series, because the final season was so poor it really doesn’t matter.

The story line just went all over the place in season 4, there was nothing consistent. Everything changed every 10 minutes. That’s not brilliant, that’s not creative, that’s lacking a solid storyline.

Really, was anyone *convinced* of what happened in season 4? It all looked so made up at the spot. It is like they thought of the story of each episode just before they recorded it.
Besides the story line, the biggest downfall of the last season was the dialogs of the characters. It seemed that besides Michael no one had a real personality. They just said random things with no purpose or meaning.

Weren’t you tired of hearing someone from the Burrows’ team make a bad joke about the situation, and then getting a serious reply from Link that “it ain’t funny!” – What’s with that?!

The final episode was just the final nail in the coffin (no pun intended).

Season 3 wasn’t that great either, but at least it was pretty much consistent, and actually had something serious going on there.

So to me it doesn’t really matter whether Michael lives or dies at the end, it has no meaning whatsoever. The series should have ended after the first season, maybe the second. But I’m not naive, it’s about money and ratings, so they made S3, S4… thank god they made it stop.

one question for any one michaels tomb stone had the date 2005 on it ??

did they film all the seasons back then … it may have said four years later but that would make the tomb stone still say 2009 and the year they were in at the end would be 2013

AAn amazing and tremendous tv series.BEST EVER

I totally broke down in tears @ d end.

Michael Scoffield was a real heros, never neglecting anyone. He didnt live to enjoy much but he died a fufilled man cos he saw the General brought to Justice n Lincoln a free man.
The smiles on sarah’s face@d end was comforting.
everyone has got their lives back.

I knew Felicia liked Mahone from the very beginning.

I just finished watching the finale, and it left me feeling quite content with the ending. I think that the writers did an amazing job of tying up loose ends. I think that it couldn’t have ended any better. Sarah is left to raise their child who is honored with his fathers name. Mahone plagued by the guilt and loss of his son cannot return to the wife he loves but finds some comfort in the arms of Felcia (the only soul who believed him in his darkest hour). Bagwell betrays the brothers and we find him reverted back to the only thing he truly knew (being T-Bag). That decision lands him back rotting in jail for the rest of his life. Sucre and Miles get to do the only thing they ever wanted to do by being with their families. The General gets fittingly excecuted. Even Kellerman has to live with the guilt of the things he’s done while striving to “be the change he wants to see in the world”. Link lives out the life that Micheal wanted him to have (thus the whole premise of breaking Link out of jail in the first place). Micheal succombs to his illness, balancing out the trail of death and destruction that he left, and ultimately being the sacrificial lamb (so to speak) so that all the others might live. I absolutely loved it. I can se great care was taken in crafting the final outcome of each character and how to portray their end. I think that if Micheal had lived “happily ever after”, then you have to let the general live and T-bag be exhonorated, Self get his brain back, and Mahone would go back to his wife and have another child that would somehow “replace” the son that they had lost….. Do you see why everything just can’t work out to be “happily ever after”? Self can’t get his Brain back, Mahone can’t get his son back, or his broken marriage, the general can’t magically have a change of heart and swear allegience to the “good guys”. And after everything T-Bag has done he can’t just stop being T-Bag….

(Michael dying, t-bag not dying, etc.) Thought since the writers had done such a great job the last 4 years they would have been able to put together a finale that would have a great/satisfying/happy ending, guess I was wrong…….

That last episode sucked. Let’s randomly bring back to life everyone you thought was dead, and have all your enemies act like complete morons. Perhaps the most exemplary bit was when Christina’s henchmen decided to have a firefight with multiple opponents standing in plain view for all of them to shoot him while they took cover. Yeah.

It saddens me to see a show I once enjoyed end so poorly. But at least it’s obvious why it needed to be put to rest.

I am terribly upset and disappointed with the ending of Prison Break. I grew to adore Michael and why after so many agonizing years on the run did he have to be killed off? What’s happened to “living happily ever after”? In todays world where there are so many ubhappy endings it would have been nice to give American fans a good old fashion happy ending.

I’ve been placing question marks with Lincolns potential assassination, why would Christina go and kill him when she needs him to stage an assassination?
