The new season centers on Michael Scofield (Miller), who once resolved to help his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), escape from death row. In the revival, despite being presumed dead, clues indicate Michael may still be alive. The cast also includes Sarah Wayne Callies, Mark Feuerstein, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar, Paul Adelstein, Augustus Prew, Rick Yune, and Inbar Lavi.
In the interview, Miller revealed there are a few surprises in store for season five:
We’ve got a couple surprises in store. I actually lobbied for the return of Westmoreland and Bellick, easier said than done considering that they are deceased [laughs].”
And will there be more Prison Break? Miller says he thinks there could be:
I wouldn’t rule it out. I feel like there’s more story there and now we’re talking about multiple generations. There are a lot of different directions that we could go, but I’m not in favor of exploring any of that unless there’s something awesome that we can sink our teeth into.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of Prison Break? Are you enjoying the revival?
