During the summer I wanted to see what pushing daisies was about and I really enjoyed and it was great. Now I’ll be going back to middle school wondering why can’t I find any tv shows as wonderful as this. I will never enjoy another show like I did this one unless they decide to make 3 more seasons, because this was like the greatest show on the earth. Better than all these anime shows I watch. Way better than 30 rock, the office, south park, and family guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really lame!

Finally there was a show with some wit, some great banter, a fun story line, fast moving so only the intelligent amongst us could keep up with it. You actually had to pay attention to the dialogue or get left in the dust…No wonder it’s been cancelled!!!
What a great shame…the story line was imaginative, the charactors a lot of fun, the premise clever…I for one will miss the show, it was really funny….

Even though English is not my first language, I am Italian, I have watched both Seasons of PD and I loved the refreshing, heart warming, funny approach to entertainement offered by Fuller with his imaginative TV serial. It was about time that TV show something without explicit sex, foul language, drugs usage, etc,etc. Obviously in this pathetic world filled with hate, something like Pushing Daisies could not last too long.
I am very sorry it is now over. Hopefully it will sold also outside the US so other people can appreciate what a wonderful show this was.

I understand ABC’s decision. I just DON’T understand how the show failed to hold an audience. It was funny, interesting, the dialogue was original and visually it was groundbreaking. I just on’t understand why audiences are ignoring this in favor of contrived swill like America’s Got Talent, Desperate Housewives and Re-Makes of 80′s and 90′s TV shows that were not that good the first time around.

absolutely brilliant ,although really off the wall humour. probably not related to by most americans, who want in your face , slapstick humour. completely original in its’ concept and execution. watched by people who know what is important tv and ignored by the rest. sad to see the execs at ABC fall into the latter catergory. get a life guys. it’s not all about ratings, is it?

I guess only the unimaginative shows with several copycat shows can survive! As a 27 year old widow I found their story to be uplifting and original and something to help me through the day. Something that would help me laugh again. Sorry to see it go!

When a show as imaginative, addicting and as absolutely beautiful and heart-warming as Pushing Daisies is cancelled, it makes you wonder just what is wrong with ABC to make them take it away from those who have come to depend on the wonderful feeling it gave them! They could have at least let the storylines play out so that we could find out what happens with Ned’s and Chuck’s dads, the pocketwatches, and pretty much everything else! I hate ABC!!

I loved this show soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!! Lee Pace is sooooo cute and a really good actor. This show was soooooo addicting. Chi Mcbride is hilarious!!! Kristen Chenoweth is only 4 11 but a whole lot of fun!! Anna Friel is sooooooo awesome and a really really good actress!! I LOVE this show!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe Pushing Daisies was cancelled!! This is horrible. You have shows out there where parents can not sit and watch with their kids and a show like this one that was one we could watch with our kids gets cancelled? How can ABC think that is good? I liked that I could watch this as a family and both the kids found it entertaining for its bizarness and visually striking imagary and I loved it for the sense of humor it had and I did not have to feel awkard for watching something that made me laugh but was inappropriate for my kids. ABC I am very disappointed in you!!

why do loads of shows in America get cancelled? when they arent even half bad.

Dunno how many will agree.. because I suppose it depends more on taste and what you like.

But in recent months there been “Kyle XY, Pushing Daisies, Terminator – Sarah Connor Chronicles (possibly), and in the past shows like Star Trek: Enterprise.

They are/were popular shows.. people even supposedly raised 3 million to try and save Star Trek Enterprise.

In the UK we all get hooked on these great american shows.. then they just get cancelled:(

Why cant we make anything decent to watch like these shows here?
Everything pretty much is american.

I’m a die hard fan of Pushing Daises. You’re probably asking, how? This might sound crazy but when i was in labor, i insisted on watching Pushing Daises first before we went to the Hospital. Thats how much im devoted to the show. It saddens me that such a great show gets canceled like that so easily. I hope that theres more people like me out there, that would like to bring back the show.

This is the only show on tv that i can watch with my kids. What is our country coming to when we would rather sit down together and watch people kill and have sex with 20 different people. On top of all that, the show is GREAT. ABC should keep it.

I used to have the greatest respect for american tv series and for the taste of american viewers. Now I don’t anymore. I don’t know who is to blame for this disapointing change.

I haven’t watched the other shows but Pushing Daisies is an extremely brilliant and tastefull show. If they can’t see that, then I really don’t know what to say.

Easy to blame poor ratings for the show’s failure – but it is quite clear that CBS has never invested marketing, cross-promotional or web resources to building the Pushing Daisies franchise. Look at the major shows out there – the marketing has been all about cross-promotion and franchise extension. CBS just doesn’t get it.

When compared to the market and ratings for other behemoth shows – yes – it clearly doesn’t measure up. Easy to blame the show and concept for not building a Hero’s market – but a CBS broader, cross-channel strategy could have done more to continue the magic. Case in point – if the franchise is so weak and ratings so dismal – seems strange that there are so many whispers of a movie option for the story and characters.

Well, don’t just pout… Watch Tomorrow! That way they get their ratings (or tape it if you’re on the road… hopefully that would work too.)

Watch it LIVE tomorrow (and any future episodes), watch it on abc.com, download it on itunes, buy/rent season 1, get your friends to watch it LIVE…. etc

We can complain on message boards all we want, but it’s clear that the only way we can change their minds is by giving them high enough ratings.

I find the cancellation of Pushing Daisies to be a real dissapointment. Since I have started watching it, its always been an attracting show and has always kept me wanting to see the next episode and kept me anxious to find out what happens next. I mean lets face it, Pushing Daisies has been better than all the trash on the other shows. Its always been pretty much a very decent show. I would prefer they cancel another show but its up to them I guess. But as soon as they do cancel it they will find out what a huge mistake they made taking a good thing that was very much liked.

I’m hoping for at the very least another short season or just something. It’s a real shame, this is my fav tv show on right now. ABC hardly gave it a chance to gain its fanbase cutting it off until Fall after the writer’s strike, giving it one of the smallest rooms at Comic-Con and leaving long periods between eps. *sigh* Well, still glad we got it at all.

Sadly I kind of supsected this would happen when they only gave us what would have been the rest of season one for this season that they call season two. It sucks and happens all too often. It’s like you have to go in with the thought that if you really enjoy a show that the odds are good that it will be cancelled. It’s just such a shame since Pushing Daisies is a really great show.

This is a variation on the usual euphemism, “been put on hiatus”. We all know what that means, in a couple of months they add “permanent” before hiatus. It will still never have been officially canceled… That doesn’t mean that they will ever be another episode done, just that networks rarely cancel shows. They put then on hiatus.

It just figures. Cancel a great show (with heart) like “Pushies Daisies” and keep that-train-wreck-of-a-show “Heroes” on the air. Don’t get me wrong, I used to loooooove “Heroes,” but it doesn’t know which end is coming or going anymore.

“Pushing Daisies,” on the other hand, is sweet, charming, well-acted, smartly-written, and…oh wait, there’s the problem, it’s smart. Same thing happened to “Firefly.”

First of all Bryan Fuller has not made any decision to go to Heroes….so don’t start predicting the future. CAUSE YA KNOW WHAT!!!!

Pushing Daisies will get renewed and will survive long enough for us all to see the end how it was meant to be.

I have to agree. I think rumors of a third season are totally wishful thinking on somebody’s part. A network like ABC doesn’t renew a show with that sized audience. Of all the things that you suggested to do to help the show, you didn’t mention getting more people to watch it — the only thing that networks are really interested in.

There are rumours from inside Daisies going around that PD will get a third season instead of a back-nine order and will start production again in May for the fall season.
I am fine with that as long as we get more episodes.

I read on the Defamer blog that someone on the set of this long struggling show says it has baked it’s last pie, in other words the show is done.
