I still miss Pushing Daisies – one of the best shows on TV in a long time! This show was what TV should be: creative, great actors, clever dialogue, different… not more of the same. “Reality” shows (not even really reality – just cheaper for the network to produce) are a dime a dozen. Pushing Daisies was what I want to watch television for. I don’t watch as much anymore. I wish they would bring it back!

I was really sad when I heard that Pushing Daisies was going to get cancelled. I love it so much and although I am getting the DVD’s to remember all the good things I know it wont be the same. I hope someone picks it up and continues it. ABC SUCKS now, Grey’s Anatomy has been dead for a long time now and now there is nothing left to watch.

I’m soooooo sick of good shows being cancelled. If you want to cancel, whatever, at least let the story play out. Give us some closure. They did that to Wedding Bells, I’m sick of getting into a good show to have it cancelled!!!!!

My family and I absolutely loved Pushing Daisies! It was such a cute show! And funny too. We will definately miss it now that it won’t be on anymore… I wish they would bring it back.

Well, ABC has cancelled the only shows that I watched on their channel. Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money and Samantha Who. P. Daisies was the most interesting show with the best dialogue and look. The best, best, best dialogue!!!! The most unique show out there also. It seems like they create a good show only to cancel it. Nothing left for me to watch on ABC. Very sad.

I think the worst thing about all this is looking at ABC’s fall lineup.

Dancing with the Stars(who this season aren’t even stars), Private Practice(an insubordinate spin off of the slowly fading Grey’s Anatomy, another show on their schedule), and Supernanny? Come on, if this is what America really wants to watch, everyone has severely been dumbed down. This show was brilliant. Unfortunately, I think Fuller is gonna have to go Whedon’s route and base a series off of a movie he made before he can actually get one to last. So obnoxious that all of his great shows just get cut down in their prime repeatedly.

Well, I discovered that indeed, yes, that was the last episode. The only thing i can think of to add is how does that offer closure. ABC, please reconsider this show or let another station handle it’s complexity if you are incapable.

I absolutetly loved this show, and im absolutely devastated that ABC cancelled it. I, like many viewers im sure, missed the final episode unless it is where Emerson is duped out of his little daughter. Also, the reason for why ABC cancelled it is because (and this seems most logical), they weren’t ready for such a great corcky funny different show. Clearly the only reason why anyone with common sense would cancel such an amazing, uplifting, amusing show would be that they simply can’t handle it. The cancellation of this show makes me wonder if people have lost progress by reverting to reality shows and other bogus unentertaining wroks. The cancellation also makes me wonder if ABC has finally lost it’s ability to entertain even the simplest of humans.

I looked forward to this show every week, because it was one of the only shows on TV with an interesting and creative take on life and one’s surroundings!! As a former “Friends” fan, currently stuck in a world of reality TV shows, I found very little to keep my attention. This show is a gem, and ABC should consider similar shows in the future!

I missed the last episode of PD. I was shocked when I read that it WAS the last episode! I eagerly looked foreward to each episode, even waiting months in between episodes. Please, rerun the finale again. Perhaps even the whole series as reruns. I swear, it was the only show I actually looked foreward to watching.

I love that show!! It’s one of the best conedies or just t.v. shows that I’ve seen in a very long time. It was charming, whimsical and any time I watched I felt happier as corny as that sounds. PD was awesome and ABC is just plain dumb for getting rid of it. I don’t much care for ABC constantly cramming reality tv down my throat. I’m tired of seeing people in well planned and thoughtout situations win money its ridiculious and really an insult to my intellgence.

I’m in Asia and we just got the final episode of PD here yesterday. I had no idea the show was ending until I saw the final few minutes. I sat with my mouth open (really!) at the appalling idiocy of ABC. This was a gem of a show. I agree with all the comments about reality TV shows. Ugh! Finally with PD there was a show that was not only original and creative, but witty, charming and uplifting. Each episode left me with a warm glow – almost as if I’d had a slice of Ned’s pie. Isn’t that what we need in these difficult times? To the ABC execs who made this decision: Hang your heads in shame!

Gave me the chills, such a shame to take away a show that stimulated the brain. The reason they take shows like this and arrested developement, as well as Earl is for the simple fact that it’s easier to just show a bunch of dumbass reality show actors so they can be lazy. We are forced to watch this garbage if its all that’s on. Pushing daiseys got amazing reviews. ABC along with the rest of Tv has been brutally murdered and no touch will bring them back. Ironcally reality tv is faker than story driven gems like PD. F*ck you ABC

i would really like to see this show again with new episodes and I dont really think that it should be made in to a movie it wouls loose the feeling of wanting more and being so happy next week when you finally get to see how the charcters bounce back from whatever happened last week but with a movie it just doesn’t have the same effect and you aren’t as happy with the turn out. Its just not a good Idea

I agree! Personally, I think that if you are not going to have a real ending to the show you should have a movie, even a made for T.V. movie would be nice. It would give the fans a sense of closure, even more so than a comic book.

I was hoping that the widespread use of DVRs would help prevent the rampant cancelling of the few good shows we get. We can’t always watch every show we like because many are competing in the same time slots. I’m sure the networks get instant lists of how many people are tuning in and, with DVRs, they can also see what’s being recorded. I thought this might help save some of the shows. Guess not because almost every show I like has been cut. I just don’t get it. There are so many channels now, why do they insist on airing nothing but reality show garbage. I’m interested in stories, plots and characters (with different personalities, not a show with 10 people all acting & reacting exactly alike)

Why doesn’t ABC get smart like ABC Family and other networks that break up the TV season? Then shows have a much LARGER viewing audience and we have a wide variety of new episodes throughout the year!

Any show that is smartly written and entertaning seems to go bye-bye. People must get more and more stupid because all they want to show is The Bachelor or The Bachelorette or Dancing with the Stars. Something with great writing, acting, and quirky plots that keep your interest seems to be of little concern to studio executives.

Pushing Daisies is such a show. I would hope that someone else would see it as its fans do and keep it alive. But everything in TV revolves around the Dollar, and we all know what happens to a show that does not hold up to the scrutiny of one Mr. Neilsen.

i was overjoyed to see the brief return of the most original show on tv last saturday. seeing the last three episode death march only made me sadder. yes, it’s good to know the story will live on in comic book form. but honestly, i’d much rather seeing tv movies, maybe miniseries, or actual theatrical movie than comic book because…i don’t read comic books.

Wow, I can’t believe this. The networks are cutting most of my favorite shows. This is another one that’s going to leave us. I loved how it was so bright and cheerful. Kristin Chenoweth as Olive is my favorite actor. I looked forward to seeing the show because of her acting skills, and the character she plays. I’m going to miss this show. I can’t believe they’re going to cancel another great show. I’m so disappointed. I’m not really into comics so much. I’d rather watch it on the television.

this is the death of television. considering whats on tv a show like DAISIES is what tv is supposed be not reality tv. we get enough reality. we got a fine gem with this show i pray someone grabs it and it takes off and haha abc then. Comics are great… but I too wish that Pushing Daisies could live on in its original format; picked up by another network, whatever… I just don’t think that the true heart of the show can be adequately captured by a graphic novel.

I watched last night’s episode and can’t believe how much I miss this show. It’s been so long since the last ep aired, it would have been nice to have a “Previously on….” to start things. Comics are nice, but I’m not really into that. Wish someone like Sci Fi or AMC would have taken a chance on the Pie Hole.
