I am probably the last one to make a comment about this shows’ cancellation, but let me just say that before I had to give up my cable service (due to the economic downturn), I NEVER missed an episode. It was one of the most fabulous show on TV…I had hoped the spin-off “Q ueer Eye for the Straight Girl” wud be as successful (I dearly wanted to be on it) but, they cancelled that VERY QUICKLY. I have seen Carson on commercial TV more than I have seen the others and he is as delightful as ever. Hope you all re-unite soon for old-time sake. Miss you lots!

The last show was very anti-climatic.. Very sad. When they showed the preview for it, it seemed like the guys would get to acknowledge the end and say goodbye to the viewers.

After watching the series finale, it just left us empty. We would love some closure.

As many before me, I have followed ***** Eye from the very beginning and am incredibly sad to see the show cancelled. For awhile, I used to think that I’d be able to be on the show once I was old enough (I’m 17 now), but my hopes have been cast aside with the end of season three. Fab Five, wherever you are, you reached so many people through your show and you’ve truly touched my heart. I’m sure I can say the same for most people here. In a way, I feel like I know you, even if your nowhere near the Twin Cities. Thank you for giving us all an experience to remember. We love ‘ya guys. (And best of luck where ever the wind takes you.)

The show was cancelled because all five of the principals DECLINED TO RENEW THEIR CONTRACTS. Bravo would happily have renewed the show – in fact, that’s why the announcement was delayed, because Bravo was trying to entice them back. Don’t blame Bravo or NBC – the guys decided it was time to move on.

I loved ***** Eye for the Straight Guy! Why in the world would Bravo take it off when it had such a huge following? I’m really puzzled over this. Does anyone have an answer as to why it was cancelled?

I loved ***** Eye for the Straight Guy……why in this world do TV execs take off the best shows and leave so many stupid shows…it amazes me….I think they are absolutely not in the real world….and cannot relate to what we really like. My love to the FAB 5!!!

I totally agree with everyone else here. I’d wake up early just to watch that show. It was the best thing on tv at 11am! One morning I woke up, tuned into NBC like clockwork, then i realized it wasn’t on anymore and I started freaking out! Those 5 guys were hilarious, and their food, grooming, and apartment makeover tips were the tops. I’ll miss those crazy dudes. Please put them back on NBC!!!

Will the Fab 5 episode filmed on horseback in Central Park, NY be shown this summer? Seemed to be a great idea. Sorry the show was cancelled, hope to see it continued during the 11 a.m. slot weekdays.

what is the tease all about. ive been watching the show faithfully and it is my laugh medicine for the day. even though i love all the guys that carson was a diamond in the ruff. if i could find the qualities of all 5 men rolled into one straight guy that would be great, but for now i need my FAB FIVE please NBC reconsider. if only you knew what youve done to so many of us. give us our girls back!!!!!

What happened to ***** Eye at 11 am on weekdays? I looked forward to their excellent advice, good deeds and humor every day, and was soooo disappointed to find the show wasn’t on this morning! I love the Fab 5–the best 5 people on TV!!!! Please do not deprive us of the Fab 5, NBC!!!

I would hope that ***** Eye would make a come back. As i am a staunch follower of all of the episodes ever since it started airing on Malayisan television.
I am indeed shocked or stunned at the immediate dismiss of ***** Eye. In fact, the five of you are my idols. It is definitely a great loss to the reality show industry, I would say. Anyway, the Fab Five will always be remembered. Wishing all the best to the Fab Five in their future undertakings!!!.

Check your local listings. When the Megan Mullally Show was cancelled last month, NBC offered ***** Eye as a replacement.

I am deeply hurt that Fab 5 is no longer airing on TV anymore. I actually met Carson while actually taping one of the now last episodes of ***** Eye at my former job, Mexx. He was really flirtatious. Of course, I had to flirt back. I think that’s how I was able to be on camera. Anyway, I will miss the show and I wish the five well in their future endeavors. David

It’s actually not true, that the 5 didn’t know when they finished taping if they would be coming back or not. Everyone on the show knew ***** Eye was going to be ending for good that summer as early as December 2005. The reason the show ended was because the Fab Five’s contracts were due to end in August 2006 and none of them wanted to renew. The nonsense about waiting till the end of the year to decide is total bs. By the end of last summer, they’d already broken the production, relocated to LA (Scout don’t even have an office in NY anymore) and all the cast amd crew had found new jobs.
The finale is a “straight guy pageant” where 25 of the past makeovers compete in shaving, cake deocrating and flower arranging contests to be named Mr Straight Guy. It was taped before a live studio audience, mostly fans, so it’s totally stupid for Bravo to now think that can keep it secret.
