Similar comments……wife and I enjoyed the show. Sitting here tonight I was thinking, “hey, whatever happened to Raising the Bar?” Schedules are so screwy now you never know when a show is suddenly back on for another season (whether a “season” is six episodes, ten, or whatever). So I did my checking and now find it’s dead meat. Bring it back, somebody. We WILL watch it.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT “RAISING THE BAR” WAS NOT RENEWED. I HAVE WAITED, AND WAITED FOR THE RETURN. I FINALLY WENT ON LINE AND FOUND OUT IT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. ARE YA’LL CRAZY. Loved watching Raising the bar was one of the best tv shows in a long time, very disappointed it has been canceled, loved the cast and the story lines. this was the only program that I made sure my dvr was set to record so I did’nt miss it.Hope they play the remaing episodes look forward to it, and maybe they’ll change there minds and put it back onthe air.

Like everyone else I waited patiently and wondering when the hell was Raising the Bar starting season 3….but nothing!!! What the heck was TNT thinking when it cancelled the show, it was a great show. The characters were awesome and Mark Paul was great in his portrayal of “Kellerman”, loved it when he cut his hair. I recorded every episode and can’t believe I won’t have any closure, I hate it when the do that. You get all involved in a TV series and then they yank it off the air I loved Raising the Bar and they should focus on the show’s fans not on the low ratings!!!

I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! What a huge let down. what is going on with the let downs. You made sure we all new Saving Grace was ending{what a total let down,the ending was not worth my time}. I kept checking TV listings to no avail so I logged on to your website and found out the bad news. I didn’t even get to see the last 3 episodes because I wasn’t looking for the show until now. Why wasn’t the return of “Raising the Bar” advertised better?! I would think that would be one of the reasons alot of the audience missed it. I waited patiently for some onformation on the return and if I hadn’t been flipping through the channels, I would have missed it. In this age of
dvr’s and other types of recording mechansims, this show would have been recorded, if not watched during the time it was aired by viewers. It was a well written show, great storylines, fantastic cast. It amazing how the peolple that make the big bucks make the worst decisions.

I cannot BELIEVE that TNT cancelled “Raising the Bar”. The first season was incredible. Granted, the second season was a letdown: it was as if Steven Bochco forgot how the first season ended, because the premiere and the remaining episodes had nothing to do with the first season’s cliffhanger. I must admit; I was disappointed. Nevertheless, I didn’t write it off. Then, Christmas Eve, TNT showed three back-to-back new episodes that were absolutely dynamic! I was completely engrossed. I thought “THIS is the “Raising the Bar” I know and Love”. The episodes were fabulous — Steven Bochco got his creative juices flowing and he brought it! After watching these three episodes, I KNEW TNT would have to bring this show back for a third season… and I was anxiously awaiting the continuation ’cause the cliffhanger was gripping! However, sadly enough, this was not to be the case. TNT chose to leave its viewers unsatisfied: never knowing the outcome. Unfortunately, TNT doesn’t know a quality show when they have it.

TNT chose to bring back “Hawthorne”, but cancels “Raising the Bar”. I mean, I like “Hawthorne” (and Jada Pinkett Smith), but if I had to choose between the two, there would be no contest: “Raising the Bar” would win hands-down. What in the world is TNT thinking??

Ok, one of the big issues we have here is they base day, time slot and keeping a show based on ratings, however….if you dvr the show it doesn’t count!!! They need to fix this or no show will make it! I never watch live tv anymore (football sometimes) and all my favs are being canceled.

TNT also cancelled “Heartland” and I guess Hawthorne RN. Both should have been given a chance.
Cancelling Raising the Bar was just stupid. Maybe since NBC cancelled Law and Order, somehow, the shows could be combined. I don’t know. Maybe some movies like
in the days of Columbo, McMillan and Wife etc.

I was talking to a collegue telling him the best show on TV was Raising the Bar and he informed me that it’s been canceled. I can’t believe it! I never even read anything about it being canceled! Why do these networks promote shows so much and then not give them a chance. Raising the Bar was in it’s second season but had so many different directions to go and in the earlier shows developed story lines which left you hanging. Other quality shows such as Three Rivers and the forgotten aren’t given more then six or seven episodes before they are yanked. How can they ever develope a solid fan base if the’re not given time. Plus people are reluctant to follow a show from it’s beginning if they get the rug yanked away from under them a coupe of times.

I went to TNT to see when this fabulous show was going to be back on, to find that it was cancelled? What lost my attention was the Closer, not Raising the Bar. I would even miss Miami CSI for this show. I suggest you find a different lead in show, or put it in a slot that will wake people up to one of the best shows ever written and made with a great cast!!!!!!

That’s a damn shame…I’m so glad they gave Dark Blue another chance. I tried to get into Raising the Bar. It was decent, maybe not my favorite, but I’d rather watch this show any day of the week and twice on Sunday before I watch another reality show. Some people take stupid to a new level trying to get those 15 minutes of fame. Sit back and take a minute. Can you think of one reality show that honestly make any damn sense? Yet they flood the TV stations with them. I’m so glad they have On Demand. That way at least I can watch what I want. It used to be a TV show with Taye Diggs and Micheal Michelle. They had this law firm. That was an excellent show also that was cancelled. That was one show that got he axe that I was highly upset about but hey what do I know….

Why must so much of television appeal to the least common denominator? The networks provide only moronic so-called reality shows and comedies that have only two subjects for their humor, sex and bodily functions.

The major networks have adjusted their business model to cater to the lowest common denominator with cheap to produce reality shows which has led viewers to the cable networks, which in my opinion have a superior product (Raising the Bar, Leverage, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, Hawthorne, Closer, etc.). I would much rather watch one of these shows than some idiot looking for his/her 15 minutes of fame.

I had hoped that by offering superior programming, the cable networks would spur competition that would cause the major networks to raise their standards. Unfortunately if shows like Raising the Bar and Dark Blue keep getting cancelled, the cable networks will be driving viewers elsewhere, too.

This was one of the best shows on TV. I am very disappointed that the show has been cancelled. I hope that they reconsider. The more people that comment maybe it will make a difference.

I hate that the show has been cancelled. I was really looking foward to season 3. Now I find out there is no more. Reality TV is taking over everything. I hope they reconsider and put it back on the air.

We are so disappointed that this program has been cancelled. What a great cast of actors and actresses. This was one of the programs we always looked forward to watching. We are so sad. I hope another network would consider picking this show up.

so sad. This was one of the best shows on the air for a long time. I hope they’ll reconsider or have another network pick it up. Such a disappointment. It’s saddening that all the smart shows are the first on the chopping block. I hope I see all these actors again. Great ensemble.
