The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Ray Donovan TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Thank you very much, CBS who now owns Showtime, for renewing the best show on pay cable since The Sopranos. Honestly, I didn’t think I would like it, but very smart scripts, an A+ director, an outstanding cast (wonderful to see the very talented but under used Paula Malcomson finally land a part that fits her like a glove). Jon Voight deserves an Emmy for his absolutely psychopathic role of Micky, the father of this clan of damaged people from Boston, but but now living in Beverly Hills (I think). James Woods was in top form as Sully, the calculating MOB hit man from the “old days” in Boston. I leave Liev Schreiber as Ray for last because somehow, he manages to be the glue that holds this group of degenerate, unstable, each bordering on psychotic, “family” together at times I would never have voted for him to keep it all together. It is to Liev Schreiber’s incredible and considerable talent that they all didn’t end up in prison in the finale. However, you can see the little cracks beginning to show, played so subtly, it could be easy to miss. Now THIS is what we expect but rarely get from Hollywood in every show or movie. After all, we do pay their inflated and mostly undeserved salaries, so we have a right to these expectations. I say congratulations to all involved in Ray Donovan! You have produced quality excellence that is a joy to wait for each week. If you are not watching it, SHOWTIME has hit the mother lode in fantastic series. No other pay channel comes close. To name a few, Homeland, Nurse Jackie, Episodes and Shameless and a few others you might like, but I don’t watch. And if RD does not win at least one Emmy next year, then we truly will all know what a sad sham they are!!

To me Ray Donovan is the greatest I am positive that it will compete with HOMELAND ( which I consider extraordinary but the sex appeal on this guy is something to consider. Really sorry I must wait until 2014 but it’s better late than NEVER. Ray Donovan I love you!
