As expected, there was a good amount of drop off between weeks one and two. Episode two drew a 2.7 rating in the demo with 8.54 million, a loss of 18%. Hopefully this will be the end of the erosion but my gut is that it isn’t. CSI easily won the timeslot this time around.
Season average: 3.0 demo with 9.28 million.
Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/21/11
It was a positive debut for Revenge with a 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.02 million viewers. That was good enough for the drama to win its timeslot. One the downside however, the series lost a lot of viewers between the start and finish of the hour. It went from a 3.8 in the demo (thanks to Modern Family) and ended with a 3.0. That’s a sign that those people who switched it off mid-way won’t be back next week.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Revenge TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

LOVE IT! DO NOT CANCEL!! CANT LIVE WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!!
It is a hit don’t cancel it.
Revenge is the best drama show we have had in along time ,I couldn’t wait
Until the next wdenesday came just to watch this show please do not cancel the show I would stop watching televsioon and this point first all my children then one life to live and then river I can’t deal with revenge so please do not cancel it
Leanne
I really hope u all make another season this is the best mystery, drama, suspense, show ever!! Please don’t leave us hanging like that I have watched revenge since day one and it hasn’t let me or my husband down looking forward to see if her mother is the ring leader and will she ever get Jack back again*
I have started 2 watch a lot of this seasons ” new shows “!! Some have been given the axe!!! If they CANCEL REVENGE I probably will stop WATCHING ABC all 2gether 4 SURE!!!!
This is the best mystery drama show series ever produced! I will change my shift at work to enable watching it if I am not able to tape it. I prefer watching it as it airs, over watching taped show. On that note I plan on buying the series! I tell everybody who has not watched it that this is “the feel good” show for all of us who have ever had somebody bully, torment or torture us emotionally and felt powerless to stop them, this is the show that you can watch and feel like you have exacted the revenge on these people in your past or present! Keep it up ABC even after she completes her revenge she will have a new obstacle to break through, that will be how she wins back Jack’s heart and forgiveness for her albeit justified fake persona but to him a lie he will see as devastating since he is truly the only man outside Nolan she could reveal her own identity. I do hope that Nolan is not dead, but seriously why does he not have expert security on Site being that the dead man threatened his life before, a serious flaw in the writing, ABC please make it more believable for those of us out here analyzing the plausibility of storyliness. Thankyou Jenny from Canada
Yes, love the show. Keep it on.
OMG- I LOVE THIS SHOW. The human agony is very wel expressed, and I would love to see the show continue.
Love this show!!!! Keep it on.
I love this show. Can hardly wait Wednesday to Wednesday for the next program!! Here’s a tip–there are so many twists and turns to the show that for me taping it is great because I just rewind the parts that were a little confusing so that I can rewatch. It finally sinks in!! I hope the show is renewed.
I love the show and want another season! However, I can see how we may only get one more season due to the restraints built in on — the revenge focus and the storyline– you can’t have her killing people for 6 yrs and have a great story line. or can you?
I agree with Cory but, when you decide to end the series, bring the story to a close. Please don’t leave us hanging like so many dramas have in the past. If you don’t you will have a difficult time getting the public to buy into another drama with a contuning story of this depth.
I have avoided drama series for this reason but this story is so different and captivating that I never miss an episode.
Hello,
Yes, I love this show myself – I could maybe see a “Season 2″ as long as the ending it ended in a cliffhanger, maybe a season 3, but don’t see how it could go any further than that.
I do vote for a another season, well written, great cast and yes I do hope the Grayson’s get what they deserve!
#8 or 9 out of 22 scripted shows? No way they cancel this one.
