As expected, there was a good amount of drop off between weeks one and two. Episode two drew a 2.7 rating in the demo with 8.54 million, a loss of 18%. Hopefully this will be the end of the erosion but my gut is that it isn’t. CSI easily won the timeslot this time around.
Season average: 3.0 demo with 9.28 million.

Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/21/11
It was a positive debut for Revenge with a 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.02 million viewers. That was good enough for the drama to win its timeslot. One the downside however, the series lost a lot of viewers between the start and finish of the hour. It went from a 3.8 in the demo (thanks to Modern Family) and ended with a 3.0. That’s a sign that those people who switched it off mid-way won’t be back next week.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

This is the best TV show I’ve seen since the original Dallas. It fact, it’s better. This is one show that only gets better with each episode. Emily is doing what most of us would love to do–seek revenge on those who have hurt us in the past. The writers and casting are excellent. Please keep this show going.

I think this is the best show ever and I wouldn’t miss it for the world the plots are great story line makes sense and I want this to go on for years . But Im sad because the RIVER was a great show. It was scary and suspense, I don’t get why its gone. I’m also sad because I love THE EVENT as well. Those are shows viewers want to watch, its action and you can always get viewers to watch it if you play repeats. Or put them on demand to see what audience you will get. If I miss out on a show I always go to ON DEMAND to watch it.

Sorry! I meant to write that Revenge will have lots of competition on Sunday night this fall, because it is opposite The Good Wife, not Desperate Housewives…I know that series ended. Sorrry!
