It was a very positive start for Revolution. It retained most of the viewers from lead-in The Voice and most watched the entire episode. NBC released the first episode online earlier this month so some people may have watched that and not tuned in to see it on television.

Compared to last year’s timeslot occupant (The Playboy Club), NBC was up by 156% in the demo and 132% in total viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Love the show! Just waiting on when they announce that Charlie is really Miles daughter! I’ve seen that coming for a few episodes now!

  2. Bob says

” Revolution. J.J. Abrams is brilliant . His he is a great story teller. ”

True, but he is just a producer on this show. He is not telling any part of the story. Eric Kripke is, as he is the show front-runner.

Too bad they did not hire anyone with more than a grade 6 education for the science component of this show. It is pure fantasy, and is getting sillier as it progresses. Self-replicating nano-bots with today’s technology? Sure.

This may not be cancelled yet, but it will hit 1.5 before this season is done, and the NBC will re-think the renewal they have given it.

This show is pretty good. The reason NBC is deciding to cancel it is because they messed it up. Why on earth would you play a show’s first 10 episodes, and then go on a 17 week break??? Who the **** is going to remember anything from the previous episodes???? ******* stupid NBC!!!! THEY ruined this show!!!

    • Tami says

I agree. ABC did that with LOST and that is why it went under. These networks need to stop this stuff. There was and exhuberant amount of reruns on all the networks this season. They are hurting themselves by doing this type of programming. Sept-May is a television season so have a new show on EVERY week. DUH

    • emaegf says

But they haven’t canceled it. And it’s their Number 1 rated show. Would be really stupid to cancel their number one show. I don’t think any network would be that stupid.

  4. Why Watch says

The show had an interesting premise, but hasn’t executed. It’s become too predictable, though perhaps they should kill off a few more of the main characters and start back over with some who can act.

    • Jeremy Harold says

I like Rachel and Miles. Those two are great actors. And I think since episode 9 the show has really taken off!

  5. Mark says

Someone needs to inform the executives at NBC that they will never regain the top rating spots they once held with horrible shows and stale ideas like what they have been putting into programming in the last few years. Revolution is no exception. The actors on the show are good, for the most part, but the storyline is predictable and boring to watch.

  6. Heather says

I am loving revolution, it is one of my favorite tv shows and if I got cancelled I would be very upset. I love the actors who portray the characters , they are amazing actors and this show is just one word…. AMAZING. I love love love this show!!!!

I am really enjoying Revolution. J.J. Abrams is brilliant . His he is a great story teller. I really hope that at sometime soon you’d realize that when sports are on you will get lower viewers watching anything else. The programming is good. Lets have a bit of a change of reality tv to a good story. One that makes you use your imagination . Our young people need change if it doesn’t preform well the first episode. It usually takes for someone to watch these series for the first 3 episodes. Then after all the set up of characters and story line that’s when things really start to be understood. And so it begins. Be patient a bit in life. We all know that we live with death at our doors. One event can stop the world. Just one event, WE are due. I can’t be afraid of my shadow anymore. We need series like revolution to maybe give us some hope. The brutality still expressed in the here in now is a sad reminder we haven’t learned anything as a species. I love revolution. If anything it shows people need good leaders. A leader is picked by the people he is to lead. Go ahead get scared everyday then laugh about it later. Revolution has hope humor. But never forget the dark side. Try to agree to disagree.

My husband and I love this show. We don’t watch much together, but we look forward to this show. So tired of the networks taking all the good stuff off. We miss it and hope you count the people who DVR the show. Please put it back on!!

    • Jeremy Harold says

Don’t worry, it wasn’t cancelled. I also love this show. It went on a hiatus. It will be back on Monday! (Monday, March 25th)

  9. Chris says

I love the show. watched it every week except for the last two episodes which I had to watch on my DVR. I hope it gets renewed. please NBC renew Revolution.

I loved this show but cause of work i cant make the time to watch it from a TV boxs so i head over to a streaming wepsite where i can watch and catch up on any i missed i would hate to see this show tosses to the bins.

We thought it was an excellent show and couldn’t wait til the next episode. We watched The Voice and then Revolution. Why do the networks always cancel the good ones, like The Unit. Networks forget about the seniors out there, we don’t want all the reality shows. TV is generated towards the younger crowd. Wake up and realize there are alot more viewers out here.

Pam, honey… it’s all about who is going to buy that spiffy new widget company X is selling. The advertising industry thinks you’re too set in your ways due to your age… prove them wrong by purchasing gadgets and gizmos and perhaps in 5-10 years the shows YOU enjoy will become more mainstream.

      • dimo says

noah honey, you better go do your research and grow up, mr.clever clogs. what age group has the money power and is targeted by advertising again? go play with the kids and your gadgets and gizmos and stop trying to belittle grown ups. oh and why don’t you go and purchase some common decency and a little more brain power.
