The second episode attracted a 0.9 in the 18-49 demo with 1.94 million viewers. That’s a loss of 25% in the demo and 31% in total viewership. This is not a good sign for the show’s future at all.

Episode 01-01: Tuesday, 9/13/11
The TV series debuted to a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.84 million viewers. While Ringer showed significant growth out of its 90210 lead-in, it didn’t do much better than Hellcats did a year earlier. The quarter hour breakdown of the numbers show little erosion, meaning that most people kept watching Ringer until the episode was over.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Ringer TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Love this show, I would be a shame to cancel this series after just one season. You should at least give it a second season, so much potential, I love the twists and turns and suprises. Loved the unexpecxted twist with Juliet and the teacher and her classmate, totally unexpected. I think the writers are doing an outstanding job, I love this show…..Keep up the great work….

Love this show. It’s moving in a good direction, but in Canada needs to be on a station that’s more accessible to viewers.
