I have been watching this show on HULU and I love it!!!!!! I think all of the actors are great, very funny situations, I always been a CASSIDY fan and it was wonderful to see Shirley Jones appear. Alexa Vega is just adorable and sings great too….PLEASE bring it back. I don’t get it when shows like THE BACHELOR or LOST stay on 4-ever and GOOD shows get the hammer………

Really wish this show hadn’t been cancelled. I didn’t know that was the last episode when I watched it, and I sat around waiting for it to come back on but it never did. Then I found this post and now I’m sad. ABC Family should put it back on the air. It was such a funny show! I really looked forward to seeing how life would work out for Ruby. I wanted to see her become a star. Alexa Vega has a really nice voice and this show was a good comeback for her from being in the crappy show “Repo: The Genetic Opera.”

they say they are a new kind of family abc does,i guess it is true.they only want shows that promote kids to have sex,pop out babys,lie,be hateful and self centered and to do all the drugs you like to be cool.no wonder a good,fun,clean family show like r.a.t.r didnt make it.maybe if ruby had tons of unprotected sex and the boys got wasted all the time and beat the parents then abc cr.paly would of keep the show on.my tv no longer has this junk station on it.when they want to remove a fun clean family show i can watch with my grandkids for the garbage they show now,it will never pollute my tv screen again.SHAME ON YOU ABC NON-FAMILY!!!

I don’t think ABC reads these comments. Their not very smart, canceling Ruby pretty much shows you. I won’t let any of my girls watch any of the NEW shows they have on now. I thought it was a Family Channel! Oh wait we’re talking about ABC they wouldn’t know. Aren’t they in last place. This show had 5 million people watching, one day their going to wish they had that many watching. There’s plenty of cable stations that are glad to get 5 million people watching. Their day will come when everyone is watching My TV, Nick, Disney even The Cartoon channel has better NEW shows than ABC.

i do not think it should have been cancelled! that was an amazing show. the show was showing what happens between families. sure, its no secret life but at least its kid-appropriate. secret life is just teens having sex and getting pregnant. this show is one of the best shows i ever seen. abc family is making a mistake by cancelling it. its called abc FAMILY for a reason. teens can watch secret life with their parents but i have a family and they love ruby and the rockits. my background is like ruby’s. i didnt know who my father was until i was 15. ruby and the rockits is a good show and i will email abc family about it.

It was a fun show that brought young viewers in with some old school viewers as well with Cassidy.

I miss the show, and I loved watching it on Hulu. It was a refreshingly creative comedy about family life, something I rarely see at ABC Family. I also wouldn’t have minded watching it with my family – something else, ironically, that I don’t find at ABC Family. More often than not, I find myself feeling like their shows aimed at teens are too “adult” in their content and humor. I enjoyed hearing Alexa Vega’s amazing voice as well.

The show was on the air for such a short time that I didn’t find out about until now. I do agree with the other comments. There should be more family friendly shows and you finally get one and cancel it after 8 short episodes. I usually never get into a show until it has been running for at least a month or 2 and this looked like an excellent one. Give Ruby and the Rockets a chance.
