I can’t believe they canceled this show! It was one of my favorite shows! I was so upset when they had to pause it for the writers’ strike, and then it’s been moving around, and now it’s canceled?!! ABC seriously needs to reconsider this. Bring back Samantha Who!!

I really like Samatha Who. It was getting really good and was looking forward to the next season. ABC you all should really reconsider your desicion cuz you always cancel shows that are good. I too am very ify about watching a show on your network cuz you all always do this. It should be a vote the audience should make afterall we are the ones who make or break a show.

I’m so sad that ABC canceled Samantha Who?. I loved it! It was so original and soooo funny. I’m so tired of these networks getting you hooked on these awesome shows and then pulling the plug. Wake UP!! Not everyone watches wannabe celebrities dance or skinny runway models fight with each other. Some of us still enjoy smartly written, humorous comedies that require more than just hanging out by your phone so you can vote for someone. Booo to ABC! So sorry Samantha and cast. You’ll be missed.

I watched Cougar Town last night and loved it but at the same time I’m afraid to invest in it because ABC is so famous for pulling the plug on good shows.

Okay, here’s another classic “fudge up” by ABC apart from “The Unusuals”. Pulling a Kevorkian on “Samantha Who”!! What the hell is going on with ABC? TNT, FX and USA, Please help us!!! We are dying out here!!!! We need these two shows back! Samantha’s story line is awesome and the comedy on there is great! All of hese people are so, so talented!! I am highly pissed!

wow. I am extremely disappointed with abc. This was my favorite show and I know many others loved it too. I can’t believe this. The show lost viewers because nobody would ever know when it was on! It would air regularly for a while and then all of a sudden disappear for a couple of weeks. It was frustrating. Samantha Who is what drew me to abc in the first place. I wish there was something I could do. BRING BACK SAMANTHA WHO!

Rats!!! I just got completely and totally hooked on this show via the internet. So much so that I rushed out and bought both seasons on DVD and have devoured them. It is my absolute favorite show and I will miss not having new episodes to view. I agree 100% with what others have hopes for…..that another station picks it up! Keeping my fingers crossed for that!

WOW! Thank God “Lost” is at its last season. The end of that show will be the end of me EVER watching anything else on ABC. It feels like ABC has ADHD and they just can’t leave great shows like “Eli Stone”, “Samantha Who?” and “Women’s Murder Club” alone. Other networks should pick these shows up and wipe ABCs noses with their huge ratings! Oh, damn…they already do!

Samantha Who was one of THE most entertaining shows. Sharply written and well cast, it should never have been sacrificed. It was guaranteed laughter when the rest of the world isn’t giving us much to laugh at. Admit it: You made a mistake!

I really like this show. I watch it online. We are a family of five, and like most people we know, we prefer to watch online. We rarely use our TVs anymore to actually watch TV; we watch TV on our laptops. When the TVs do get used, it is usually to watch TV or movies steaming from the internet, play games, or watch a DVD. We are not confined by the networks time schedule. We can watch, pause, rewind, add or remove subtitles and so on as we wish. We are in control of how, when, and what we watch; and we like it that way. So to just look at who is watching through the old boob tube is a mistake.

This really blows. I started watching in mid-season and I like the show a lot. I planned on watching season one online before the new season started. Guess I won’t have that opportunity. Wonder if there is a chance another network will pick it up.

I couldn’t believe it when I heard Samantha Who was cancelled. It was a much better show than a lot of the crappy shows that are on now on ABC. It was really funny and it kept me watching it every week. Hopefully it comes back.

It’s a crime, really. It did have a great lead-in, but without letting viewers know about the change in timeslot it was hard to follow. I would have to say that this was one of the freshest, brightest comedies in a very long time. Writing, talent, what a shame to not give it another chance. Applegate and cast need to be on television. On this show.

I am soooo dissapointed in the cancellation of my favorite comedy! I absolutely love every character on the show… every episode has me laughing out loud, which is something most of the new comedies just dont have anymore! This is ridiculous. With the crazy timeslot changes and lack of promotions OF COURSE ratings are going to dwindle! It was obvious the show itself hadn’t lost its luster going going into and delving further into the second season, if anything it grew stronger. Put the show back to a regular, predictable timeslot and the ratings will look healthy again. But of course, ABC gives up early as usual and cuts another could-have-been rating king.

Wish you would reconsider. The show is enjoyable, funny, well written. There’s so much trash on television today I often wondered where all the good writers had gone; then I watched Samantha Who? and found out. Fortunately, if this cannot be reconsidered, there are still good books to pick up.

Of course they cancelled Samantha Who. It was a good, clean, funny, entertaining show! Let’s replace it with more trash on the air waves. The new shows coming on now, the reality shows, the idiotic so called comedys that are nothing more than a boring string of one liners, ….. keep those coming! I have a lot of books that I haven’t had time to read anyway. Thanks TV networks. Keep up the good work.

That’s too bad. It was cleverly written, funny, and dealt with real-life emotions and situations in a quirky way. I recorded each episode so that I could watch and enjoy fully. Please reconsider the cancellation.

Are you kidding. I was just getting into it. I’m just starting to get to know all the characters. What a great cast. I totally enjoy each one of the characters. That is a hard show to find now a days. It is really one of the funniest sitcom around and my favorite. I hope another network picks it up for the fall. I would love for Lifetime to pick up.

Why would you cancel one of the few great comedies left on TV? While I enjoy reality TV, it’s become the norm, and it’s nice sometimes just to have a good laugh and a great storyline as an escape. Good writers, and Christina Applegate is incredible on this show. Bring it back!

I have watched this show from the beginning. I am so over reality tv. This was a happy show to watch. I would sit down and take a break for 30 minutes and really enjoy it. My family started watching it with me too. I hate to see it end.

I just got through watching what I’m guessing is the series finale of Samantha Who? I had heard from a friend it was cancelled, so I googled it and found this article and am very diappointed, to say the least, to see it is true. I hope this decision is reconsidered. Samantha Who is one of the best comedies to come along in a looong time: funny, great cast and characters, great storyline, GREAT writing, and you couldn’t help but watch every week to see what Samantha was going to discover about herself, and if she and Todd would ever get it together. I have been a loyal ABC viewer since I was young…and besides Grey’s, Lost & Private Practice, Samantha was the only thing keeping me coming back…and even watching again on abc.com. I hope this show gets picked up by someone…

I love this show! And I’m so sad to see it end so suddenly. Did ABC even air the finale? I haven’t seen it. My solution is, if ABC doesn’t want to go forth with the show, maybe (and hopefully) another network will pick it up. Like what they did with Scrubs!

I agree with all the posts above. I never watched Dancing, and fell in love with this show because it was strong enough on it’s own. The only thing I wished was that it was 1 hour long instead of 1/2 hour. The fact that it hit right around the same time as the writer’s strike, that Christina Applegate was diagnosed with breast cancer, and never had a chance to recover from all that really shouldn’t be taken out on the show. Someone said it already, but I believe they’re right when they said they believed the show not having a stable time-slot really hurt the stats. I love the show, and I found it really difficult to follow it when I never knew what time it would be on. Being a 1/2 hour show as well really didn’t help, because when it was over you’d switch channels to find yourself half-way through some other show. Not too many other good 1/2 hour shows on at around the same time. It’s why I always recorded Samantha Who and watched it later, but I haven’t missed a single episode.

What a mistake! This comedy is snappy, smart, and very entertaining. I agree that trying to find its latest time slot is like a treasure hunt. ABC keeps hiding their best show. No wonder cable is finding more and more converts. I am sorry that this quality show is being sacrificed for mindless, boring, copy-cat programing. Such a waste of excellent talent – from the writing and production to the acting. On the plus side, I am grateful to ABC that someone (thank you!) saw the potential in this show and gave us the episodes we do have.

Please, I really enjoyed the humor of this show, I like the other milon viewers have been searching for it when it disapered. Probably why ratings droped off no one knows when it is on. Another thing if you do cancel please sum up the story line and give us a conclusion. ABC is the worst about starting a show and bam it is gone after I invested hours into it and I am left not knowing what happened,

I watch Samantha Who in the UK and love love this show – one of the funniest new comedies in a long while and i’m very disappointed to hear that the show has been cancelled meaning no Season 3!! We’re still watiing for the episodes beyond ep 13 in series 2 to be shown in the UK and its very fustrating!

This was one of the few great shows left on television. I am disgusted that ABC has canceled it. I love Christina Applegate and the rest of the cast was fantastic too.
It’s a shame that television is clogged and wasted with such tasteless reality shows with no real talent. When a real great show comes along with a real storyline, acting, and great talent, it has to be pushed aside. It’s sad.

Please bring back this great show. If not, I won’t be watching ABC anymore.

Very surprising news! Loved the story line, funny dialogue and the cast. They did have great chemistry. Christina Applegate was perfect as Samantha.

I agree that it might have had a better chance if it hadn’t been moved around so much. Iam very disappointed in ABC.

ABC are you out of your collective minds by canceling Samantha Who?. Do you always have to cater to the lowest common denominator? You never give a show a chance to develop naturally. Had you had a better lead-in instead of the lame Mother show you probably would not have lost your audience. The Dick Van Dyk e Show, Mash to mention a couple of shows that did not have a great viewership at first became classics. Samantha Who was a perfect vehicle for Christina Applegate and the cast had real chemistry. I always thought of the suits who make decision a bunch of incompetent idiots. You are just proving my point. The show was quirky and funny and left you with a great feeling. And while I am complaining, what’s the bit about breaking with crappy news stories during regular programming. Hey you guys, there are enough news channels for those who need to have their news fix at the drop of a hat. Besides, Obama is no longer news, he is far much on the air waves and hearing his clipped voice pretending to be presidential is getting to be a bore.
