Save Me: Season One Ratings

Save Me TV show: canceled or renewed?NBC has had poor luck with sitcoms lately. All of their new ones were cancelled. Will Save Me be added to the pile or will it be renewed for a second season instead? We’ll have to wait and see.

The TV series stars Anne Heche as a housewife who believes she has a direct line to God after nearly choking to death. Others in the cast include Michael Landes, Alexandra Breckenridge, Heather Burns, Madison Davenport, and Lamman Rucker. There are 13 episodes.

Below are the TV show’s ratings for the 2012-13 season, the best way to tell if Save Me will be cancelled or renewed for a second season. The show typically airs on Thursday nights.

These figures will be updated as the weeks progress so be sure to bookmark and return to this page:

It was a lousy start for the new sitcom. It seems that NBC made the right decision when they held it for a post-sweeps premiere.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Save Me TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

I only saw the pilot and it was better than what I thought, but I won’t be watching it again because even though Anne’s character is said to have been this horrible person by her husband and daughter and her friends, they’re the ones that I found unlikeable. I didn’t think she really should have been treated like she was. And it also doesn’t help that it just wasn’t very funny to me. The premise is intriguing though.

Didn’t know anything about this show before seeing it on Hulu. Instant hit! I really enjoy the characters and messages.

I love the show. An actual feel-good show. Who knew there would ever be another one of those. Most sitcoms survive on sarcasm and nasty one-liners. This one is great fun. The cast is wonderful — especially Anne H and the husband. I hope it is renewed for many, many seasons.

Keep the show.
She has great comedic timing, excellent cast, don’t like everything they talk about, but I love the honesty of someone trying to figure things out. Things get messy sometimes. i like the fact that they have the courage to discuss things about faith in the ” reality” of how things can be. Don’t torpedo it now…let it grow and find it’s audience.

At last something to laugh with, and have a GREAT message to boot! I can’t wait to see the entire series… Please give this sitcom a chance, it will catch on, believe me.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the show! Insightful. Funny. Honest. Happy. Poignant. Worth watching. SO much crap out there! This show is fabulous!! Congrats to the Producer. Come on, NBC…don’t give up! The crowd that will love this show just doesn’t know it exists!

Excellent! Love it! Very smart writing!

Those are some really bad ratings. I think it would probably be a good idea not to make a sitcom with religious undertones. You start out of the gate making a large group of viewers wary about your show, and when you are NBC, people are already wary about watching your shows. NBC should treat sitcoms like dinner conversation. Never talk about politics or religion.

Anne is terrific and extremely underrated
How could anyone not love her. She and us deserve for this series to make it.
I honestly believe its a winner and so is she.
Good luck

I love Save Me! Keep it, we’re all sick of the reality crap!

I wish the people in charge would give some shows a chance. This one has been on for two episodes (in one night) and already they are worried about ratings for the season?

Big Dan May 27, 2013 at 4:55 pm

It was the first sitcom that I was hooked after seeing only the first episode. The 2nd kept me hooked. Great! Keep it on.

Nice, I like it, that only means it won’t last. Lots of potential, Anne is great.I’ve seen two episodes, can’t wait to see more. Wish they would give it a chance.

SAVE ME is very cute, I have only seen 2 episodes, so it is too early to tell if it will keep its fresh and funny nature with a special message. I hope they keep it on for a full two to more seasons to give people a chance to discover it… and by the way most comedies I will not watch – this one is great.

I agree as the show could have legs. Kinda hard to tell with just the pilot and one episode.
